Great Place for Jiu-Jitsu

Me and my two sons train here under Professor Cal and Professor Matt, and it’s been brilliant. The gym’s really clean and organised, and everyone’s friendly and helpful. The coaches are really keen to teach, and the atmosphere is super supportive. It’s great for fitness, and you get to use your brain too, which makes it more than just a workout.

The kids’ classes are spot on—really disciplined, but still fun and safe. The coaches push them in the right way, and you can tell they care about the kids getting better. I’ve trained at other gyms, and this one stands out. We’re really happy to be here, and I plan to keep the kids doing it for the long haul.

If you’re thinking of starting Jiu-Jitsu, I’d definitely recommend this place.

My son loves these classes . It’s a fun place to be while learning martial arts . This has help with his confidence and specially the self defence side of these classes. The instructor are amazing and easy to approach. Everyone is welcome .

Couldn't rate them enough. The coaching team are great with the children and really dedicate their time to training all aspects of jiu-jitsu. My son loves going and really enjoys learning new skills.

My 14 year old son joined Gracie Bara in Frome about 6 months ago & absolutely loves it! I knew nothing about Jiu Jitsu before he started & wasn't sure what to expect, but have been really impressed by the coaching staff & everything he's learnt so far.
There is a huge emphasis on looking after your team mates and there is always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. His confidence is growing too & it's great to see him making friends with kids he wouldn't otherwise meet, as we live in Warminster.
It's good value for money too & in an easy location to get to.

Very professional outfit. Well structured classes. Great to have the separate teens class. Coaches are brilliant. Love the photos you get when they celebrate a new belt as that’s a lovely keepsake. Most importantly my son loves going.

Amazing jiu-jitsu school for children. My 11 year old has been training here for 3 years and absolutely loves it. She has learnt so much jiu-jitsu and the all important self defence. The coaching team are fun, professional and knowledgeable so your child is always looked after. Would definitely recommend if you are considering a martial art for your child or just looking for something different!

My boys 8&7 have been going for 2 years now and I cannot rate this club any higher. The coaches are amazing and bring confidence to even the most timid. Team work within the groups are amazing and children make friends easy. Teaches kids discipline and confidence highly recommended

I have been training at Gracie Barra Frome for about a year and a half. My two daughters are training as well and my wife trained for a while too. We have nothing but extremely positive things to say about the sport and this club in particular. Having jiu jitsu has hobby has had a big positive impact on me and my family, physically and mentally. The coaches in Frome are amazing, they deliver high quality training and instructions, in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. I think they are particularly good with children, such a good delivery compared to other martial arts schools we have tried for our kids. I would recommend anyone, at any age, gender or physical shape, to give it a go, and to sign up their children. Having trained to several different places when travelling, I can confidently say that we are blessed with an outstanding school and an outstanding team.
