Beware of Client Omer - Untrustworthy and Dishonest
I had a highly disappointing experience with a client named Omer on Upwork. We agreed on a project for $400, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we settled on a reduced payment of $100, with the understanding that he would not use the design I created. Unfortunately, Omer did not honor this agreement. He used my design without permission and failed to pay the agreed amount of $100.
This is not just a case of non-payment but also a breach of trust and a violation of our agreement. It seems Omer has a pattern of exploiting freelancers by using their work without fair compensation. This behavior is not only unethical but also damaging to the freelance community.
I strongly advise other freelancers to be cautious when dealing with this client. Make sure to have clear agreements and take necessary precautions to protect your work. It's disappointing to encounter such dishonesty on professional platforms. Avoid Omer if you value your time and effort.
