I found the Tackling Gangs, Violence and County Lines Conference 2022. Highly informative and very interesting indeed . It was an insightful conference with some fantastic speakers . I found the presentation by Simon Harding extremely interesting and a real eye opener into the mind set of young people caught up in the county lines drugs business.
especially how the gangs can be seen to offer status respect and peer respect to young people who feel like they are living on the fringes of society .
the presentation from Francis Appiah form reform , restore and reflect gave a brilliant lived experience view into grooming , and recruitment into county lies gangs and how this is linked to modern day slavery was essential listening , to understand how recruitment works . All the speakers were really good and i found the session extremely important and would recommend these events to others . well done

They constantly spam my work email address. Spam filters don't catch them because they keep sending from different addresses.

Sick and tired of unsolicited spam emails.
Just blocked their domain on my email - bye!

They or somebody acting on their behalf consistently and frequently send me unsolicited commercial emails (spam) with no prior contact or consent.

I think this is a shameful way to operate and of course completely self defeating because no reputable service would give business to a spammer.

I am constantly receiving spam emails. Keep sending them to junk and blocked. But then another one will pop up from someone else in the company. Very frustrating.

The keep spamming me with emails when I've never had anything to do with them.

I've never used this company and I'm getting 3 emails a DAY, ridiculous amount of spam. I block every email i get but they just keep coming.

Constant Spam Emails
All sent to my work email, I do not respond ever... block the senders email and then get another one from someone else at the company...
I am not someone that makes decisions on conferences and I am not going to forward the email to someone who does as per our company policy.

Wish this company would do their research and contact the right people rather than just spam emails to anyone.

Constant stream of spam into my work email inbox which I never signed up for - every time I start blocking emails from one address, they send them from a new email account. Attempting to unsubscribe does nothing. Terrible practice.

The virtual conference I attended earlier this year (paid for by a client - it was quite expensive) was good and useful, with some quality speakers. However, I get more follow-up emails than necessary, and I am uneasy about a company misleadingly calling itself "Government Events" when it has no discernible link to government.

I enjoyed the conference and would like to attend next year.

’My first time attending The Seaside and Coastal Regeneration Conference and found it to be very informative, the guest speakers gave good insight into their topics. It was also good to get an insight into other destinations challenges and developments

This was a very useful topical event that opened dialogue of what works to support BAME students to succeed in higher education. The workshop encouraged attendees to review curriculum, assessment and pedagogical processes to ensure inclusivity. It highlighted how educators operated in an Anglo Saxon, discipline specific manner, which may alienate many of todays students. It made me recalibrate, reflect and rethink my attitude to teaching, learning and methods of assessment to ensure inclusivity.

I liked the information involved in the event from various universities and it was helpful to see various approaches universities are adopting to improve outcomes for ethnic minorities students. I think the event provided this platform which is much needed for the universities as we all work in isolation so it was good to share ideas.
