The week I spent with Steven and Rupi was so unbelievably beautiful and transformative. I couldn’t imagine more attentive, authentic and caring facilitators. I am 100% satisfied with the decision I made to choose them. I hope to one day attend another retreat with them.

It has been a life-changing experience for me in a positive way. Taking this step is a big one, but thanks to the incredible guidance of Rupi and Steven, I felt so comfortable and safe that it became one of the best experiences of my life.

It is difficult to find the right words to describe what Rupi and Steven have done for me, but they radiate so much calmness and love—something I have never seen in others before. I will be forever grateful to them and will never forget them.

I notice that I have struggled to write this review as I feel a desire to give Rupi and Steven the generosity they richly deserve.

To partake in this process, this path, the necessary work, is to step outside ourselves and the stories we have continued to repeat. To do so is a real act of (loving) foolishness/courage and it certainly requires a deep trust towards those who are facilitating.

To get to the heart of the matter. Rupi and Steven have earned my sincere trust, something I do not give away lightly. This is the highest praise my body and heart have. Their immense love and care for me and everyone else on the retreat was a precious gift as well as teaching for myself.

I have come away not feeling as though I have been transported outside of who I was before hand. On the contrary, I feel as if I have moved closer to myself. The emotions I remember from before are still there, still taking a seat at the table. The difference is they feel like mine now. I have Rupi, Steven, and the spirit of the medicine to thank for that.

Unspeakably powerful and anything beyond my imagination. I've done a lot of healing and self exploration, but nothing comes close to what I had the honor to experience with Rupi, Steven and Iboga. From the first hello, until now - one month after the ceremony itself - I felt held, deeply cared for, loved, seen, warmed by Rupi and Steven. The whole experience was more than perfect. Steven and Rupi were the highlights of the whole experience and then the rest was also exceptional. The chef made amazing food everyday and the house was so comfortable and had a great energy. I highly recommend this to everyone. Steven and Rupi and experts and also super funny and made the whole experience extra fun and special.

I chose Iboga medicine because of Rupi and Stevens in depth knowledge and practice. They are fantastic facilitators and know the medicine. I had been suffering with cptsd, anxiety and depression and some alcohol dependency. Iboga has got me on the path to my new normal. Cannot recommend highly enough. Plus the food and setting in Portugal were perfect.

They're very nice people, friendly and warm, yet clearly very experienced. They are humble but knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

My Iboga ceremony has just ended...
I want to express my deepest gratitude to Steven and Rupi for the seven days we spent together. It was a very profound experience, unlike anything I have ever known. An experience that forced me to be completely honest with myself. To see all my traumas, fears, and pains. To understand that all of this is in the past and that a truly beautiful future lies ahead.

From the very beginning, as soon as I arrived, I felt that I was in a safe place, with the right people. From the moment we met until the moment we said goodbye, our small group was surrounded by attention, love, and care. To be honest, I can’t even remember the last time I felt this way. Probably only in my childhood.

The great professionalism and deep knowledge of Steven and Rupi made the ceremony and the integration of everything that was received happen in the most comfortable, safe, and understanding environment. They were always there — in moments of deep sadness and in moments of uncontrollable joy, when nothing made sense and when there was a strong desire to share what had been seen and understood.

Honestly, I cannot imagine going to anyone else for such a ceremony. And if one day I choose to repeat this incredible experience, or if someone asks me for advice, the only people I would recommend without the slightest doubt are Rupi and Steven.

I had my first Iboga ceremony with Rupi and Steven about 3 years ago. Since then, my life has changed completely, which I'm so grateful for. That's why I decided to return for another ceremony after all these years - I trust them and the medicine that much.

Iboga the healer / Iboga the teacher

This was my second time at Ibogamedicine.

The first time I had experienced great healing and the cabability to let go, this time I realised my purose and meaning.

In this, my year of Iboga I have found, inner peace, healing and done more “growing up” than I ever thought possible.

I am forever gratefull to Rupi and Steven for creating such a safe and wonderfull space and for truly caring.

Iboga is an amazing substance that allows you to see inside your own mind, and then beyond, to a new reality. I have been to two different Iboga retreats, and Iboga Medicine was my first.

What I liked about this retreat is that the room my husband and I was given was great, there was plenty of food available at all times and the setting was rural and quiet. The garden is nice and there’s an opportunity to walk to the sea.

The ceremonies felt well held and I felt safe within the space. Rupi was also gentle and kind when I experienced ataxia and needed her help to go to the toilet and so on.

I recommend this retreat, especially to people with a history of sexual trauma, as Iboga Medicine seems to have a lot of expertise in this area.

And I particularly LOVED the fireside stories that Steven and Rupi told the group before the start of each ceremony. Their story-telling skills are second to none, and I resonated so much with what I heard.

Words cannot truly explain the incredible journey and deep healing I’ve experienced through iboga medicine. I’ve had the privilege of being treated by Rupi and Steven a couple of times, and each experience has been profoundly transformative. Their care, wisdom, and genuine compassion created a space where I felt completely safe, supported, and seen.
