Don’t used their service, when you sign up for theirs waste service, they offer you very good price, but after 2months they increase the charge, and another change by later, they promise no charge on exceeding weight, but they change mind and inceaseing extra charge. I ask for end my contract, they said I still in contract until May 2024, now I am looking for help from solicitors,
When I first joined the collection was set for Bi-Weekly however I was charged weekly upon challenging this they could not see the issue... Eventually they clicked and spotted I was over charged for weeks I requested the money returned however they did not want to do that and instead did not charge for the next few collections... I've recently ran into finacial issues and ran behind on the bin collection payments. They claimed I had to pay £60 in back costs which I paid just a couple of days back now, i just got an invoice saying I owe a further £40 when each collection is just £20... As I was typing this Hubba has litrally just called and explained that the way they take payments is changing so instead of taking £20 per collection they will now bill monthly for £40 for bi-weekly collections, however she did go on to say as some months are 31 days some invoices would come through as £60 which im not fully understanding as I should be charged a flat £40 for 2 collections per month.. The accounting seems a little wonky here and there or maybe im just not understanding correctly... However, I must say their customer services is top notch, I litrally cant fault the customer services at all... 4 stars for now just until things smooth out with the changes made I'll see how things go for the next couple of months and update the review... I really want to give more stars but right now im unable.
Used Hubbauk for waste disposal following major building work at residential property. Very competitive price and very helpful and friendly staff. I know the waste will be recycled responsibly which may be a concern with some recycling companies.
