Ian was brilliant in dealing with my case my partner was falsely arrested 12am with my 2 children asleep in the house he explained everything that was going on always in touch with updates and I ended up with a settlement from the police witch I didn't think I would get so I would highly recommend his services to anyone who needs advice and help!

I was falsely arrested for GBH at my place of work. I was 22 at the time with no previous criminal record and was arrested by 5 police officers. I was held in a cell for 10 hours for a crime I had no involvement in. I was released on bail, for the next day, to be no further actioned and told that “there was nothing they could do as I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time”.
The person I worked for at the time got me in contact with Iain.

I have just read a blog concerning police conduct and the IOPC.
It confirms with evidence my suspicions of the police complaints system and that the IOPC lack impartiality.
I have a case judged by Stephen James if FoD police.
When i sent it for review the police new & were on first name turns with the reviewer before i received a reply.
They also claimed he was independant.
As correctly identified by mr Gould the system needs changing.
Hillsborough also demonstrated that!

I contacted Iain after being arrested and locked up for eight hours by west Mercia police because my three year neighbours from hell made false allegations and statement about me. My social housing landlord Platform housing illegally moved in those drug addict neighbours breaching the over 55 rule and therefore the tenancy agreement. Police breached my immigration rights and disability rights, I am a 66 year old disabled pensioner. I was released by police without charge and no bail conditions,innocent of course. I was sent an email by Iains office two days later saying nothing more than they are too busy to help me. The police have committed malfeasance and misfeasance in public office against me and all I see is his advertisements of how much he helps victims of police. I suggest he should tone down his wonderful advertisements promising justice for the poor and marginalized because he cannot deliver. I do wonder just how many other silent victims like myself have not had the opportunity of leaving him glowing five star plus reviews ??. Update:In response to your reply Mr Gould, No I never leave one star reviews for hotels that are fully booked when I enquire..However i will leave one star reviews for companies serving the public need/services when they promise good service but fail/delivery badly !.

I went to Iain for help with a case, I was awaiting a court date and after 6 months had not received it, naively I then began thinking that the charge was dropped but contacted the police to find out more as it was weighing on my mind. That night, the police showed up and took me into custody informing me I was to be charged with evasion, I was kept in for 18 hours before being taken direct into holding cells (shared with a man covered in blood)!

It’s making me put a date on ‘my experience’ but I have been reading his articles for many years.

So Iain represented me for an unlawful arrest case where the police came and wrongfully arrested me due to not knowing how to do their job properly at 2.30am one morning and woke my kids up and removed them from the property and took them somewhere they clearly said they didn't want to go to. Given the importance of this subject and its relevance to everyone who owns a smartphone, i.e. nearly everyone, the article on S19 PACE should be required reading for everyone! The police indifference to, ignorance about, and abuse of the law requires knowledge to combat it. I say this as a retired police officer. Mr Gould has done a public service by circulating this blog.

Iain Gould is well experienced in legislation and beyond to fight against corrupt PC's ,,= bad apples , some good apples but fear of recuptions , then become bad apples = Scopophobia = perception
