After reading the reviews of Horologica we gave Gordon a call regarding a problem with our wall clock. We spent a while discussing the problem on the phone and he seemed to know straight away what needed doing. He took great pains to explain the different options and cost involved and we were happy to leave the clock in his safe hands. Gordon kept us informed of progress. Absolutely brilliant service. We had a old Bulkhead clock that has been in the family for many years. Now fully repaired and keeping perfect time. The service from start to finish, was professional and the price was most reasonable. A truly excellent service.

Gordon repaired a barometer which I inherited from my parents. It had probably not worked for many years, apparently due to a poor repair in the past, which Gordon identified and fixed. A pleasure to deal with such an honest and skilled individual, a pleasant change from the current normal "customer service".!

We had a great experience at Horologica. Our clock wasn't working, Gordon was quick to reply to my messages and managed to fix it on the same day I dropped it off.
Had estimated from £50 but after looking at it turns out the battery had leaked and just needed a good clean up so only charged us £20.
Thought this was so good of him so will definitely recommend and be back with any other clocks we have.

Helped me on setting up my Congreve clock with his usual good patience and expertise. Gordon succeeded where others failed.

I was given Gordan's details by a friend who had used his service. I had been given a clock which belonged to my Grandmother and kept hold of it hoping one day to see it working again. Though there were parts needed to do this Gordon took it and was able to find parts suitable by purchasing another clock. Our little Moorcroft clock had stopped working after 18 years, a treasured possession to mark 25 years married. A speculative email to Gordon asking advice about a non-functioning mantle clock, had a quick response pointing me towards a possible cause. 5 minutes later I had a working clock. I felt I had gone from zero to expert, but it was Gordon I have to thank.
