Our conveyancer was Andrew and we really liked that most of our discussions were with Andrew himself. He always took the time to explain everything, managed our expectations with timings and costs and replied promptly to our questions.
Uploading documents to the portal that Gough Thorne use is relatively straight forward even if you are not great with tech and there was always prompt confirmation of documents or funds received.

The customer service I received from the whole of Andrew’s team especially Jagpal whilst selling my house was amazing! Jagpal went above and beyond through what was one of the most stressful situations of my life through no purpose of their own and they supported me to make everything as smooth as they possibly could. The purchase wasn't without incident and they do charge more than most but the team were always available on the phone in Andrew's absence. And the delays were owing primarily to the selling party.

In respect of the costs, Andrew was always transparent with them and would send me a revised invoice and explanation when needed.

Jodi our case handler kept us updated at all times throughout our house sale and the purchase of our new home.
The online portal is so easy to navigate all your documents are on there to read print off fill in and upload back into the portal can also take photos of documents and upload them aswell we used smartphones but I’m sure if you log in with a laptop or computer you can fill them in online.
When on the odd occasion we got stuck we just phoned Jodi who talked us through what we had to do.
We did have to meet Jodi who is so nice and helpful and very professional a credit to Gough Thorne.

The team managed the legal aspect of our completion process from start to finish. Just a normal service I will say, nothing exceptional. Probably look to go above and beyond in your delivery.
