Goscottishtours Reviews

Roman has been very helpful and accommodating in getting a trip for me and my family booked for August 2027. He has painstakingly walked me through everything and provided a very helpful map with accompanying narration. We are really excited.

We are looking forward to our trip to Scotland! Sean explained all of the processes to us very simply and was very informative and helpful.

Contracted for scheduled experiences throughout Scotland by car. A non authorized change to our itinerary occurred half way through trip. Missed many of the executions due to lack of commination on entry fee/time/ location plus the allotted time provided to travel by car from one destination to the next. Two excursion on the itinerary were not paid for through goscotishtours as agreed upon. The accommodations per establishment were moderate at best. The amount of money charged by goscotishtours substantially exceeded the value received. I have previously worked with two other companies one in Ireland and one in Iceland. I did not encounter any the the problems and disappointments with them as I have with goscotishtours. I am very dishearten with my scottish experience. Hoping they improve.

The travel agent, Sean, was very helpful in setting up my trip to Scotland, he is also very personable and friendly.

Euan is our travel specialist and has been incredible! He has planned us a fantastic tour. He really listened and included all we wished for. We cant wait to travel!!

John Devine was super to work with. He accommodated all our little quirks. The experience with John was easy.

Sean Rooney is the best! He was polite and easy to talk to, informative and patient. He listened to what was important to me and helped me make my best decision. Sean and Go Scottish Tours are terrific!

On the good side, we had no problems renting the car. The hotels they booked were all very nice and most of the attractions were as advertised. However, I had several difficulties early on with communications. They were very slow at responding to all of my questions particularly about payments and I didn’t get my vouchers until about six days before we flew out. I was getting very very nervous. One of only two requests was the Jacobite steam train. I found when we arrived at the station, the steam train was not running at all and our tickets were some random train trip to Mallaig. We were not told of any of these changes so it was a surprise when we arrived at the train station. We ended up not taking the trip after all because there was a four hour layover in Mallaig. But the worst experience was showing up at the Edinburgh Castle on the correct day in our itinerary and finding out that our tickets were for the day before! we had visited two other castles the day before, and there was no way we were going to make it to the Edinburgh castle on that day. It was a straight up mistake on their part. It was our only day in Edinburgh, so it was our only option.

My Wife and I just booked our first trip to Scotland. We're working with Mike Connelly and are very pleased with his knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness.

Mike has communicated very well, to the point of a text message or email question has been answered in minutes.

We feel confident the rest of our planning for our dream trip to Scotland will be amazing thanks to Mike!!!

Michael listened and was very patient as it took a few months for me to finalize things.
His determination to setup a perfect experience for me and my daughter was genuine.

I’ve recently booked a trip with Goscottish Tours. The process has been very easy. I gave our travel consultant (Michael Coleman) a few ideas and he’s been very helpful with finalizing our trip plans. With Giscottish Tours you can very easily customize your trip, accommodations and activities. Michael asked lots of questions to help us get there. I take the trip next year so I can’t speak to their execution yet, but the booking process (and value) has been top notch.

This is our first time traveling international with friends, and we couldn't be more pleased with how comfortable we felt with Garreth guiding us through the planning.

He has a wonderful personality, is very knowledgeable, great listener, as he listened to the type of experience we wanted to have and came through with a great itinerary.

Garreth was extremely patient and flexible and answered every single question we had. He made the process easy and seamless, which gave us great peace of mind knowing that we are in good hands. Thank you so much Garreth!

The company asked what we wanted from the trip and what to experience and made a great rail and car trip for our family. It was a pleasure working with their representative Michael and I would recommend this company to anyone. I can't wait for the trip!

Thank you Garreth for your expertise handling our upcoming trip to Scotland and Ireland. I appreciate working with you and is eagar to visit these beautiful countries! Thank you!

We had an outstanding experience working with Euan on our Scottish Dream CIE Tour. We did a CIE 2025 tour in Ireland and wanted to find a travel agent for a Scotland tour. Euan, from the beginning, was very knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail of our trip was perfect. He took the time to understand what we wanted, offered excellent recommendations, and handled all the planning. He made the entire process stress-free. Thank you Euan. We look forward to our May 2027 trip.

Roman was simply amazing. We have wanted to tour Scotland with a small group. He gave us an itinerary that looks amazing, and to help us understand and see it better, he made a video. Roman was always very friendly and answered all our questions and then some. We are very excited to visit Scotland. Thank you, Roman.

Received excellent advice and service from Mike Connelly while booking our trip to Scotland. It was a stress free process. The itinerary for the short five day trip is perfectly paced, and the insider tips will make our time in Scotland memorable. Fantastic customer service from start to finish.

Michael Coleman has been very kind and helpful in planning our Scotland self-drive tour. He has happily answered my questions and made changes that I requested. (I enjoyed talking to him just to hear his accent.)
We're excited to take the trip he planned!

When planning a family trip, we reached out to many travel services including GoScottishTours. Through this research I was connected with Garreth. By far, he was the most responsive, nicest, and most detailed person I’ve been connected with. Not only did he provide an in-depth itinerary with the sights and stops we were interested in, he did a digital walk through to help us really envision our trip. Our family vacation is now booked with them and we are beyond excited! So happy to have been connected with Garreth.
