Hallbrook Partners (represented by Ewan Porter) acted on my behalf regarding a compensation claim lodged with the FSCS.
At the outset, Ewan explained the process in easy to understand yet comprehensive terms which outlined the likely ongoing process. My role was limited to providing any supporting evidence relevant to the claim, further to which Ewan made the appropriate engagement with FSCS and prepared all the documentation and supportive narrative required for the submission of the claim (having first run through the content with me). At all stages of the (inevitably lengthy) process I was kept up to date with the current status and Ewan was always readily available in the event I had any queries.
From the outset, it was made clear to me that only in the event of a successful claim would any fee be payable to Hallbrook and that, as such, my risk in pursuing the claim was zero. This in itself was very re-assuring. Happily however, thanks to Ewan’s efforts on my behalf, the claim was successful and I can state quite categorically that I have never paid a fee for the provision of a service which was more warranted. Ewan and the Hallbrook team provided an exceptional level of service for which I am extremely grateful.

I was called out of the blue by Hallbrook regarding an investment I had made almost 20 years ago. The investment was a pre ipo offering. My investment had never come to any fruition and I had long ago thought I would see any funds from the companies demise. Hallbrook highlighted that the original prospectus had been dishonest and had several breaches of FSCS rules under which it was covered. They offered a no win no fee service which I took them up on. The process was simple and professional. To cut a long story short the claim was successful and they returned my money less a fee. As I never expected to see any of that money again I was very pleased. Thank-you.
