I am very sorry that you had that experience. You are right. We forgot to include an item in your hamper. There is no excuse. It was our mistake.
Our number one priority every day is to make our customers happy. That's it. So when we mess up, we do everything we can to make sure it won't happen again. In this case, we called in all our staff and re-trained the picking process again. We have also initiated a new double and triple check procedure.
We did issue a refund to you immediately. You would have seen the screenshot of the confirmation that we sent you. When you said that your bank was refunding you, were were happy that you seemed happy with that. Your bank contacted us for authorisation for the refund and charged us a whoping fee on top. We authorised that immediately so that you would not experience a delay. I really hope that they have refunded you by now.
As the owners of a small family business, we apologise again for your experience.
I hope you don't mind me taking this opportunity to assure you and anyone reading, that this was a once off. Thankfully the vast majority of our reviews are 5 stars. To be honest, we can't afford to be getting anything else. All we have is our reputation.
Thank you for choosing us in the first place and if you are brave enough to choose us again, we promise to prove ourselves to you 100%. If not, we understand and apologise again for our mistake.

I was really disappointed my order…
I was really disappointed my order arrived 3 days later instead of 24 hours later. Also my message was not delivered with the gift so my sister had no idea who had sent it. it was a complete disappoiontment and i wont be using you again

Please accept our apologies for your experience. We are also disappointed. Our goal is simply to make people happy, both the sender and receiver of a gift.
We did include the message but a new member of staff put it on a card, thinking that it would be a nice added extra in the gift. Unfortunately, these can get lost in the packaging sometime. That's why we normaly print the messages and stick them on the inside lid so the recipients can't miss it.
As for the timelines, we shipped the order the day after your order came in in the evening. Our courier delivered it the day after that. This is about as quick as it gets in Ireland. However, I am sorry that we did not meet expectation on this. It may have come from our "Thank You" email where we say that our couriers usually deliver within 24 hours. Of course, we have to receive the order, prepare it and give it to them first. We will review this choice of wording in case anyone else takes it up that way.
Hopefully, you can accept our apologies and the sincerity of our response. It can be difficult to convey the sincerity in this situation but please note that bad reviews are taken very very seriously here. As a small family business, all we have is our reputation. We put our heart and soul into making people happy every day. Thankfully our 5 star reviews indicate that we acheive that most times.
We regret that we were unable to impress you this time but I promise that we will continue to try our best to make all our customers happy every day.
