I ordered a auburn wig with bangs human hair. 170 bucks and got a synthetic Ronald McDonald looking wig. Took 30 days and 40 emails to get my money back

Title: Warning: Incomplete Order and No Refund from Hairsmarket Hair

I placed an online order with Hairsmarket Hair on September 20, 2025, for hair bundles and a wig totaling $271.30. The company advertises U.S. shipping through its Hebron, Kansas warehouse, but is based in China.

When my package arrived, it contained only the hair bundles—even though the shipping label listed both the bundles and the wig. After I contacted the seller, they admitted the wig was on backorder and said they had canceled that part of my order, but never issued a refund.

Since September 23, I’ve requested a prepaid return label for the unused hair bundles. The company refused and instead told me to send the items—at my own expense—to a third-party address in Montclair, CA (FLYT-AIXIU) that does not appear to be affiliated with the merchant.

All items remain unused and in their original packaging. The seller’s conduct violates U.S. consumer-protection laws, including the FTC Mail Order Rule and Fair Credit Billing Act. I have filed a formal bank dispute (Chime Claim #18208749) and submitted documentation to both my bank and the Kansas Attorney General.

⚠️ Consumers should use extreme caution before ordering from Hairsmarket Hair. Verify refund and shipping policies carefully and research reviews first.

I ordered a wig and hair bundles from Hairsmarket Hair on Sept 20 2025 and paid $271.30, including overnight shipping.
The company later admitted in writing that the wig was never shipped and that they would only issue a refund after I return the bundles at my own expense.

They’re now posting misleading explanations claiming the order was “split for faster delivery,” but I was never notified of any split shipment or cancellation until after I contacted them.

The FTC’s Mail Order Rule (16 CFR §435.2) requires an immediate refund for undelivered items, not conditional refunds tied to customer costs.
It’s been more than a month and I still have no refund for the unshipped wig.

Be cautious — this seller operates from China, using a rented Kansas warehouse to appear U.S.-based. Communication delays and refund issues are common.

Only get hair from here. Very good quality and very soft. Very fast shipping, always receive in a few days. Love Hairmarket, I always recommend to others and get the best compliments.

I ordered both the Hairsmarket Highlight P4/27 Deep Wave Bulk Human Hair for Braiding and the Blonde Highlight Bundles Deep Wave Weave and I was very pleased with both!

The hair was super soft, and full from root to end. The deep wave pattern held beautifully, and the highlights blended perfectly without looking over-processed.

Minimal shedding and according to my stylist it was easy to install. I got so many compliments on the color and texture! I would definitely order again. 💛
