Haute Dolci Watford Reviews 

Visited Haute Dolci in Cabot Circus for my daughter’s birthday breakfast and, unfortunately, it didn’t turn out to be the experience we hoped for. The restaurant looks beautiful online, with a very rich and decadent feel, but in person it didn’t quite match the impression the photos give.

From the moment we walked in, felt a little out of place and not entirely comfortable., but didn’t want to dampen the mood on her first visit to Cabot Circus, so we decided to stay and order. The waitress who served us was genuinely lovely and attentive, but we were getting a few glances from staff behind the counter, which affected the overall atmosphere.

The drinks were a highlight — the Biscoff milkshakes were delicious, even though they took a while to arrive. My daughter’s friend ordered the pink lemonade and was asked if she wanted it still or sparkling; she chose sparkling without realising it meant an additional charge for sparkling water on the bill.

The main issue was the food. My daughter and her friend’s breakfasts arrived at a short wait, but mine didn’t come out until they were almost finished After the delay, the meal was ‘lukewarm’ and the presentation was below expectation. I didn’t raise it, as my daughter asked me not to and I didn’t want to draw attention to it.

Would I return? No, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on our experience. It’s disappointing, especially as this was meant to be a special start to my daughter’s birthday outing. I was recommended Haute Dolci over other places for the variety of drinks and the overall “experience”, but it fell flat and didn’t live up to expectations.

I’d walked past Haute Dolci in Watford many times and always wanted to try it, so I took my mum there for a belated birthday lunch with my two children. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.

There were no physical menus (save a child’s menu), so we had scan QR codes between us. The website repeatedly crashed and loaded very slowly.

Our drinks arrived reasonably quickly, followed by my smoothie bowl around 20 minutes later. However, the other three meals never arrived. Not one member of staff checked on us or gave any explanation for the delay.

We asked where the rest of the food was and were told it would be “2–3 minutes.” Ten minutes later, we were still waiting with no update or apology.

At that point, we had been there for over an hour & decided to leave. We offered to pay for our drinks but were told, “You don’t have to pay.”

A complete waste of what should have been a special family lunch.

The place was near empty on arrival, but it was clear to the male who greeted, that staying in for a coffee was an issue.

unfortunately charing £4.40 for a cold coffee, with no sugar and no spoon or napkin is a disgrace.

The place is not well looked after, with damaged floors, broken and dangerous Sharpe tables along with left over food on seats.

Asked for a receipt when paying and the printer ' work.

The lady with long hair was very polite and excellent but overall, it was a waste of time and money.

Us and the tables next to us at the o2 London branch, had to ask “is it nearly ready”. Because we had been waiting ages. We only ordered chocolate dessert.
They also refused to give tap water.

I had a shocking experience at Haute Dolci (O2 London branch).

I visited with my friend, my 12-year-old daughter, and a 2-year-old child. We spent around £67 at this establishment, yet were treated extremely poorly.

After placing a second order for the children, we briefly stepped out while they were eating. When we returned, we found that staff had forced our children to leave the restaurant — completely unsupervised, including the 2-year-old.

This is not just poor service, it is a serious safety issue. No responsible establishment should ever send minors outside without their guardians present.

When I spoke to the manager, they justified this by saying there is a “1.5-hour limit,” which was never communicated or displayed anywhere. This explanation is completely unacceptable.

Spending this amount of money and being treated this way is outrageous. The lack of responsibility and basic care shown here is shocking. I am extremely disappointed and genuinely concerned about how this place treats families with children.

Very nice service and delicious food . Very good family gathering spot even though you can book large numbers of people as well . So yeah will be coming back again 😍

Do not go here if you are a White family.

I went in today with my wife, 1 year old and baby.

Firstly they went to seat a couple who came in after us. We were seated then a further 3/4 tables were seated after us.

After waiting for over 20mins, we were aware all other tables had been served before us.

We got up and left.

Feel racially discriminated against.

Will not be back. And hope they shut down.

The food and drinks were scrumptious. Especially the blue lagoon. My favourite! I will be coming again.
This shop has the best customer service ever.

It was a good experience but the dessert was quite expensive.However for me and my brother they brought dry ice and boiling water to make alot of smoke and this kind gesture made us very happy.4 stars
