We were kept well informed about the leasehold extension throughout the process, but never bombarded with emails. On our consultation call it was clear that they were familiar with not only the process but the area and the leaseholder in question. All the estimates on timescale and cost were spot on. Everything was as smooth as could be imagined.

Homehold took all the stress out of dealing with a lease extension by handling the whole process from start to finish. We were updated with progress as it happened and the cost for the service is very reasonable.

What could be improved is the time it takes to complete the process.

I came to Homehold as it was recommended by Martin Lewis. My first contact was in 2022 with Linz Darlington who scheduled an introduction call where we went through what the process would entail and how long it would take. They explained the different stages and what to expect. The work started a few months later as they didn't want to take on more cases than they could handle at the time. The fee is paid in three parts depending on which stage you're at.
My lease extension premium ended up being less than I know my neighbours had paid previously so I'm very happy about that.
I got regular updates throughout my process, even when there was no news, I got an email telling me there was no news :)
I have recommended Homehold to colleagues and friends, they made a awkward process as straightforward as is possible under the current leasehold legislation. I 100% recommend them.
Having one company coordinate everything with surveyors, lawyers etc is so much easier than trying to do it yourself.

A superb organisation. Leasehold will be abolished soon thankfully in my view, but when you are in it like 5 million of us, it's imperative you have a firm on your side, who will fight tooth and nail for you. Homehold and LLS worked incredibly hard to get me the best possible deal during my lease extension with a very difficult and unreasonable landlord. From the very beginning, Dale and his team explained what to expect and what would happen at each stage of the process.
