You know what you eat. So why shouldn't you know exactly what you're feeding your cat? Hurayra was created around a simple idea: when it comes to our own food, we care about what's in it, where it comes from, and what we're putting into our bodies. Your cat deserves that same thought. For Muslim households, there's another question. You wouldn't knowingly bring something Haram into your home, yet some cat foods can contain ingredients such as pork or pork derivatives without making that obvious to you. That's why Hurayra is HMC Certified Halal. From source to bowl, we want you to know exactly what you're feeding your cat. No ambiguity, just food you can feel confident putting in their bowl. But Hurayra isn't only for Muslims. If you're a cat parent who cares about quality, transparency, real animal protein, and knowing what's behind the food you buy, Hurayra was made with you in mind too. Because your cat can't read the label. You can. And they rely on you to choose what's best.

My cat loves this food
My cat has just had 16 teeth removed; he's recovering well and the interesting thing is that he is choosing the Hurayra dried food (softened in water) over his usual wet pouches. It has taken about 2 years to find a food that he will eat every day so I'm very happy that it is a halal variety so my home does not have haram meat products on the shopping list.

That's exactly the reaction we hope for, purring for more is about as good a review as it gets! Thank you so much for sharing this, and for trusting us with your cats' food. It means a lot to know they're genuinely enjoying every bowl.
Warm regards,

Thank you for the honest feedback. It might help to know that Hurayra actually works out to around 66p a day on a subscription, or about 73p a day if you're buying one-off. We know it's a premium product, and that comes from real ingredients, HMC halal certification, and nutrition that's genuinely tested, not just labelled, but we also want it to feel fair and worth it day to day.
If cost is the main thing holding you back, subscribing is the easiest way to bring that down further, plus you get free delivery and the flexibility to pause or cancel anytime.
Thank you again for trying Hurayra, and for telling us honestly how you feel.

My cat loves both the chicken and tuna dry foods. She was previously having a well known pet food stores tuna based food, but she quickly went off it and started losing weight.
I’m very grateful that the Hurayrah team have created this product as it’s much needed for Muslim cat owners that don’t want to buy cat food containing haram meat, or limit their cat to a fish only diet.
The subscription arrives every month on time and the quantity fits the needs of my now 2 year old cat.

Thank you so much for sharing this, and for such a thoughtful review. Hearing that your cat not only enjoys both flavours but has actually gained her weight and appetite back genuinely means a lot to us.
You've also put into words exactly why we started Hurayra. Muslim cat owners shouldn't have to choose between what's halal and what's actually good, nutritious food for their cat, and knowing we've been able to offer that for you and your cat is exactly why we do this.
Thank you for trusting us with her care, and for being part of the Hurayra family. We're so glad she's thriving.
Warm regards,
The Hurayra Team

And insha'Allah, wet food will be in the range too; we know it's something a lot of our cat parents are looking forward to. We'll be sure to let everyone know the moment there's news.
Thank you for your patience and for being part of the Hurayra family.

Thank you so much for this, it genuinely means a lot to hear, especially when it comes to how we handle things when something goes wrong.
A big part of that comes down to our operations team, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure every issue gets sorted quickly and properly, not just brushed aside. We're really proud of the care they put into looking after our customers and their cats.
Thank you for taking the time to share this, and for trusting us to put things right when needed.

Antwoord van Hurayra Halal Pet Foods
We’re sorry to hear that you feel you’ve had a disappointing experience.
We would, however, like to clarify a couple of points for the benefit of other customers reading this review.
Hurayra is a premium-quality halal cat food, and at approximately 66p per day for three meals, we believe it offers excellent value compared with other premium brands. More than affordable!
When changing a cat’s diet, it is important that the new food is introduced gradually. A sudden change in diet can cause digestive upset, including vomiting, even when the food itself is perfectly suitable. We provide clear guidance on our website on how to transition your cat safely onto a new food. By the sounds of it you have not switched appropriately or responsibly unfortunately.
We have also been unable to locate an order matching the details provided in this review. We would therefore be very happy to investigate this further and establish exactly what happened.
Please contact us directly at hello@hurayrapetfoods.com with your order details so that we can look into this properly and provide any advice or assistance required.
We take every customer and every concern seriously, and we would always prefer the opportunity to investigate an issue directly rather than leave it unresolved.
Thank you

This made us smile. Thank you for sharing it.
It is so common for cats to take a little time with something new, and the fact that you stuck with it for those two days really paid off. Two days of patience and now a very happy cat. That is honestly the best outcome we could hope for.
We hope the bowls keep coming back empty. And if you ever need anything, we are always here.

Thank you so much, Faisal! We’re delighted to hear the cats are loving it.
We did have a little chuckle at “the cats can go without,” though… we’re guessing you meant "can’t" go without! :p But we get you.
Either way, we’re taking it as a very good sign that Hurayra has become a firm favourite in your household.
Found them on Instagram 😁
Found them on Instagram I was all 🤩🤩 "omg I need to try"....
I'm GLAD I did it hasn't even been 1 day and they're already 💩'ing better,
I have 2 cats ones 2y/o ones about 8/9 months and someone decided to clear the massive plate of tuna kibble I left 🤣🤩🥰
Customer service is excellent too, went beyond and above for me THANKYOU,
These 2 bags will definitely last a while too. I even mixed old kibble (ridiculously expensive Dr Hillman's) with the new one (hurayra's being the new) and my kitten shes ignored the old kibble to pick out the tuna-hurayra's Instead 🤣😆 which is awesome 👍🏽😁 I haven't opened the chicken one yet, but both cat's are very keen for me to open it, don't know who but they even tried to get it off a shelf to get into it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 (I came home to the unopened pack on the floor lol).
I swear they know it's HMC certified lol 😆
Jokes aside I'm glad for you guys thankyou, I was genuinely at one point when my older boy was younger stressed myself out finding cleaner cat food because the brand cat food his breeder claimed he ate.... He didn't 🤣 and that was whiskas.... Made me sick knowing how unhealthy for a cat that brand is. Anyways one less thing to worry about alhamdulliah. I genuinely cannot wait to re-order ♥️💯

It’s wonderful to know you’ve already noticed positive changes, and we’re so glad our customer service could make your experience even better. Your story and kind words truly mean so much to us. Alhamdulillah, knowing Hurayra has given you one less thing to worry about is exactly why we do what we do. 💚
We can’t wait to have you back for your next order! 🐾

Twix loves Hurayra!
Its great to have a brand that provides halal cat food as we wanted to give Twix options other than fish. So when we cam across the chicken bites we were really happy! The dried chicken bites really complements the wet food that she's currently having. She really enjoys the chicken bites too. Id really lime to start giving Twix some halal chicken in wet food form. Overall Ive been really happy with Hurayra and would highly recommend to others

We’re also excited to let you know that our halal chicken wet food is on its way, so watch this space! Thank you for supporting Hurayra and recommending us to others. 🐾
