We had a great 2 week holiday planned and booked with Harji’s India. We discussed options for itineraries and various accommodation styles, all of which was done with care and attention. All of the support network in country, including guides and drivers were excellent; professional, informative, flexible and knowledgeable.
When we encountered disruption to our return plans due to the Middle East war, Harji’s excelled in getting us alternative flights, transport, accommodation and due an extended stay, additional excursions and itineraries to make the most of a difficult situation. The team in country and in the UK worked really hard to make our trip the best it could be.
We would highly recommend Harji’s India for your next trip.

On our fourth visit to India we had a wonderful, varied holiday of three and a half weeks in Kerala and part of Tamil Nadu, both of which were new to us. Everything worked seamlessly: we had an excellent driver, who looked after us for the whole time as well as very good local guides in each place. We learned new things every day, about culture and history as well as about wildlife and tea and spice growing. We had some excellent birding walks, too.
We particularly enjoyed our stay on the Windermere Estate near Munnar as well as at Wayanad Wild, at the CGH Spice Village and at John's Farm and Home. The two nights on the CGH houseboat were a perfect end to our trip.

We had an amazing 3 week trip which was exactly as we wanted Planning and arrangements were handled brilliantly by Shiv. He couldn’t have been more helpful! It was a 5* holiday at a very competitive price. Thank you Harji’s India!

Our holiday to India with Harji’s was truly a dream come true. I’ve wanted to visit since I was a little girl, and it exceeded every expectation. From start to finish, both the UK team (a special thanks to Shiv) and the team on the ground in India were outstanding, clear communication, quick responses, and incredible support, especially with the visa process and any itinerary adjustments.

The logistics throughout were seamless. Airport and train transfers ran perfectly, always on time, with friendly faces, thoughtful extras like water and snacks, and comfortable, air-conditioned cars that felt like a touch of luxury after long journeys.

Our driver was a real highlight of the trip, professional, kind, funny, always impeccably presented, and most importantly, made us feel completely safe on the famously busy Indian roads. We would 100% request him again. Similarly, our ground handler Sumant was exceptional, constantly checking in, coordinating everything behind the scenes, and ensuring we were happy, safe, and well looked after at all times.

The accommodation was beautifully curated and varied, from homestays to havelis and hotels, each one unique and welcoming. It somehow kept getting better as the trip went on. A special mention to Fort Barli and our hotel in Jodhpur, where a surprise birthday upgrade organised by Harjis made the stay even more memorable.

Guides overall were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, we learned so much and felt fulfilled every day. The tiger safari guides were outstanding and helped make it a fantastic experience. That said, at times a couple of guides felt slightly rigid or over-cautious. As an artist, I would have appreciated a bit more flexibility to browse markets and soak up inspiration, and we were disappointed to miss a local festival in Jaipur that other travellers attended safely. A little more adaptability in these moments would have made the experience even better.

Overall, the itinerary allowed us to see an incredible amount in a short time, and everything ran so smoothly behind the scenes. The whole trip felt like excellent value given the quality of accommodation, experiences, guides, and organisation.

We absolutely loved every second, cannot wait to return to India, and would not hesitate to travel with Harji’s again, both in India and on their future Asia trips. Highly recommended.

Excellent communication with Shivjit Bagga from the beginning.Our itinerary was tailor made for us and included all my requests.A very varied and immensely enjoyable holiday with great attention to detail. I would most certainly recommend this company.

From the start Harji was able to understand what type of trip we wanted to achieve and it did deliver. He put a 1 month trip together covering Rajasthan, Amritsar and Shimla. We liked taking it easy and have rest days in between which enabled us to absorb the culture and variety in the various places without rushing. A combination of lovely home stays, small family hotels and ancestral palaces/homes gave us a lovely balance with lovely home cooked meals.we deliberately avoided large hotels to get a more authentic experience. For us Jodphur and Udaipur were the best cities as they are not too big to get around. However every place (Delhi, Udaipur, Jodphur, Jojowar, Vijainagar, Jaipur, Agra, Amritsar and Shimla) we discovered delivered memorable and special experiences and more. The culture the colour and the friendly people… Absolutely loved our trip. Thank you Harji and team.

We travelled in February 2026 and from the time of booking, travelling and return the service offered by Harjis was exemplary. We were met, driven and guided by a professional, kind and personable team in India who whilst all individuals were 100% reliable and friendly at all times.

Fantastic experience. I could not recommend Harji's India highly enough. Shiv ensured all aspects of the trip were well executed, initial enquiry, planning of itinerary, booking hotels, enforced flight changes [middle east war], pre-departure information/phone calls etc. Once in India we were in safe hands with Sumant [local agent Delhi Office] and our driver Surender. A trip of life time and one not to be forgotten. Well done to all at Harji's india.

When I approached Shiv initially I had pretty much set my itinerary having spoken to a number of other travel consultants etc. However Shiv impressed me with his knowledge, explained some differences between offers and helped we fine tune the trip. We continued to develop the trip, confirm hotels etc. We were already extremely happy with his efforts but when the Airlines began to be disrupted, he was always contactable to my queries and together we put in place contingency plans. Lucky we did, and he reserved seats with alternative airlines in advance of our original airline Etihad cancelling our flights with 2 days to go.....Well done Shiv. The trip was saved and everything we had discussed was as described.
All guides were good and full of the local knowledge. Udaipur [Vikram], Jodpur & Jaipur in particular stood out.
I thoroughly enjoyed the authentic train travel and it was everything I had hoped for. Not sure I could or would have wanted to go for an extended period however. We were escorted by Sumant at Delhi train station to the platform and he was on hand to ensure we got the right carriage and seat. On arrival at Agra we were met by the local agent and taken to our driver [Surender].
Surender our nominated driver throughout our stay was on hand at all times, always cheerful and very attentive. When I needed some assistance he was always there and willing to help. Smartly dressed and very personable, we had good conversations and was always happy to share photo's, stories and advice.
The Delhi office personnel [Sumant] was also in touch regularly and on hand throughout our stay. Always in contact to check we are happy, accommodation is to standard and whether required any assistance. Both he and Surender are a credit to Harji's India. Sumant was very engaging, polite and attentive. He seemed genuinely interested in both us, our family and our trip. We got to know him well and he even sent us video's of his daughters dance competition which was so nice to see. From the minute he met us at the airport to the contact at the end of our trip he was fantastic. He went out of his way to help , even sourcing sun tan lotion for us as an emergency. A lovely man, we wish him all the best in his career at Harji's India.

Thanks to all...Might have to go back and see more of this wonderful country and will be contacting Harji's India for sure.

Harji’s India arranged a tour of Kerala. There were 5 of us and we had our own tour guide and driver. The tour was excellent, the scenery and countryside amazing. We especially enjoyed our day and night cruising the backwaters.
Everything was organised perfectly from the pre-trip information to the actual tour.
I would recommend Harji’s India to anyone planning to go to India, especially Kerala.

I want to start off by saying we had a wonderful holiday to Southern India, the itinerary was brilliant and the communication with Harji throughout the booking was great, however unfortunately due to the Middle East issues part of our return flight was cancelled by the airline. We appreciate that this was completely out of Harji's control and many thousands of people in the same boat but on a conversation with Harji whilst still in India asking him for some help or guidance he told me to call the airline myself and that he didn't want to help and put the phone down on me, I called him back and asked if we could discuss it further the following day and he told me that he would decide if he wanted to speak to me and we never heard another word from him. We are back home now after a stressful time away and to this day (we've been back a week) we have had no communication from him checking we are home safely. Luckily we were in contact with Sumant the Delhi office and he couldn't have been more helpful and sorted our return flights out for us, what a star! He even messaged to check we were home safe and sound. I know the issues in the Middle East are completely out of everyone's control but a little bit of help and communication would have gone a long way, intsead of putting the phone down on us!

We had a terrific 3 week trip incorporating sites on the Deccan Plateau and Hampi. Everything was organised perfectly and we were looked after every step of the way. Harji’s flexibility and attention to detail was greatly appreciated and we would highly recommend him. Indeed we have just started the process of planning our next trip.

We booked our private journey quite late (7 weeks before departure) We felt that (unlike other top level companies) Shiv at Harji’s listened to what we wanted to do on a Kerala tour and produced an excellent itinerary including accommodation options. On the ground the accommodation transport and guides were first rate. The evening before we were leaving from uk our midday flight the next day was cancelled due to the war. Shiv rapidly arranged tickets via different route and airline on the same dates with the result we lost only a couple of hours of our holiday. A 5 gold star service

We didn't want to do the standard Kerala/Tamil Nadu itinerary proposed by the "big" tour operators and so presented Harji's India with our own. The initial positive response was quickly followed by a beautifully constructed and comprehensive itinerary including hotels and activities we had not considered. Every question was answered fully and promptly. During our trip we were given great support including regular messages from Harji's rep in India - to the extent of offering to meet us at Delhi airport at 3am to facilitate our flight transfer! Really outstanding service from start to finish with particular recognition given to Shiv in London and Manoj in Delhi. We fully recommend Harji's and are already planning our next visit to India with them.

From the beginning in devising our itinerary Harji provided us with excellent communication, feedback and recommendations. We had a fabulous trip aided by the excellent drivers, guides and hotels.

We have just returned from an amazing 21 day trip around India covering Kolkota, a trip up the Hooghly River for 3 nights, Chennai , Pondicherry,Tanjore,Chettinad,Madurai,Goa and Mumbai
organised by Shiv.
This was our second holiday with Harjis India and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to other travellers.
Everything from flights,transfers,hotels,drivers and guides worked well.We had a contact in India,Manoj who was available 24/7 via what’s app in case we had we had any queries or concerns and he checked in with us regularly each time we travelled to a new area to ensure we had arrived safely and we were happy.

Harji put together an excellent trip for us and was very easy to deal with. He booked some wonderful, small, boutique hotels and the guides, drivers and sites visited were all superb. If we were to visit India again Harji’s India would be the our first port of call.

We have recently returned from a month in India organised by Harji's India. As detailed in my review of September 2025 we have travelled with Harji's India many times.
Our latest trip to Delhi, Amritsar and lesser known destinations in the Punjab was immaculately organised by Harji and his team (as always). Our accomodation was excellent and the food quite amazing. All travel arrangements worked seamlessly. We needed to make one change of venue during the trip but this was organised effectively and efficiently by the Delhi office.
Again, we cannot recommend Harji's India highly enough particularly if you wish for a tour slightly off the beaten track.

Our holiday was out of this world a holiday of a lifetime truly phenomenal from beginning to end. The itinerary Shiv put together was superb so varied and interesting. Manoj their agent in India went above and beyond what anyone could expect. I broke my elbow on the second day and he organised all my hospital appointments with the local guides. He was in constant contact checking every day we were ok was there anything we needed and were we happy with guides itinerary etc. He also allayed any fears we had when war in the middle east broke out. He kept checking our flight status for us so we never had to be anxious. This is the second time we have booked through Harijs tours and I cannot recommend them highly enough and we will definitely be using them again.

Fantastic holiday everything worked so well from being met at the airport, delightful driver, so kind and thoughtful.
Contact with agent in India was frequent and reassuring. Highlights were family homestay for 2 nights, mini cruise on Kerala backwaters, temple visit in Madurai very memorable and the welcomes at each hotel we stayed in. We want to make a return visit and would certainly use this company again.

We have just returned from an holiday in Northern India organised by Harji's India. It was a tremendous experience, run by a very professional company. The professionalism and arrangements of the groundstaff, guides and drivers was exceptional. I thoroughly recommend this company.
