Great experience with GoSkate.com! Their AI-based learning approach makes skateboarding much easier for beginners.

Didn't expect much at first, but this turned out great. We booked at Venice Beach Skatepark and got Coach Gabriel. He connected with my kid right away no awkwardness, just straight into learning and having fun. By the end, my son didn't want to leave. That says everything.

Really enjoyed my lessons. Ruther helped me big time, I had been struggling with my confidence for more than four years. Skateboarding is not an easy sport.

I have been trying to skateboard for five years, and finally, I caved on skateboarding lessons this winter. Goskate endured me it would be fine to learn in the winter, and linked me up to Micko. We had a blast. The whole system was superb, from the instruction to Ron in the sign up.

I took lessons with Steve, who is a senior instructor, and I learned so much in just four sessions. Steve was so friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about him, They did a wonderful job.

We paid $599 upfront for 6 sessions for my son, but after only two classes , this company has completely stopped responding. My husband and I have made multiple attempts to contact them via phone and text with no reply. Because they have failed to provide the contracted services and are now ignoring us, we are filing a dispute with our bank to recover our funds.
They are scam for sure!

My three kids (ages 7, 9, and 10) are taking GoSkate classes at Garfield Park. Coach Malik is a legend, lol. First session, and they were pushing like naturals. They're addicted now 😂 continuously asking when the next class is. Worth every cent. My three boys, ages 7, 9, and 10, have been attending weekly skate classes for a month now, and we're seeing fantastic results. Their instructor, Jordan, integrates stretching and core exercises into their warmups to help prevent injury. Beyond stunts, he teaches students to remain focused and not give up. It's been encouraging to witness their confidence increase both on and off the field.

This place has been clutch for our shy little guy. Coaches Will & Nate rly brought him out of his shell. Now he’s helpin other kids. Like what? So proud. Def recommend it if u got a shy kid who needs a boost.

GoSkate paired us with a great seasoned skateboard instructor. Ryan's is very methodical and very patient with students brand new to skateboarding. The scheduling was very flexible and Ryan was willing to meet practically anywhere in the vicinity. Definitely looking for more lessons next summer.

I would give them zero stars if I could. My son twisted his ankle and I attempted to cancel his lessons well in advance of the scheduled date. But the company keeps dragging it and did not process my refund. I even offered to schedule 1 class if they can't cancel and refund. But even that they have not done. They kept saying soon, tomorrow, next week etc for months and no refund, no trial scheduled. Extremely painful to deal with. Stay away from this company. They are frauds.

We got our kid a new skateboard for Christmas and wanted him to have a few lessons over the Christmas holiday. GoSkate seemed like an easy, if expensive, solution. He was super excited about the lessons and you can imagine his disappointment when the instructure failed to show up the first day and canceled at the last minute the second day.

We were about to fly home (we live in another country) so we asked for the full no-questions-asked refund that is mentioned on their website. After many messages back and forth we've never gotten it. They keep saying it's in processing, but it's obviously never coming.

The whole experience felt very scammy. When a company's website has a page titled "Is [company name] a scam?", it's probably a bad sign. We should have done more research since many others seem to have had bad experiences with this company.

My son went from struggling to ride to confidently skating in no time. GOSKATE has the best instructors.

I’m in my 40s and thought my skateboarding dreams were behind me, but GOSKATE proved me wrong! Brian made me feel like I was 16 again, and I’m skating better than I ever have! He was so patient and made everything feel possible. It’s NEVER too late to start—thank you, GOSKATE!

This is a great place to get your kids to learn skateboarding. Coach William was amazing.

I recently wrote a review about a no show for first lesson. Rhica, my customer service rep, told me that the contract states I have to accept their offer of a different instructor. Actually, their contractor states I would forfeit a $99 fee if I didn't accept the offer of the different instructor.

Rhica set up a conference call which was supposed to happen today. The window time for the call was 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. At 3:51 I sent her a text reminder. At 4:15 p.m. I sent her a text inquiring if the call was still happening. It is now 4:20 p.m. with no response to either text. (She has been horrible with other calls and not letting me know that they weren't happening as scheduled.) Their customer service reps are no shows for scheduled calls and their instructor a no show for lesson. Horrible, horrible service.

SCAM ALERT!! This company scams people of their money. They’ve been scamming people left and right for the past 10 plus years!! Thousands of dollars!!!! How is this company still around? They operate under serveral different names. Archery lessons, skateboarding lessons, lessonspro etc. just do a google search of GoSkate on Beter Business Beaureu and see the many reviews of other people not getting their money back. If you purchased with a credit card please cancel your card and claim fraud! They will charge you without permission!! They reschedule and reschedule in the hopes of time passing and the banks not being able to refund due to time. Further, there is a reddit page of Nusensei who did an in depth write up of this company under the Archery lessons 10 years ago and even till now the company is still scamming people. I highly doubt that the people giving this company 5 stars are actual reviews!!! Most likely fake reviews!!! STAY AWAY! REPORT REPORT REPORT!!!

Great company. Assisted well with lessons. Awesome instructors and great customer service.

The skate instructor assigned to my lesson was very great! He taught me a lot and was very accomodating.
