. I recently consulted with Dr.Koffler for chronic pain issues i thought were all from my knee injury but found that they were from a combination of my knee injury and related to what I was eating that was causing inflammation and pain. So far I have been I satisfied with the consultation/care I received. I didn't want a prescription for pain killers and what got me to reach was that he took a holistic approach discussed my symptoms and also what else might be causing the pain. After he reviewed my food sensitivity and DNA test with me, I realized some of the foods I was eating was one of the culprits. I recieved a personalized plan that included dietary changes, supplements, and targeted exercises. I even had a few cupping/acupuncture/massage sessions with his therapist and my pain issues were drastically reduced with the combination. He explained things to me and I will be honest, I felt like I was more in control of my health and not just the pain issues. Much Thanks to the Holistic Medical Wellness team. You guys rock!

I read a bunch about functional medicine and found Holistic medical Wellness on Google made a telehealth appointment and met with Dr. Richard Koffler. I had a 1 hour consultation, to address my fibromyalgia and frequent brain fog. I just didn't feel like myself and couldn't figure out why. I wanted to stay away from the usual pain medications and made that clear.
During the consultation, Dr. Koffler recommended a DNA test and blood work, which revealed that my testosterone levels were at 138 and I was shocked they were so low. My Vitamin D levels were low (not surprising since I work from home and rarely get sun exposure). He also gave me a bunch of tips and plans to change my diet. I am now prescribed testosterone, and he approved me for my NY marijuana card to help with the pain from fibromyalgia. He explained the reasons behind these recommendations and made me more aware of how important our health is to how we feel. I have a family and felt inclined to do my best to take care of myself and prevent future medical issues if it's possible. Dr. K cares and definitely made me feel more confident about my health and my brain fog is almost completely gone.
