I purchased a Helix Flat turtle earring for my wife as an anniversary gift in August 2025. In May of 2026, the turtle earring I purchased broke apart. We immediately emailed the company and informed them of the issue. We also provided photos of the damage. I explained that I was aware of their 30-day window for quality concerns. I also explained that I bought this product expecting the high-quality craftsmanship for which Rowan is known. Since the jewelry broke within its first year of use, it's clear that this piece had a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear and tear. To my surprise, Rowan stated that, due to the purchase timeframe, they were unable to replace the item because it fell outside the 30-day coverage window. I was told to purchase a new earring. I was not given any other choice. I was expecting savvy customer service and a fair solution to my issue. Instead, I received a cold, unempathetic response. I am hugely disappointed and will not be doing business with this company in the future.
