Grantify's team are very professional, with constant support and advice for how you should represent your application. When I failed my first submission they helped review for the second submission, at which point I won the grant! Recommend them strongly

The Grantify platform is well structured and makes the whole application process very straightforward. The videos and templates are particularly useful and the AI tool adapts your input to fit the required criteria. The whole process would have taken 5 times longer without Grantify

Great platform and it's really really really great to have the business plan analysed in such a way that, even if you don't win the funding, you get a much deeper understanding of what you aim to deliver.

Incredible user interface and dashboard. Without a doubt, this is the most intuitive system I've ever used for assistance in putting together a complicated application for anything.

I enjoy the help and guidance both from the human perspective and through the prompts and comments on the form.

Unfortunately our R&D claim was chosen by HMRC for review, resulting in lots of questions and queries. Emily Taylor handled it superbly; answering all HMRC's questions, getting on the phone to them and constantly chasing when HMRC were less then responsive. I was impressed by both her professionalism and expertise. The experience was painful , but it would have been worse if we hadn't had Emily looking after us all the way through.

Applying for grants is extremely tedious, even with a platform designed to help. As soon as I signed up, I was passed off to their platform, which required a LOT of work to fill out.

At the time I used their platform, it was a clunky form with word limits and prompts/notes alongside each field - it didn't appear to have any special tech/do anything to improve my writing/results - It felt designed around restricting the founder and making it easier for their grant writers. NOTE: Mat informed me they've made massive strides to improve the platform, tech, ease of use, and overall user experience since I used their platform a year ago. I will update once I've tried the new platform.

The platform felt like they simply combined my responses into a word doc and made some minor tweaks, but did explain what to say and how long to spend on each answer. I got a reasonable result in the first application (~80%).  Grantify notified me this is a top 10% score, though the impact of the product on score is not clear as much of the work is behind the scenes. NOTE: Mat mentioned they're making it more obvious what their tech is doing in the background and thanked me for the feedback. It’s likely come a long way over the last year - Mat mentioned full front-end generative AI integration.

Between first & second submissions, my business evolved a lot (3+ months, nearly finished prototype, etc.). I contacted saying I needed to make some changes and asked to book a call; they informed me they only make minor edits when the initial score is already so high. Several weeks later they came back with minor grammar edits and echoed the main questions/feedback from the formal assessors (leaving a short window to resubmit).

When I shared this, one of the founders took time to speak with me and promised to help resubmit - he was friendly and assured me he'd make it a priority to personally help me, which was nice and felt like the tide was changing. After the call, another grant writer reviewed my docs, not the founder, and feedback was similar. Admittedly, this was an incredibly tight window for resubmission, so while the founder wasn't particularly at fault, the process was. NOTE: Mat informed me they're working hard to improve resubmissions with better engagement and support.

I’ve been in touch with several dozen Grantify customers through various startup communities since, and not a single founder I've encountered has secured a grant with Grantify. NOTE: Mat said they're working to improve data transparency. He ran through the numbers and while everything was accurate when broken down, it had been communicated in a misleading way initially (perhaps unintentionally), a part of their sales process they told me they've overhauled completely to prevent confusion. They also have clearly got a lot of winners as can be seen from their socials and the data Mat talked me through. Over 2024 however, they're shifting to a "Grants as a Service" model, rather than professional services - meaning they’ll identify/apply for more opportunities to support startups.

My experience wasn't great, though I recognise my business is more complex than many. I also think it's worth acknowledging the time and effort Mat spent to talk me through the direction and future of the business and listen to my feedback to action improvements accordingly. If you're really on a tight budget and only interested in a single grant, spend a few days and $20 on a ChatGPT license and see what happens. If you don't succeed, you can always resubmit with a partner like Grantify. Successful applications/feedback from assessors won't be available publicly though, so grant specific tools like Grantify should add value if they’ve effectively integrated this data into their tech. If you'd like support applying across multiple grants, the version of Grantify later this year might be the way forward (but I won’t know until I try).

I felt much better about the partnership after speaking with Mat, who invited me to help "stress test" the new version. When a business listens to and welcomes constructive feedback from customers - even if it's not perfect yet, I always see that as a very encouraging sign for the future. Given the above, I do intend to try the new version when it comes out.

Can't fault the platform, the videos, the template or the support. The whole experience has been high quality, high touch and incredibly valuable.

I started a previous Innovation Smart Grant application but was not confident that I was providing adequate answers. Grantify provide great templates, sample answers and guidance. For the price, I think this is a great tool.

Ai feature helped greatly with application compilation

The Team at Gratify are absolutely amazing! They are friendly, reassuring, professional, knowledgeable, responsive and kind. They are also unassuming, with individualised responses to enquires. The platform is a treasure trove of information and guidance. The AI assistant makes composing a response so much easier.
I will totally recommend their services for first time grant applicants.
