Avoid Grenke at all costs
Grenke mis-sold printers to me. I stopped making payments because they were overcharging me and the printers were not working properly. They then decided to collect the printers and sold both of them for under £100.
Despite taking the printers back, they still decided to take me to court and are now trying to charge me for the rest of the contract term, even though I no longer have the printers.
Even the courts seem to be aware of this scam company and issues surrounding this company. If they send you letters threatening court action, go to court and defend yourself. This company is known for mis-selling printers to small businesses.
They are now trying to claim over £12,000 from me. I have attached a letter from the courts as evidence.
This is a horrible company. Avoid it at all costs and make sure you read your contracts very carefully before

Grenke have been working with a scam telecomms provider Zappie. Zappie use loopholes and questionable sales techniques to mis-lead purchasers into contracts - via a cold call.
Zappie sells the contract, they fail to inform you that Grenke will supply equiptment, not them. Then they get you to sign a contact with Grenke (a tiny insert at the bottom of the contract seals the deal) - You are then tied into a contract for 10 YEARS with Grenke.
Here is the best part - even if you leave Zappie (who just put my bill up by 174% each month) you are stuck with hire of equiptment. The cost of the kit hire works out to inxs of £21k over the contract period!
The issue here is - Grenke are fully aware of this scam.
Any company that works closely with another while being fully aware of the scam is complicit.
Avoid at all costs
I am a real customer - but I am not the only one that has fallen foul to this scam - there are many of us out there. I am aware of a court case in process to fighting against both companies.

This company and K5communications did not provide clear communications as to what the agreement was. Sales reps were pushy to get a sale as it was late but also assured us that are contract with BT would be paid off and we would only be paying no more then what we were paying with BT.
The setup was also a not a smooth experience and we had to get router replacements and phone replacements. Trying to get the billing department or tech support at both companies was to difficult.
We are a small business with 5 employees and the communications between Grenke and K5 is awful. We didn't know anything about Grenke until payment had left out bank account.
Do not use Grenke or K5 they shouldn't be trusted.

A Warning to Business Owners: K5 Communications & Grenke Leasing
I’m sharing this to help other business owners avoid the situation we’ve found ourselves in.
When we joined K5 Communications, the owner of the company assured us they would handle the cancellation of our previous provider and manage the crossover. This turned out to be untrue — we were forced to arrange this ourselves. We were also told that any cancellation fees would be covered by K5; this never happened.
K5 installed the internet service, and for the first six months everything appeared to work extremely well. However, the service then suddenly stopped functioning. We later discovered that K5 had been relying on connectivity from our previous provider. Once that provider disconnected us, the service collapsed entirely. From that point onward, we were unable to achieve speeds higher than 10 Mbps, rendering the system effectively unusable for our business.
Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue, K5 Communications became completely unresponsive.
The situation was compounded by their finance partner, Grenke Ltd. A secondary agreement lacked transparency around how it related to the hardware and service being supplied. When the equipment and service failed, Grenke did not investigate whether the product had been mis-sold or was fit for purpose — instead, they moved directly to debt collection threats.
In our experience, this arrangement appears to function as follows:
K5 supplies the equipment and service, while Grenke enforces the finance agreement, regardless of performance or suitability.
Takeaway: If transparency, accountability, and fair treatment matter to you, proceed with extreme caution — or steer clear of both companies altogether.

A Toxic Partnership of Mis-selling and Zero Accountability"
Avoid both K5 Communications and Grenke at all costs.
I was sold a financial package by K5 Communications for equipment that turned out to be completely unfit for purpose. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the technical issues with K5, they ignored all correspondence.
To make matters worse, I discovered that K5 had entered me into a secondary financial agreement with Grenke Ltd without providing clear transparency on how these two contracts were linked. When the equipment failed and I was forced to cancel, Grenke’s response was appalling.
Instead of investigating a clear case of mis-selling or technical failure, Grenke refused to listen to our concerns. Their only mode of "customer service" was to immediately jump to threats of debt collection and court proceedings. They have shown zero interest in the fact that the product they are financing is useless.
This is an unprofessional, predatory way to treat a client. If you value your business's financial health and your own sanity, stay far away from K5 Communications and Grenke.
If I could give a MINUS STAR I WOULD!

EDIT*** Adding insult to injury, I received a canned response directing me to a customer service department that has already failed to help. Don't mistake a generic template for actual service; we both know this is a hollow gesture. If there were any genuine empathy or intent to resolve this, it would have happened before I was forced to leave a public review!!

Since signing the contract, it's been one problem after another. Fees started showing up that were never mentioned at the beginning, and every time I try to call and sort it out, no one answers or gives a clear response. Customer service hasn't been helpful, and at my age, it's exhausting trying to get a straight answer from anyone. Reading up about CENTURY and 100 and getting a scoop on how it works changed everything for me. I smile every week with a very good pay since I made the switch.
