I was very fortunate to be recommended to Ben Small by my estate agent in France. He has a unique edge in having knowledge of French property law and procedures as well as foreign exchange expertise. The account opening was relatively straight word and the transaction was well documented and transparent, as well as getting a keen exchange rate not far from the market level. I obviously did due diligence before the transaction to ensure that his company was legitimate and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The phone calls were from traceable landlines which was also reassuring. Ben works with notaires and estate agents alike so is very well placed to take the stress out of conducting business overseas.
