I was looking for some advice for my elderly Mother. The lady that answered the phone was so helpful and nice. She put my mind at ease and booked me in for a video consultation appointment with a lovely doctor. The doctor was really nice and gave me the best advice. Would highly recommend this service

Very poor experience compared to going to an actual dr in person, use only as last resort and even then proceed with caution.

Had to hound them to send out and receipt and sick note for work following the call. On the gp call, the consultation was very short and bizarrely went into market research mode at end, asking how I found the service and what browser I use.

Afterwards, it turned out my chest infection was more serious than that indicated by the drugs I was prescribed by GP24 and I had to go on new drugs and get an x-ray in the hospital due to the blood in phlegm, which should have been explored more on the call and picked-up.

This is a business rather than a GP service and regulation needs to be tightened significantly in this area.

Do not waste your time with this service. I requested a doctor visit and received email to say they would call to confirm within 2 hours… well that was yesterday morning and I have not heard anything from them.

Submitted the form online with details requesting for a doctor to visit the house for a sick child. They rang back within an hour. Reception staff were polite and professional, made the reservation. As it was 2pm, they said it would likely be the next morning the doctor could visit.

However, despite multiple calls, they doctor never turned up and we cancelled after 30 hours had passed since our initial contact to them and went to the emergency room of our local hospital.

I don't think they should take bookings if they can't commit to having someone visit within 30 hours, especially if it's a sick child. Disappointed with the service.

Unreliable Drs. Still waiting four days later for a prescription after paying 45 euro and being assured I would have it same day. The customer service reps have been very good but ultimately that isn’t enough. I’m without an inhaler and going to have to go to an emergency walk in with my disabled daughter because the Dr who sent the wrong prescription still hasn’t rectified the issue. I have called a total of five times and each time am told there is nothing they can do. Extremely disappointing. Apparently I can’t ask an alternative Dr to write a prescription because then I would have to pay again in full despite the fault being at their end and not mine.

Looking for a doctor for a child. Tried this, they never rang back after leaving data they didn't need. Wondering is it a scam to gather data on people

These Online Clinics are popping up in Ireland like wildfire. It would be nice if there was actual Irish Doctor(s) from Ireland and not all Non European Doctors.

The Medical Council need to do more regulation here. Medication is being handed out like smarties. Literally anyone could do this job.

An answering machine is likely to have a better bedside manner than any of the staff employed.

Our own doctors are over stretched, and in most cases we cannot get an appointment so we’re forced into this alternative. These new doctors coming into Ireland are only here to make as much money as they can. We are their CashCows.

Terrible service booked an appointment and paid onlibe for it. I received no call waited another day and I called them and they said they wouldn’t deal with my issue of insomnia and anxiety as they are not symptoms that they deal with. If I didn’t call I wouldn’t have ever heard from them. Stay well away from GP24.

Extremely prompt service, reasonably priced for a home call out & professional thorough GP. Worth the money instead of a 12 hour wait in A&E!

I was unable to register with a GP, my daughter was suffering from ear ache and GP24 rendered care and medication.

Easy communication, fast response, easy to use from the comfort of my home.

Within an hour of making the initial phonecall to GP24 I received the consultation phone call from the GP. He listened attentively, was so knowledgeable and offered great advice. He provided the necessary paperwork for the Emergency Department, should I had need for it. So reassuring on a Sunday evening when everywhere else is closed.

They asked the questions re symptoms in a thorough manner and sent a precription to my pharmacy.

It's an excellent, professional and prompt service that I needed out of hours..... The doctor was as thorough as he could be over the phone and I was treated very respectfully
