I started off with their 24 hour free trial and then went over to a monthly subscription. As someone with no networking knowledge they made the setup super simple with clear guides on everything you would need. Haven't had any issues with downtimes or ping and I would recommend using Hyperlayer to anyone wanting to set up a server in SA.

Customer service really needs work. It took them two full days to reply to a simple support message. Their support team could learn a thing or two from their invoice department — that part runs like clockwork. Now that my invoice is due in ten days, I’m getting nonstop reminders to pay by the first of the month.

Honestly, I’d be a lot more eager to settle the bill if I knew I’d get the same speed and consistency from their customer service… or their servers.

Quick and fast, everything just works.

This is a excellent option for a quick VPS. I've not had a days downtime and the costs are second to none.

So far so good, we have not yet tested the full potential of the server but for now its going great ... The best was the teck support we got. Fully expecting that we will only be assisted the next day as it was after business hours, but one guy saw the ticket and decided to help out witch was unexpected but truly awesome.

The respone time was great and ADAM was very helpful in resolving my server issue

Incredible Server performance, I opened a support ticket and got a response within 3 minutes! Even with just 4gb of Ram, I’m able to play with 10 players and a bunch of spigot plugins without ANY problems!

Server was quick and easy get set up, no issues whilst having it running for the couple of months and whenever I had a query, support was quick to respond

Bedrock Server is running badly, contacted Support and first they blamed my internet connection, which I then had to prove is not the case, then blamed my PC, which I had to prove is not the case, then just said it can't be the server and basically ended it there. We have +6 people on the Minecraft Bedrock server, and we never experience issues until more than 3 players join. The Support agent would only claim he could not replicate the issue, barely spending ±10 minutes on the server. Also only stating that Minecraft Bedrock server do not have server debugging, which technically I pay for the same features if I had a Java server? Honestly get better support from AI guide pages than Hyper Layer support agents. Can't get a refund on a terrible server so jokes on me for wasting money.

Took a lot of time to decide which hosting service to go with. Very happy that I went with Hyperlayer. Support via discord is the best I have seen. Great service

1. The server was down on my side & I couldn’t get into Wordpress backend for 3 weeks.
2. You can never call anyone as there is no number just a support ticket system. 3. They said the problem is on my side…. I spent R5000 on a tech person to figure out…run tests and get to the place where actually everything on my side is working is 100% that it’s 100% a hosting problem.
4. I send a ticket by return email at that point because ALL backend wasn’t working including hyperlayer itself by this point… then I get a response all is sorted now the long term upstream issues have been resolved???

This was recommended by a friend but the price is crazy same with support nobody to speak to you have a discord that don't work as well as when i needed support you said there nothing wrong with there sever i never pay 1 min on the sever but paid for the service.

Great and easy to use, fast response times for support and clear instructions within the server and guides.

Not only do the servers have great compatibility with mod support and allow full modpacks to be installed with a click of a button, they then also have tons of guides that help with running the server. And when I got stuck on a few parts of installing new mods the providers gave tons of help and guided me through all of the problems I had within the same hour!
