My experience with Robbie Janes has been excellent. He is a great asset to iCabbi. I was honestly about to leave due to an ongoing fault that other iCabbi staff were unable to resolve, which was pushing me away. However, after speaking with Robbie, everything changed, we had been waiting around 10 days for a BT engineer to resolve the issue between iCabbi and BT, yet Robbie managed to sort it out within just a few minutes. That alone shows his expertise and efficiency, Robbie has been consistently professional, responsive, and extremely patient throughout all of our phone calls. He always calls back promptly and clearly explains everything, especially regarding the TAPI-related coordination.
He listens carefully to my concerns, logs into our system properly, and makes sure everything is completed correctly,his support has genuinely made the process much smoother for our team. After he resolved the problem,l could see the smiles on my staff's faces. It's rare to find someone as dedicated and reliable as Robbie, Thank you, Robbie, for your outstanding support. It is very much appreciated by me and all of my staffs.

iCabby software failure
In months past, the Beck/iCabby App on my Samsung S21 stopped online processing when made with one of my credit cards, even though the card worked fine with in-car card payments made by the cab driver. At first, I switched to in-car card payments which work, then switched the App’s preferred payment method to the credit card of a different bank.
That worked, until there was a iCabby security breach resulting in a fraudulent charge of over $500 which was intercepted by my Bank. This resulted in the bank cancelling my card, so I had to have a new card issued.
After activating the new card, it worked in all applications except in the iCabby/Beck App. I now have two credit cards, both of which work for in-car Beck payments …but both fail when using the iCabby/Beck App.
Avoid at any cost!

I am a driver & since we went with icabbie I am now losing money. It supposed to recognize where driver is clearing & time after time I have to tell customer “I am sorry I cannot pick you up someone else’s was sent”. Even though I cleared there. Cannot check balance throughout the night as it turns over @ midnight. Now let’s talk about the distracted driving app. Here in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada we call them follow ons. The system starts giving other trips even though you r on a trip. & as you r trying to turn it off it just keeps giving trips over & over again. This is why the accidents. It is also why customers are having to wait as a driver may have accepted the follow on & now the driver that is clear & could pick them up doesn’t get the trip. In the province of Ontario it is over 500 dollar fine if caught on cell phone while driving. So why are the customers able to call us. Can’t answer the phone. I had to block our own companies phone number.

Just Avoid!!!
This morning, I couldn't login to the system via my mobile internet but I managed to login via WiFi connection. I called the customer service and they said can't help and advised me to contact to my taxi company's helpdesk. Now, I pay subscription to my taxi company but I can't get any job because of icabbi.

Worst then the worst I was warned to stay away an I made the mistake on going with them absolutely useless of a app drivers have to use there phones and have to pull in to use it u can’t delete runs of it that no longer doing sign u up for a long term contract even tho u have paid the £600 up front it’s mad just read the review they haven’t got anything past 2 says it all..
please don’t make the same mistake I did!!!!

Can't sign up
If you're a taxi company don't use this service.
As an end user I can't even sign up to any taxi company's app in my city! The apps all just fail with the mysterious error "Sorry something went wrong".
I emailed iCabbi two weeks ago but they haven't even replied.
If you use iCabbi you could be losing customers and not even know it.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
An awful awful awful system. From the drivers, operators and customers it’s a total failure. Our taxi company has recently installed it and it fails on EVERY aspect. Sadly it doesn’t do what is required for a smooth operation. Desperately hoping we go back to the previous system…

TO BE OR NOT TO BE WITH THE RIGHT APP.
I have been at our game (taxi driver. owner/operator), for over 20 years, through four companies, all bought up, through expansion, And the latest company, moved to Icabbie, about a year ago, seemed ok to begin with, bit glitchy here and there, but had good potential, Until their latest update, every time a hire appears, Google map appears in the background, and starts giving you instructions on where to go, and when you try and turn that off, just kicks back in again, no matter what, checking settings, on app, or background instructions on app, or even going to Google maps, and change setting, it still kicks back in again, Also since upgrade, there is suddenly supposed black spots, where system cannot receive a signal, of which has resulted, in first losing hires, secondly in not being able to receive them, thirdly, i popped a hire on last night, And it was like a grey image, with white line rolling across it, (What do you do with that when, you are driving,, And expecting another hire), No sorry, One dose believe, This system needs a lot more upgrade work, Before it is fit for purpose.

As a retired IT professional and a now…
As a retired IT professional and a now part time taxi driver, it really frustrates and disappoints me to relate that in my opinion, this application (app) is not fit for purpose from a driver perspective - the ACTUAL end user of this solution! Whilst I fully support technology and it's place in improving processes and I can see the advantage for Taxi Companies, from a driver perspective, it is truly awful. Drivers will quickly learn where the mobile network coverage in their patch is good and where it is frequently less than good. The app constantly complains of losing connectivity, and when it does, drivers have anything from dreadfully laggy performance to full blown hanging/lock out requiring a restart of the app, generally putting you back to the end of any waiting queue for hires - on quiet days, you wait some time for a hire to come through and when it does, only then do you realise that your app has less than perfect connection and it has hung, meaning you cannot accept the job allocated to you - and so begins another period of waiting... Every day i work, i get the same old story from customers who dislike or will not use the app as well. Problems of inaccurate reporting of when their taxi will arrive, especially with multi-pick up/drop off jobs, where the customer has no visibility of their taxi after the first pick up location! I am worn out listening to customer negativity - from those who will not use my company again to those who just give up with the app and go back to phone calls, which is the polar opposite of the progressive streamlining which would improve the process for the business, the drivers and the customers. Currently the only beneficiaries of iCabbi appear to be the business owners and managers, who have accountability, visibility, transparency and audit of their business, but the actual end users, the drivers and the customers, are collectively at the end of their tethers. This is not an unrecoverable situation, however improvement is not on the immediate radar as iCabbi choose only to engage with the business owners and managers and do not seem to engage with any of the end users, if my own experience and that of the many other drivers I've spoken with, is representative. Drivers, do yourself a favour and avoid the additional stress by going to a company who do not use iCabbi - that is what the customers appear to be doing!

The majority of icabbie users are…
The majority of icabbie users are drivers, yet the concept and design suggests that the app has been marketed for the profitability of a taxi company, good for a tax company but at the expense of the majority of end users, the drivers having to face the customer when app has not met the expectations of the customer. How many drivers were consulted on the design and needs for this App? Also please add that IT IS AN OFFENCE TO OPERATE THE APP ON YOUR PHONE WHILST DRIVING. Thank you

I put a request for a trip few hours in…
I put a request for a trip few hours in advance to go to train station. They confirmed my trip. 20 minutes after the requested time they informed me that they could not find a driver for the trip. I missed the train. The confirmation did not mean anything.
Worse than useless!
As a customer of Glasgo cabs - I installed the app and just get a spinning wheel of death after submitting my phone number. No choice but to uninstall it. Worse than useless!
