Hio Club Reviews

Excellent event at Turnberry, very well organised, excellent value

Very well organised event Graham and his team put a lot of effort in to getting the best deals on the best courses. And this was true at the 2 trump courses and Cruden bayGC. Thanks HIO club definitely will be returning to another event soon

Just done the Aberdeen event where we played Trump old and New as well as Cruden Bay . All fantastic courses and the 3 day event superbly ran by Graeme and Andrew. I have been going to HIO events for several years and everyone is really good value. Highly recommend a very professional run company allowing you access to superb courses at good prices .

We really enjoyed our first competition through the hio club to the 3 Aberdeenshire links courses. Everything we needed to know was communicated beforehand, the days were well organised, and we enjoyed following the leaderboards after finishing our round. It was a great way as a pair to meet and play with other golfers.
We would recommend to those that want to play top-class golf courses and enjoy the little competitive edge.

Graeme and his team do a fantastic job, whether you want to play a single event or a package I can highly recommend them

Superb, what an experience, from the top class organisation to the wow factor of TPC Sawgrass. We cannot understand why every golfer isn't a member of the hole in one club, have a hole in one and qualify for the final and possibly win a trip to the home of the Players.

From the initial £10 to join the Hole in One Club we have had amazing time taking part in their events, with our recent trip to Sawgrass being the ultimate experience! We never thought for a minute that we’d make the trip but Mick’s hole in one resulted in a place on the trip to Sawgrass and I went along as a guest. What a wonderful experience! Graeme and Andy were great hosts on this well organised event. A trip of a lifetime where we met lots of nice people. I urge anyone who loves golf to join the club, take part in their events throughout the year and you never know you may make that ‘once in a lifetime trip’ to Sawgrass.

Just back from HIO grand final Sawgrass. Wow! What an experience - Thank you so much Graeme and Andrew - you are true professionals. Your generosity and attention to detail is incredible! A trip of a lifetime! So much fun, lots of laughter and the most amazing golf experience ever.

I did a review back in April 2026 when i attend the HiO final at Siloth GC!
I can update you now, having just returned from the HiO grand final at TPC Sawgrass in USA!!
Wow! Wow! Wow!
This trip is truly a bucket list event!!
Everything is amazing!!
Flights with Virgin!
The Marriott hotel!!
TPC Sawgrass!!
The Hole in One team!!!!!

TPC Sawgrass resort is out of this world! Obviously you expect the Stadium course to be amazing and it doesn’t disappoint! The 17th and 18th holes are so much more impressive in real life. The clubhouse is off the chart and the staff clearly believe and show that customer service is their main priority!!
An extra treat is playing their second course, The Valley. This is equally as good a course but just doesn’t carry the fame or the signature holes. You’ll really enjoy that one!!

The Hole in One club is the main reason for the five star rating. Graeme and Andrew are true gentlemen! They looked after us from start to finish! Everything was expertly organised and they were instrumental to the group bonding and enjoying the trip to the highest levels that we did. Thank you both so much.

If you haven’t joined the Hole in One club yet then do it now!! £10 a year for the chance of a trip to TPC Sawgrass!!

To be clear, the process is -

1, score a hole in one during a club competition. You must have witnesses and your round must be registered in your club comp system.

2, You will then be invited to the HiO national final. The top five players and the nearest the pin winner are then awarded a ticket to TPC Sawgrass. (These winning places may be subject to change)

Points you need to know -

1, You win a single ticket to the grand final at TPC Sawgrass.
2, It is twin occupancy so if you travel on your own, you will need to pay a single supplement for a private room. Otherwise you will be sharing a room with a stranger. (Soon to be a friend!)
3, you can pay for a playing guest to join you. They play the same courses and will be your playing partner though out the trip.
4, You can pay for a non-playing guest to join you. They can shop, visit the beach or come with you to the golf resort and follow you round.
5, Food and drink are not included. Having said that, Graeme and Andrew organised a complimentary presentation evening meal, in the private Players lounge, at the clubhouse! This was top drawer!!They treated me to a couple of pints too!!!
6, Breakfast was not included with the hotel room. Although I was initially disappointed with that, on reflection, it meant i had 3 amazing breakfasts in the clubhouse and i also had a quality authentic breakfast in a diner over the road from the hotel. Great experience!!
7, you get a forecaddie on the Stadium course. It's great having an expert caddie with the group and he/she will help you and your playing partners with finding your ball, playing strategy and putting lines. Another amazing experience and well worth the $40 tip. All four players share the same caddie.

I am honoured to say that i won the HiO final at TPC Sawgrass!!! I missed the green, left, on the 17th but i did birdie the 13th!! I met some fantastic people and had an experience of a lifetime!!!

If you are worried whether the HiO club is a scam, i can assure you that the prize is real and it is awesome!!!!! Join asap and focus on the pins on your par 3s going forward!!! I know I am as i want to do it all again!!

Hopefully see you there!! 🏌🏻‍♂️🏆🇺🇸😎

Just completed the Northumberland Challenge, Roxburgh, Dunstanburgh and Goswick, 3 great courses in excellent condition and at a reasonable price. Thanks to Graeme and Andrew for making us welcome, see you next year.

Graeme and his team always make you welcome and his competitions are well run and competitive.
The courses he chooses are always a good test of golf and the prizes are fabulous

We recently entered the pairs comp at Turnberry and from the moment we enquired the team at HIO have been super efficient, courteous and friendly. The whole trip was amazing, was a great competition and great value for money. Would suggest anybody looking at any of their events book without hesitation. My friends and I are already looking at next years schedule of events.

Had a great time , highly recommended, great organisation and a real opportunity to play a golf course you could only dream about.

Just competed in this year's play off final at Silloth. What a well organised fantastic experience by HIO. Graeme and Andrew were perfect hosts. A great event, well worth joining 👌

Graeme and the team run such a tight ship. Very well organised! Super nice blokes and nothing is too much bother for them. Had a fantastic few days at Turnberry with them april 2026.

As a golfer the Hole in one club provided me with the best experience, when I won a place to stay and play at Sawgrass. The whole event was superbly organised by Graeme and Andrew from start to finish.
Many friendships were made, along with some great memories.
Best £10 I've ever spent. Many thanks.

Well organised from golfing to accommodation first class

Graeme hosted yet another tremendous event. This was our 3rd event and we’ll be scoping out options for next year. It’s great to get a group of friends together to play nice courses with the added attraction of possibly winning a prize.

Just back from a once in a lifetime trip to Sawgrass Florida hosted by Graeme & Andrew HIO what a trip you guys provided, you made us feel very special and memories to share for ever we can’t thank you enough,
Kind Regards,
Mark &Angela.

Last week in Northumbria was our second with Graeme and certainly won't be the last. From the courses chosen, faultless organisation and value for money, it made the event a sure fire winner.
