I trained with step in Ireland and had…

I trained with step in Ireland and had the best day , I’ve been a stylist for 25 years and never have I done a course and left with so much info on the day and then to also be added to a group chat and a link to all the info on line , this was 100% the best course I’ve done over all my years in hair fitting. Step her self was lovely , down to earth and made me feel at ease , she has a lovely way about her . I can’t wait to book my next course x

This experience can be life changing

I travel 2hrs every 4/5 weeks to have my hair
Looked after by Steph’s team!!!! These guys are 10/10. Gee gave me the confidence to hold my head up high.
Gracie did my hair today while Gee was having a well deserved break. May I say Gracie went above and beyond whilst not feeling 100% to look after me. This is the sort of salon you’re walking into. I would totally recommend.

Unprofessional, untrained 'hairdressers'

Unprofessional, untrained people. Had to go back numerous times to get my hair fixed as it was awful. Hardly any of them, including the boss Steph are hairdressers at all. No one could colour or cut hair and had to rely on someone who could actually do this when they were in, so walked around with a headband on for over a week as it looked ridiculous!

This salon is exceptional

This salon is exceptional.

Androgenic Alopecia girl here, who’s not has long hair since she was four years old.

The dream was to have long dark hair, but I never thought it would be possible, until
I met Steph and the team at Iconic F*ckin Hair and was introduced to the Iconic Hair System.

After A LOT of questions, panicking, unable to make decisions, which Steph navigated me through, I finally have the hair I always wanted.

And even after a hiccup with the hair, Steph rectified the issue immediately and was so professional.

EVERYONE at this salon are kind, caring and knowledgable their trade. They have restored my confidence and identity.

Stay away, bullies and liars!!

Do not recommend this salon at all, the owner is a bully!! We went to the salon on Wednesday for a consultation then they sent a message that they will not provide service after we left happily. After my daughter done a review, she published a statement full of lies on the social media pages to cover up one bad review. The owner Stephanie is continuing to bully over social media with her clients and messaging the hairdressing sector so that no one gives my daughter service. We have reported her to the police and they are investigating. Stephanie thinks we want to come back there but we definitely don’t we’re just sticking up for ourselves after false allegations have been made against us.

Reply: Obviously it’s not going to make sense because the reality of what happened has been dramatised and become a fictional narrative in your head! We left your salon happily but I’m not sure whether you’re even aware of that? Your reply of ‘This doesn’t even make sense but ok!’ is very professional isn’t it. Also replying back to your clients comments gossiping is extra professional! Last note, if you weren’t lying why would you delete the comments and block us from social media?

Whoever is replying back to the reviews must be on planet mars they obviously don’t have any clue to who goes in and out the salon. I visited your salon with my daughter :D

Accused and bullied

Vile vile salon with a big boss lady that thinks she owns the whole of the hair industry but she only owns a salon in POTTYborough! After months of research I went to this salon with big hopes and I left the consultation very positive with the intention of booking in for the mesh integration. I went with my mum we travelled a total journey of 3 hours to get there. Fews hours later after my consultation I was messaged by the business account saying they won't be booking any future appointments with me they accused me and my mum of approaching actively working stylists and not leaving the consultation room when asked to leave. They also complained about how the 45 minute consultation stretched to 2 hours 20 mins blaming us for this when it's down to their stylists to direct their consultations and achieve what they need to within that timeframe to then eventually send the client away. It was a lot of information to take in and not once did I even get to look at the time on my phone. If we was politely asked to leave the room then we're respectable people to be able to akmowledge that! This was a consultation with a £30 non-refundable fee I've been to so many free consultations which have gone over the timeframe but I've never been been banned for that reason this is absurd!

The consultation was with Mia an inexperienced stylist who started newly she obviously wasn't capable of carrying out the consultation which is the reason why she called another stylist to come and write the prices down for us. I was set with the mesh integration just stuck between the two colour options then Mia recommended the mono topper which confused me. We asked to see a client having the mesh integration done a client gave permission and we was escorted over to the client who was happy to talk. Another stylist came into the room explaining her life story how she wil be doing a training programme with the intention of renting a chair out in a London salon where she is hoping to offer the mesh service herself. We even praised the owner Stephanie about what she's built and the training programmes she's offering we was very impressed how she's saving so many people's lives that are suffering with hair loss.

As we left the salon we thanked all the girls for being so lovely and patient, I left feeling like Iconic is going to save my life with the intention of booking in for the mesh integration. So when I received the message from the business account I felt like I had physically been slapped in the face.

Both the business account and the owner Stephanie have blocked me. The business account refused to no longer liaise regarding this matter. Never in my life have I seen a business turn a client away like this after a number of accusations. I believe that Mia lied to her boss in order to save her back either that or this salon is discriminating this is a complete and utter disgrace and definitely not the way to treat someone suffering from hair loss!

Since then the Iconic business page released a statement full of false allegations [again] and they’ve started a campaign with their clients ganging up and bullying. Stephanie has given my name to her fellow contacts in the industry to refuse service to me, she’s also replying back to all the clients adding on even more false allegations making it a subject for gossiping. Stephanie you’re more than welcome to go to the police there’s no abuse or threatening words in my messages. If the police decide to look into it then they will demand CCTV footage at least that way I’ll be proven inmocent you can’t just accuse people without evidence what world do you actually live in??!!

We are extremely disappointed to read this review, especially given how much time, respect and care was shown to you during your 30-minute consultation — which ultimately extended to over 2 hours and 20 minutes, despite the team repeatedly advising you to leave, take some time to think, and return if you wished to proceed.

Your behaviour during and after your visit left multiple members of staff and even clients feeling uncomfortable and intimidated. You approached team members individually as you were leaving, outstaying your welcome and ignoring our boundaries.

Following your visit, you then contacted staff through their personal social media accounts with unkind and inappropriate messages, which is completely unacceptable. You have also encouraged friends and family to post reviews and messages on your behalf — this is considered harassment, not feedback.

You originally posted this review, removed it, and have now reposted it again. We have already wished you well and made our position clear:
We will not provide services to anyone who attempts to bully or intimidate our team.

Your actions have contributed to one of our stylists needing to take time off sick due to stress, and you have also contacted some of our clients, who have forwarded us screenshots of your messages.

As a professional business, we reserve the right to refuse service when behaviour crosses boundaries, impacts staff wellbeing, or creates an unsafe environment.

We now ask that you stop contacting our staff, clients, and business, and move on. All further harassment will be logged and handled appropriately.

We wish you well, but our decision is final.

Training

I trained one to one with Steph at iconic and what a great experience. You can tell that the whole team including the trainees are dedicated to helping anyone experiencing hair loss. The salon was welcoming and friendly and I have since sent clients their way when I can’t help them myself. Great experience for clients and professionals training.

Do not recommend this salon at all, bullies!!! AVOID!!!

False accusations have made by them and they are bullying through social media just to cover up one bad review. After your statement and comments replying to your ‘fans’, you have proven what an unprofessional place you are by writing false accusations to manipulate your ‘fans’ to gang up and bully an individual which you have achieved, how disgraceful.

There are always two sides to every story; you would assume that they were told to leave but refused and then eventually left on very bad terms. Although, this is not the case. If there is any CCTV feel free to publish this, you don’t need audio to prove this as you can understand what happened if anything did happen by observing everyone’s body language and facial expressions. An hour or so after leaving, a message was received that they would not be able to give service.

1. If a consultation is only 30 minutes strictly then you inform the client that the consultation needs to come to an end. It is not the clients responsibility to make sure that they don’t go over time this is the responsibility of the staff but they were informed m that there is no problem if we go over time and that it was fine so no rush was made for the consultation to end.
2. According to the comments by them, apparently it was said that “£30 was paid so we can stay as much as we like”. Complete utter lie as no one even informed them to leave! In the messages over IG, they were accused of running over time and not respecting the time by leaving within 30 mins so it was mentioned that they have been to free consultations where time was not restricted previously.
3. They were seen by a new starter who was not fully experienced so many things were not clearly explained and several times the girl had to go out the room to get information from the other stylists. Again, this is not the responsibility of the client.
4. At no point did they go over to the clients or stylists with their own minds, they were taken over by another stylist to speak to them and they happily engaged. If anyone did not want to engage (including clients) they would have said themselves as everyone has a mouth of their own. Also, it is a free country so anyone can speak to anyone. Is there such rules that you are not allowed to speak to the stylists or clients in a salon, where do we live in Mars?
5. You mention that fake accounts have been made to comment on your pages, prove it? As you mention you have a screenshot of the google review so you must have the screenshots of the fake accounts with the comments. Publish it if it’s true!
6. In your comments, you write “for one person who isn’t right in the head to do that”. You have a business to help women that suffer from hair loss, what a unthoughtful and disgusting comment!! On top of this, you are spreading the name for no one to give her service because of your false accusations. This is nasty.
7. A client was reached out on IG previously just to get an opinion on as she tagged in the reel. Free country! Is it against the law to message people? If that person felt uncomfortable they would have said they don’t want to talk but they happily messaged back and gave advice. In your comments you are trying to paint a Picasso portrait that they have harassed people.

Most importantly. You were apparently expecting it from the lead up to booking the appointment according to your comments on IG? Oh just because several questions were asked and it took a few months to get the courage to book an appointment. Confidence is completely down as many ways have been tried previously but didn’t work so it is pretty normal to hesitate. Your salon should be even more patient and understanding with your clients as your main clients are suffering from hair loss but you are the complete opposite. You are the most inconsiderate salon and I would not recommend to anyone. If you are suffering from hair loss, I would completely avoid as they have no patience with their clients they want you to decide on the spot.

Absolutely made up with my hair

Absolutely made up with my hair! 1st ever visit to the salon. I travelled nearly 2hrs as i had seen previous work. Steph did not disappoint. Steph uses some form of witchcraft! She’s a hair genius!

Bad hair day!

I have been to this salon a few times and have had blonde highlights and hair extensions here in the past which have been good. Unfortunately everyone has there off day and today was one of those days for Jess. I didn’t receive anything close to the inspo pics. I get that lighting can make hair look different but not this much. Unfortunately I did not say anything while at the salon, which I should have but I was too shocked. However I did message about an hour after. Jess has offered to correct it but I do not wish to make another trip (45 mins each way) for this, nor do I have faith that Jess will be able to correct it. I did ask for a partial refund so she wasnt massively out of pocket but she refused. I am now £130 out of pocket and need to get my hair sorted elsewhere as i don’t want to risk going back!
