Raj and his team arrived on time and loaded the required furniture quickly and carefully then transported it and unloaded it at its destination in an efficient and careful manner. They were pleasant, professional and did a wonderful job.

I have to complement the two gentleman l had on the move very punctual and professional and productive nothing was a problem l would highly recommend them

Removalists capable, well organised and efficient.

The movers came within the window of time I needed and they completed the move without creating any damage to the apartment or my belongings. They were friendly and professional.

The movers were good, able to do the job with good care for the stuff.
The office sent the wrong time to the driver for the delivery which meant my 80 year old Mother was very stressed without me there for support.

DO NOT recommend at all. I booked my move 30 days in advance. A day before the pick up they changed the time, no call or explanation, just a text! I had to call them 6 times to get them to come on time. When they came, they didnt have the proper packing material as a result our couch and mattress were not wrapped properly. After all this - they delayed the delivery by a day, again WITHOUT any information , this time not even a text. I had to call again atleast 10 times to ask about the delivery. I had to incur extra cost because of their unprofessional behaviour. Now, they refuse to reply to me or get on a call to make good of the costs that I have incurred.
Please do not use them.

Recently moved with the help of Holloway. Had an excellent experience with Martyn from management and the team Brun and Andre were very helpful and professional. I felt confident that everything was taken well care of. Honestly best price and service. Highly recommend!

My initial quote was for 1 storage unit for 1 year. Movers arrived 3 hours late and were hopeless. 1 kept taking phone calls in between me having to help due to late arrival in an apartment complex with strict timeframes so I held up other tenants. The other mover had never moved furniture before and couldn't lift anything alone. I ended up paying for 2 units for 12 months due to not packing things correctly to fit into one unit. The movers that returned my stuff were amazing. However the company has a 2 hour minimum charge which is clear however this doesn't include the travel time. I understood the 2 hours however this should have included travel also. 1.5 hours was then charged at 3 hours. I would never use or recommend this company again. The accounts staff were rude and when I pointed out the clauses were not correct they just ignored me. Bad experience overall over 12 months.

Go anywhere else. We specifically chose this company on the guarantee that they would send 3 movers with the correct equipment to move a piano between 2 apartments with stairs. They sent 2 men who were unprepared to move a piano. The piano was damaged as a result.
Although the 2 movers did their best and should be commended, the whole experience was a disaster. Holloway cannot be trusted to meet the specific requirements of a job. Don’t bother.

Our move was from Victoria to NSW and it was relatively smooth sailing from start to finish.
James was brilliant from the beginning to the end with prompt responses to enquiries and was very patient with all our questions. The Melbourne collection teams lead by Pedro and Victor were very professional and did an amazing job getting the two containers loaded. The Sydney delivery team lead by Emanuel were also very professional and unloaded the containers efficiently. Even our new next-door neighbour commented on how organised the unload was. While some minor damage to a few goods is not unexpected there were only 2 items which we requested replacements for. Two metal pegboards were bent in transit and a bbq cover had been damaged from rubbing up against something. We were very pleased to receive compensation for these items. We would highly recommend using Holloway Removals & Storage for a professional and trouble-free move.

I recently engaged Holloway for my move from Melbourne’s west to the east, and the service was exceptional. Raj and Maddi were consistently patient and highly professional throughout the entire process.

This was both a large and complex move, with several challenging items to relocate, most notably a fridge that needed to be taken upstairs through a limited space. Despite the difficulty, they managed everything with great care, and effectively removing all the stress from what could easily have been an overwhelming day.

I genuinely appreciate their effort, hard work and professionalism, and I would confidently recommend Holloway to anyone seeking a reliable and seamless moving experience.

We emptied our container last Saturday ( 29/11/2025 ).
Your employee, Sandro, was very helpful and accommodating...even making the 3 of us who arrived before our assistant friends a cup of coffee.
He is a great employee and one you should be proud of.

They are the worst moving company I have ever used. I actually paid a premium because I wanted the best service and I was told that they were the best and that they only use directly employed staff to do all of their moving jobs. I was also told that they would be quick and courteous and respect my time.

None of that happened.

Only one person arrived for the pick up. The other person arrived almost an hour later.

What should’ve been a simple two bedroom apartment move (just for me, one person) took 9 1/2 hours. and for that privilege I was charged about $2000.

The Building Manager in my building commented that they could see the men were deliberately being very slow and not fully loading the elevator to capacity like they should have so that it would take them extra time. I actually ended up recording footage of it for proof.

I reached out several times to their operations team because I was extremely concerned about elevator bookings (as I was moving into an out of a high-rise apartment, something which I had told the lady when I booked the job and I emphasised the importance of the timeframes I had booked for the elevators), but they clearly didn’t care. I also contacted their operations and customer service teams several times throughout the day because I was concerned about the time it was taking and the elevator bookings I had made I but they never did anything about it and they never even got back to me.

Instead they contacted the movers themselves who then became ruder and ruder throughout the day but never went any faster in fact I think they deliberately slowed down even more.

I lodged a complaint and I still haven’t heard back.

Stay away from these charlatans. Also it was very obvious to me that the people who were doing the moving job were indeed subcontractors they were not directly employed (which defeats the purpose and was the whole reason why I chose to use them in the first place). Do not believe them when they tell you they directly employ their movers.

Mixed bag - excellent packers, one good removalist and one very slow and unhelpful one who would have added an extra hour or so to job easily, the better removalist had to re-do things for him and double check lots of things
