Scam…

Hoopla Doopla marked my cashback as paid, but no money ever arrived. They first claimed PayPal denied the payment, then changed their explanation multiple times. PayPal confirmed there was no actual payment attempt on my account. Months later, I still have not been paid. Based on my experience, this company should not mark payouts as completed unless the money has actually been sent.

This is an unreliable scamming cash back site

I used their website to make a purchase at a partner website which had 6.1% cashback. It has been 2 months and I have not received the cashback and no proper response to my complaint about the missing cashback. Other sites like Rakuten are much more reliable and responsive if things don't work as expected. This service feels more like a scam where they get people to use their referral to get money but not give the user the cashback they deserve.

STAY AWAY and use other cashback sites that arent fraudsters. EVEN if Hoopla shows higher cashback use one that is reliable. I made multiple purchases, followed the terms of the cashback and then it was reversed same day. I guarantee you Hoopla will collect the referral from the website and pocket the entire amount for themselves.

Scam

Customer service ("Frank") only replies once and then never again. I have a cashback that was approved but then they added a negative cashback for the same amount so basically stole my money. No matter how many times I reach out there is no updates. This site is a scam and impossible to contact.

They're crooks

They're crooks. Bought an expensive mattress, account showed 2% after transaction, originally said 8% on site, then the cash back transaction disappeared completely. They won't respond to email. No payment

In response to hoopa, I sent you more than ten emails with no response.

The mattress was not cancelled. It's in my bedroom. Want a pic?

Search for the email chain where your customer just called you crooks since you won't respond

Some merchants have terms and conditions, where certain items qualify for less than the base amount. These are listed on the merchants page. As for transactions "disappearing completely," this usually happens if there are returns or exchanges on the item, or order cancellations. All of our support ticket emails are typically responded to in the first 24-48 hours. If you have not received an update to your ticket, it is usually on the merchants end, as it can take weeks sometimes months for them to reply to inquiries, due to the high volume they get.

They never send your cash back.
After my purchase they conveniently removed the history of the activity from their site. They don't even respond to your emails. DO NOT USE THIS !!
I lost lot of money that I could have received from other site.

If you opened a support ticket regarding this, we are possibly still waiting for a response from the merchant. This cant take some time, as they get a high volume of inquiries.

Another try to reach HooplaDoopla

Another try to reach HooplaDoopla. Since August 1 2024 I haven't gotten any answers on my case in this system. Soon it will be 2 years. I got a very first answer where is a team member ask me to provide the details about the order. And then after a number of emails, I got a second answer (about half a year ago) that says "we are still waiting for the answer from the store".

Guys, start using emails in your team and don't use doves/couriers on horses anymore - we are in 21 century and all messages can be sent and answered immediately. But anyway, even if you send a horseman with my ticket based on the longest way by United States roads, he should have gotten an answer about half a year ago. Can you check where he lost? Probably he needs some help on his long way?

If you have not received an update to your ticket, it is usually on the merchants end, as it can take weeks sometimes months for them to reply to inquiries, due to the high volume they get. As stated in our terms and conditions, we do our best to accurately post data that is sent to us from our merchants. Our support ticket systems it to allow our members to report missing orders. Once we submit them, we send you and update once we hear from them.

No redemption or tracking problems

When I rate cashback portals, I rate them mainly on the number of tracking problems and redemption problems that I've had.

I've had zero tracking or redemption issues with HooplaDoopla.

They also have the best rates for a few of my favorite merchants. Obviously do your own research there.

Great, great disappoint

After several attempts of buying products with Hoopla activation never received a cent. Decide to close my account and this has been done fast and with the help of support. Without this support to help close my account I would give only one star.

Wish I'd read these reviews. NO PAYOUT.

Same as the other reviewers, I never got paid. As another reviewer suggested, I'm heading over to BBB, although they aren't even BBB accredited and they have an F- rating. Not worth the effort but maybe if enough of us drop their BBB standing then other victims can be saved.

UPDATE TO ADDRESS COMPANY'S "RESPONSE" - It's nothing but the same cut & paste email I keep getting from "Frank" which doesn't address the proof I've submitted to them in the form of records, screencaps and documents showing my balance cleared the minimum 107 days prior to payout.

SCAM don't use

I've used several portals over time and have earned thousands of dollars, but this one is by far the worst—if not the absolute worst. To start, their customer support is a joke. There’s a person named Frank who responds to your message once, then completely ignores any follow-up responses.

Additionally, the portal shows that payments were made to me, yet I haven't received a single cent. I've sent at least 10 messages (since they don’t respond to emails) asking for transaction IDs and the Venmo account details where payments were supposedly sent. Frank continues to play dumb and has failed to provide any useful information.

Extremely frustrating experience, and I would strongly advise against using this portal.

I see Frank communicated this with you, as well as gave you or recipient email address to check with Venmo. I will have Frank keep the ticket open until resolved. :)

Great cashback site, with superb customer service. Hoopla Is reseller friendly and works with accounts vs slamming the door without notice. Hoopla Doopla is my go to

Scam

Scam. They only pay out about 1/10th the payable cash back amount you earned. I thought this was a waiting period issue since they only pay out quarterly, however, they blatantly refused payout and kept 9/10s of earnings after almost a year. F*** them.

Hi Andrew. As stated in our Terms of Use, we pay our members quarterly the transactions in their account that have cleared 90 days since the purchase date. The rest of the money stays in your account until it has cleared another 90 days. This is a rule of the merchants we are partnered with, not us, because they monitor things like fraud, returns and exchanges, and more, which can result in the commissions paid to us being revered. Over the course of time, all the money in your account is eventually paid out to you. :)
