We have used Illusion Fireworks twice as the finale to our end of school year Proms. The fireworks were magnificent, and beautifully timed to the music. We will use them again. Trinity School of John Whitgift TPA

Illusion Fireworks did an amazing display for my son’s school prom. It was only their cheapest package due to budget restrictions but they still travelled over 60miles to start a display at 10.30pm. The venue who do a lot of weddings recommended them to me as they knew they’d provide a really good service, keep neighbours happy and clean up after the display really well. I’d highly recommend.

By far the best fireworks company out there... we have used them a number of times and they have always overdelivered!

We were blown away with the firework display last weekend. They went off perfectly in time with the music and everyone was talking about it after. They played two songs. We saw them setting up and they appeared to be very organised and kept everyone safe.

My son and daughter-in-law wedding illusions fireworks were amazing , the music chosen to the fireworks every minute was worth the money, over 80 guest they all congratulate him on this amazing night, this is the company to have any special fireworks, for any occasion, well done to all involved

Such a-shame there is a few negative reviews because that’s not the experience myself and my family had We attended a family wedding over the bank holiday weekend. The Groom had organised fireworks for the bride and all the guest for the evening. Personally I loved it. It’s one of the best displays I’ve seen I have to say. I was impressed also by the length of the display and the display itself was very professional. What an amazing added touch of luxury to what was an already amazing day. If anyone having a wedding wanted fireworks as a treat you won’t be disappointed here.

We attended our friends wedding at the weekend and as a surprise for their guests they had organised a firework display.
Well, when we found out at 9:30pm when we were all told to go outside, we were thinking.... ok, this should be good. Well all i can say is it was!! We have never witnessed a firework display like it in our lives. I haven't a clue what it costed but what ever it was, was money well spent in my opinion.
These are memories that last a lifetime.

My new husband wanted fireworks at our wedding and so he chose Illusion Fireworks due to it being a local company to us.
I’m not normally into all of this, take it or leave it kind of attitude with firework displays.
Well…let me tell you…. My perception has totally changed. What an amazing display Karl and his team done for us. We had a display to music (2 songs) and It was actually very emotional to watch and we both had tears while watching it.
All of our guests said that they have never seen anything like it before and neither have we. AMAZING!

In a word…WOW!
We hired Illusion fireworks for some evening entertainment for our wedding and what we ended up with was every single guest absolutely blown away by the display. (We were also by the way).
We opted for a 2 song pyromusic display and from our initial enquiry through to booking, making payment and then the actual display itself, Karl and the team have been perfect, responsive and above all else, totally professional in every way imaginable.
We wanted to make some changes to out booking a month or so before and these requests were dealt with immediately.

If you’re after a private display that will blow you away then these guys will not disappoint.

As others have stated, xplosive events and illusion fireworks have been misleading others and people have said they are sister companies?
Personally received very disgusting customer service responses. I would never attend another event from either, as I feel truly ripped off with not so much as a professional apology.
The event I had attended had the main event cut significantly short, upsold services were unavailable and the "funfair" was amateur at best, not at all as advertised.

A total disaster.

Xplosive events and illusion fireworks are owned by the same person despite their response to a past reviewer. They have linked illusion fireworks as their trust pilot link due to low ratings for their other company.

6.8.22-A shockingly overpriced funfair with awful food.
Repetitive and seriously underwhelming shows apart from the planes which were miles away and could have been seen for free without entering this place!
Several hours of waiting to watch the ‘balloon extravaganza’ which they knew wasn’t going to happen but never announced anything to prevent everyone leaving.
We waited until our two young children couldn’t stay awake any longer, feeling so upset that we had wasted a whole day of our precious holiday.
The normal and courteous thing to do is apologise but instead they are blocking and deleting messages on their social media and ignoring peoples emails.
If that’s not a con I don’t know what is!

Wrong trust pilot account from Xplosive Events website. ‘Xplosive events’ is actually rated ‘poor’. Don’t hide it!

Sussex Balloon Extravaganza:
1 star is being generous. Overpriced food and rides, poor amateur acts and NO BALLOONS flew in the afternoon despite it being a calm and sunny day. A disappointing waste of money and time for my family and ultimately felt conned as I read so many others did. I will be asking for my money back.

Don't Go!!! Such a money wasting event.
Sussex Balloon & Action Extravaganza is the worst event I ever go in my entire life.
where is the ballon Fly-out? how dare you charge £21 per head and £3.03 for the parking.
such a boring fun fair and cost so much for everything.

Through no fault of their own, we had a faulty firework. Without so much as a quibble, Karl and the team replaced - literally delivered to the door! I will use Illusion Fireworks again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend for special events etc etc. Thanks Karl!

I cannot speak highly enough of Illusion Fireworks, having moved our wedding date 3 times due to COVID Karl was always happy to accomodate and be ready to go when needed. On the day of the wedding his team were there hours before the display setting up and then eventually set off the most incredible musical firework display. All our guests were amazed, my wife and I loved it and both say it was the best part of our wedding. Incredible. Would recommend to anyone, it will make your wedding so unique.

A month ago as part of our son's wedding celebrations we had an fantastic firework display. Our son was keen to use Illusion Fireworks as he knew how good they are, but even so we were amazed by the spectacular display, which was a real highlight of the evening. It was very professionally organised and was a thrilling highlight to the evening.

What an amazing event. Everything was well sign posted, staff were very friendly and helpful and the fireworks to music were spectacular. I will definitely be going to more of these events in the future.
