Gough Throne where recommended through our Estate Agents Urban & Rural. We were assigned Sabia from Jennifer’s Team.

Sabia has been a pleasure to work with, she is very polite, professional and always willing to answer the phone at any point in the day. Any questions Sabia would always get back to me as soon as possible. We had some set backs with our sale and Sabia was fantastic with advising and helping us.

We are very greatful for their fantastic and friendly service. A big thanks to Gough Thorne and Sabia for looking after us!

I did find their online system to be good and the lack of posting or got to office A Or B very good. Just a simple upload on a secure server gave me confidence on not everything being lost in the email thread

Sabia is an excellent conveyancer. She was efficient, had all the searches, etc. completed in good time & was very patient & tenacious when dealing with our buyers' solicitors whose efficiency was sadly less than optimal. She's a good communicator & I feel that she is an asset to Gough Thorne.

Great service! Communication throughout was excellent and everything was made very easy.

We used Gough Thorne LLP based on the recommendation from the developers. We had a very short time to complete and as they stated that they worked closely with the developers and knew the development well we decided that they would be best suited to allow us to complete on time. Which they did do.

However, I would have expected them to have a better idea of the costs involved in such a transaction having done so many with the same developer and development. The final bill was far different from our initial quote.

Also, on the day of completion and on our way to collect the keys I received an urgent email to say that they had made a mistake, we still owed them money and can't complete until it has been paid. I called and was told the same thing. I was confused as we had made a bank transfer based on the invoice figures they sent to us. I was very stressed and decided just to make the payment anyway as to avoid any delays or complications.

A few days later I decided to send them an email querying the extra charges as it didn't make sense. They have since refunded the extra charges that we paid but failed to offer any explanation or apology.

I did find their online system to be good and their staff were friendly when I spoke to them. But based on my experience I would not recommend Gough Thorne as there quote was not accurate and we got charged incorrectly and would not have received a refund had we not queried it.

Andrew and his team helped and guided me throughout the sale of my property.
Professional, dealt with everything over a long period of time. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to use them again on the future.

I have enjoyed working with Karolina from Jennifer's Team and feel very lucky.

Of the 3 solicitors involved in the transaction, Karolina was by far the most competent, constantly flagging other's mistakes, correcting and keeping everyone in the loop.

She was able to push and deliver before Christmas, even tho everyone else was expecting the contract to be exchanged in January.

Throughout the transaction, which took around nine months due to issues outside of our control, he has been professional, sympathetic and very understanding. All communication was returned promptly and he listened to all requests before explaining the options.
