Beautiful curtains, blinds and cushions. From start to finish both Helen and Steve were amazing. Simply hundreds of fabrics to choose from the comfort of Helens workshop. Very professional and the quality is second to none. We recently moved to the village and Helen has made curtains and blinds for almost every window. They are all stunning. 5* service, great communication throughout the whole process. Thank you both for turning our new house into a cosy home!!!

Helen Neale made all the curtains, voiles and roman blinds for my self-build house in 2019\20. Curtains included a pair that were floor to ceiling and 6m wide and voiles included a pair over 4m high. She did and excellent job, giving great advice and service despite covid. Her husband, Steve, did an equally wonderful job of installation. With our next house, Helen and Steve have just fitted a roman blind and curtains for the french doors. Brilliant quality, service and advice, as usual. They are lovely people and I wouldn't use anyone else. Looking forward to many more.

I have just had the most beautiful curtains, Roman blinds and cushions made by Helen Neale. She is a most talented lady with such attention to detail. She is so knowledgeable about curtains and blinds and has such brilliant ideas about what to have at your windows. Helen made the whole process so enjoyable I’m so happy to recommend her company. Also her fitter Steve is brilliant at what he does and didn’t leave until he was really happy with everything. All in all a great company to use if you’re looking for something exquisite and different to what you get from ready made curtains.

We have just had full length curtains, a Roman blind and pelmets made for two windows in our living room. Everything is beautifully made and finished with superb attention to detail. Helen is brilliant at working and communicating with you at every stage and her husband Steve makes a superb job of the final fitting as well as ensuring all the initial measurements are perfect. The end result exceeds our expectations, what more could you ask?!

Helen and Steve have made/fitted curtains in both our kitchen and dining room, as well as blinds. We have been very impressed. Both are very knowledgeable and take the time and effort to deliver a clients exact needs. The quality of the curtains and the installation service is second to none. Most importantly, they take a real interest/pride in what they are doing. Once you have used Helen and Steve you do not need to look elsewhere. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Outstanding customer service and quality, this is the third time we have used Helen Mary Curtains and have been given incredible customer service each time. Helen is a true professional who knows her curtains and industry she always turns up with a smile, nothing is too much trouble and she has even reupholstered a stool for us and added tabs and weights to help me hang a fabric print! She has advised us on material and the smaller details to produce a very high quality curtain or blind. This time Helen made roman blinds for our movie and music room, we are absolutely delighted with them. Steve (Helen’s lovely husband) fitted them for us and they hang beautifully. I know bespoke curtains and blinds are a little more pricey but they are an investment as they will be up (and down!) for many many years, I have bought made to measure blinds online before but they just don’t compare. I wouldn’t use anyone else now, thank you and we will be back!

Helen and Steve at Helen Mary Curtains have done several pieces of work for us over the last few years and each time we have been incredibly happy with the service and the final product and been pleased to use them again. On the first occasion, Helen advised on living room curtains for an unusual sized window and French doors and she was able to provide us with lots of samples and suggestions based on the colours and styles that we were looking at. We chose some lovely fabric and there was also enough spare leftover to make matching cushions. The curtains are well, made hang beautifully and look as good as the day they went up.

The second project we asked Helen to help with was re-covering some bedside lamp shades and Helen found the perfect colour of fabric with a great texture and they really finish off the room.

Following the construction of an extension to our house to create a home office, we again sought Helen‘s advice on what type of window covering would suit the very wide window, light airy room and meet our brief of being suitable for an office but cosy enough for a spare room. Visiting Helen’s studio, we saw some beautiful fabric with a Fenland pattern and were immediately drawn to it. Helen advised us that it would be possible to have a Roman blind made for the width of the window, dealt with all the ordering from the factory, and we are extremely happy with the result.

Finally we also asked Helen for some advice on fabrics for vertical blinds which she was able to source for us.

On all occasions, Steve has fitted the curtains and blinds for us and done an excellent job with great care and attention and in working with Helen, they have both been able to give input into styles of curtains and poles and offered other solutions and options.

It’s easy to see that Helen loves her work, and the breadth of her knowledge and the care that she takes with her customers is exceptional. It is also lovely to visit her studio as you get a great opportunity to look at the large range of fabrics she has and the projects that she has completed.

We have every intention of using this business again and highly recommend them.

Helen gave me excellent advice when choosing fabric for my bedroom, she has a flair for design and is very knowledgeable. The blinds were beautifully made and the headboard and cushions look gorgeous.

I cannot recommend Helen Mary Curtains and Blinds enough. They dressed every window in my house with top quality dressings that met my every need and requirement and I have had so many compliments on the final products.

Steve is an exceptional fitter who is also an efficient, practical, perfectionist and a great problem solver with tricky spaces.

We initially had living room curtains from Helen, and subsequently had bedroom curtains and bench cushions made. We have known Helen for over a year now and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to everyone... we're very particular so that is praise indeed!

Helen has been unbelievably patient with us from start to finish. She is so lovely but remained professional, she helped us to make decisions without forcing her opinions, we LOVE our curtains and bench cushions, and they have been installed beautifully. Steve (her husband and the fitter) is also really lovely and they both went out of their way to ensure that the curtains were perfect and we were happy with the finished look.
