Initially I was really anxious about finding the right clinic in the UK at an affordable price, where I was confident in knowing they would actually do a really good job and that’s what I got with Kevin, Dr Kalra and his team of technicians at Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinics.

Kevin was great at explaining how the whole process would work from when I first enquired through to the finished procedure. I visited the Edinburgh clinic as it was closest to me being from Newcastle. Dr Kalra and his team were excellent, we spent a while chatting about how the procedure would go, deciding on the hairline I was after and before I knew it, it was over within 5 hours. You’re fed and watered during and after the procedure as well.

Dr Kalra gives you his personal number after the procedure and is always on hand with any questions or concerns you might have. Before you leave, you are given a bag full of everything you will need to successfully come through the initial aftercare period. I’m now 10 days post procedure and all the swelling and scabs have gone, I’m fully healed and can now see all the transplanted hairs and can start to imagine how it will look with 6-12 months growth. I’m really happy with how it looks at this stage.

If you were like me and nervous about whether to actually go through with this type of procedure and whether you would end up choosing the right clinic or not, you really don’t need to be with this team.

Had my hair transplant with HSHCs just over a week ago, from my initial consultation to the day of surgery with Dr Kalra the team at the clinic have been excellent with me. I went into the clinic very nervous but it turned out to be a very calm experience, all staff were very accommodating and lovely to speak to. Everyone was also very reassuring and I couldn’t ask to be in better hands on the day.

I have been saying for over 5 years i would get my hair transplant but then kept being put off by it but then finally i decided to go ahead i shopped around and then finally spoke to somebody who made it sound so simple, the whole process from start to finish was explained very well by Kevin and I could tell i was in good hands by Dr kalra would definitely recommend!

What a fantastic team!!!! In the beginning I was quite unsure, anxious and nervous. Kevin was very helpful and reassuring. I got good advice from Dr Kalra about the right procedure for me and I was not disappointed. On the day I was well looked after by the team who were easy going and very professional but made me feel at ease. Although the op took long hours, I did not regret it and I was sent home with a pack containing everything needed for after care and instructions. I followed the instructions and now nearly 9 weeks since I had my transplant, my hair from the donor area has grown quite well and the recipient area is filling in. I am sure after another 3 months no one will notice the difference.

I was certainly anxious about getting a hair transplant,however I did my homework and settled on Harvey street hair transplant clinic.I had my consultation with Kevin who answered all my questions and provided all the information I needed reassuring myself of any doubts, I did not feel pressured in any way he was very easy going. I was pretty nervous about getting a hair transplant - I'm not super keen on anything medical, so initially felt a bit crazy putting myself through something cosmetic. I decided that if I was going to get it done it would be in the UK with a highly professional team, and made the right choice in selecting Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinics. Kevin during consultation, and Dr Karla and his excellent Technicians on the day, were all amazing and made the whole process a breeze and actually interesting and kinda fun. They are obviously passionate and skilled and all my nervousness and reservations went away and I found the day of surgery quite relaxing. It was also great to go straight home without the hassle of hotels and flights. Dr Karla worked around my existing long hair as requested without a full shave. I worked from home for a week after the procedure, and subsequently with the existing hair covering my donor and recipient areas no one has noticed I've had anything done! I followed Dr Karla's post op instructions and advice and have had absolutely no issues, and now I'm looking forward to the exciting process of the hair growing in and getting a perfect hairline. My hair transplant took place very recently and was a quick process from deciding to undergo the treatment and receiving the transplant. The whole experience was first class, with Kevin providing all the necessary information and putting my mind at ease. From my first contact with Kevin he has provided great customer service, responding quickly or questions, offering consultations and giving me time to make my decision (not a salesman like I have experienced before). He is extremely knowledgeable in this area and so far everything he has told me has been true!
Dr Kalra is a fantastic doctor and he knows everything there is to know about hair loss, I trust him completely. The surgery went smoothly, some of the injections hurt at the start but after that it’s the sitting still for hours that is the hardest part. The nurses were also brilliant they were happy to talk to you if you initiated conversation but didn’t chew your ear off if you were quiet.
It is 4 months since my surgery and the the hair in the top of my head is almost fully covered with a few thinner spots where I previously had no hair at all, it seems to be noticeably thickening up weekly so I think one more month and no one would ever know I used to be bald! The donor area was completely healed and unnoticeable after 4 weeks.
The aftercare has also been great, I have followed the instructions and I am very happy with the results so far.
