Im struggling!! I really cant fault this company.
24 East/West array, Aiko 465's, S4 mounting system, 2 sigenergy batteries/ 8kw inverter and gateway.
We had a leaking roof that was in poor condition, we decided a re roof with intergrated solar was our best all round option to obtain money back for the new roof.
After alot of solar research and a few phone calls to Matt at Halo I realised he was the guy, easy to talk to, very switched on, helpful and did not push for a sale at all.
Struggling to find a roofing company Matt agreed to take the whole job on. Just what i was looking for 1 company 1 payment.
An independent engineer came, discussed and video'd all my requirements.
Had a great service from the whole team right from the start, whatsapp contact was ace, punctual, very tidy and polite too. They all know their stuff, they made sure i was happy on every task, especially wiring.
Scaffolding up Sunday, turned up on the booked start date Wednesday, completed in 3 days, Scaffolding down on the Saturday.
All relevant paperwork sent the day after Install.
Top service from these guys, install is just how i requested it right at the start.
Since the initial connection I havent used any electricity from the grid!

Before committing to this project, I spoke to a number of the UK's leading solar and battery suppliers. Only two companies truly stood out, with Matt and Ashton from Halo Renewables being clearly ahead of the competition in terms of their technical knowledge, industry experience, honest approach and highly competitive pricing.

​When it came to the physical installation, the workmanship was exceptional. The scaffolding went up and came down on time with zero issues.

The on-site team were fantastic—they arrived promptly at 8:00 AM and worked straight through until 3:00 PM, keeping me fully informed during the entire process and leaving everything immaculate. The roofers, Thomas and Riley, did a flawless job installing 12 panels on the back roof, 3 panels on the side roof, and 3 panels on the front roof. They kept everything perfectly square and neat, and they also fitted a bird guard around the array.

Down in the garage, the electricians, Bradley, Riley and Luke, did a brilliant job setting up the complex wiring, battery stack, gateway, and the 7kW EV charger. It is an incredibly neat job with minimal wiring visible, as they hid the cables perfectly from the roof and on the actual stack itself.

I genuinely cannot fault the installation crew at all. The Aiko panels are performing incredibly well, and the SigenStor battery stack is a flawless piece of engineering that is already maxing out our 4kW export limit during peak sun hours with next to nothing being drawn from the Grid since installation.

A couple of project management issues surfaced when trying to finalise the project. There was a localised stock shortage with the 7kW tethered EV charger. While I understand supply chain issues happen, I wasn't made aware of this delay until the team arrived on the installation day and we ultimately agreed on an untethered unit to get the job done after chasing. Furthermore, there was an unexpected £183.60 National Grid DNO transfer fee that should've been factored into the original quotes, which I had to pay out of pocket at the final hurdle to avoid further paperwork delays.

Having said that I am incredibly happy with the final working system and want to give massive credit to Thomas, Riley, Bradley, Riley and Luke for their exceptional work and professionalism on the install, as well as Matt and Ashton for their ongoing support and guidance.

Halo Renewables were truly BEST IN CLASS for their premium products and service, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to go solar. My only advice to future customers is to stay on top of the administrative detail, handovers and paperwork timelines (MCS/G99) at the very end. From my experience, if Halo sharpens up their project management, they'll easily beat the competition hands down everytime.

From the outset Halo offered a flexible and comprehensive service with the most up to date technology and competitive pricing. Ashton was happy to indulge our desire for trying different setups to find the best combination. Then the fitting team of Riley,Riley and Luke were prompt, polite and very efficient, getting everything installed by early afternoon.

From the outset, Matt and his team made the whole process easy.
A quick and easy telephone survey was completed and then a very thorough proposal came through. This was followed by an in depth survey at my property to make sure everything could be installed as expected. During the survey, we actually found an easier installation route, so very worthwhile.
The team installed all the kit on my house roof, garage roof, plus inverter and battery in the space of one day. They were extremely nice lads and a credit to the company. My back garden was left exactly as they found it, and the scaffolding was taken down the day after.
All in all, it couldn't have gone any better.

arrogant guys Matthew and Alfie, I have reached out to them for a quote , they said they will get back to me after discussing with their technical team , after that they gone quote and blocked menon whatsapp and phone , seems utterly stupid , if they are not interested or incapable in doing my project they could have let me know instead behaving in silly manner

I had two stacks of SigEnergy batteries installed today and have to say, the chaps were brilliant.

As it was a bigger install they sent Bradley, Luke & Riley - all very nice and respectful lads (although for his own sake, Riley needs to remember to wear a hat on hot days like today!!!!!).

All the chaps knew their stuff, gave me a full handover, were really approachable and nice.

Obviously can't comment on after sales, but based on how the sales process and then installation has been, I'm expecting no problems. Matt has been brilliant throughout and his team are a credit to him.

Called Halo Renewables, after getting several quotes, for a Sigenergy install comprising of two batteries and 6KW inverter. Spoke to Matt, who impressed me with his knowledge, and can do attitude. He provided me with a very competitive quote, and the system was superbly installed by James within 3 weeks of initial contact. I have been most impressed with Halo and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My experience with Halo was one to remember. A polite well mannered and well presented fella, bristling with knowledge on the subject at hand. The most important aspect of the visit was a salesman who told the truth and not pushed the product. Just gave me sound true information which in today’s society is hard to come by. My attitude is simple I would recommend Halo to any member of the public or others, wishing to purchase green products to help with their ever rising cost of energy. No bull simple to understand, cost effective but again the most important honest and true

Matthew was brilliant in sorting out a quote, managing the DNO process, price was brilliant and the installation was better. Had a team of 4 come and do the panels and battery install and they'd finished by lunch time, Can't recommend enough.

This Company is just brilliant. From first enquiry to installation only four weeks after, Matt, Brad and the team could not have been more helpful. The high spec. Sigenergy system is amazing and already performing beyond our expectations.

Mathew, Ashton & Bradley along with the rest of their team, were superb throughout the process. From start to finish , planning and designing the system. The team are extremely knowledgeable and customer service is excellent. Their quote was extremely competitive. The quality of the install was brilliant which was a big factor for me. I did get quotations from the likes of heatable and iheat. Their quotes were over inflated and they kept reducing them in order to win my business.. With Halo , a straight forward competitive quote with no hassle. I did have my concerns about halo not being a local company to me but throughout the process these concerns are no more. I plan on upgrading the system on the future and will be calling on their services to maintain and upgrade the system.

From start to install was very good. Had several quotes from other companies and Matt not only beat their prices but offered a superior install. Had the highest rated solar panels with optimisers and free bird protection.

Had my 19 Panel & 2 Battery Sigenergy system fitted by Halo about 2 weeks ago. The process was very easy from start to finish and after sales support has been spot on (I ask a lot of questions!! 😀). Matt and the team have been superb! Professional from quote, survey and installation! The Installation team were excellent and had the system up and running in a day. The system installed is first class and exceeds my expectations! If you are considering Solar & Batteries don't make any decisions until you have spoken to Halo!!

Great fast service, ordered extra battery at 5pm in the evening and got it installed next day after lunch. Very pleased and highly suggest anyone to use halo.

Excellent all round. We had quotes from 5 different installers. Throughout the process the Halo team were exceptional, the quote wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive (it was very competitive) but they went so much further.

Before the install day and during the survey they were always available and proactively suggested improvements to the plans where it was useful and showed lots of patience giving great feedback to my constant questions and research around the tech.

On the install day the team arrived promptly and set to work like a formula one tyre change team, everything installed and in place within the day, including dealing with a few on the day snags which the team raised with me and resolved well.

I asked questions on various models and the advice he gave was straight forward and honest.

went ahead with his recommendation, everything was e-sign - nice and easy - and then 4 weeks later (as they have to commission with electric company or something) got a call to install and they came and installed and tidied everything up.

very professional, very friendly, unbelievable they offer such great service.

I feel very confident if there is ever a problem these guys will come back as it is clear they care about the customers
