Pros
-Paycheck was OK, but the bonus ended up being a bait and switch.
-There are a few good folks that work there.
-It's pretty easy going once you realize and accept that it's not what you thought it would be and that it's a great place to make some really easy money while you travel, figure it out as you go, learn new stuff in an environment without change controls, watch Tik Toks all day, or even earn simultaneous salaries.
-This is rock bottom, so you can only go up from here.
Cons
-The CEO is in fact a liar. I have to agree with the other posts, which were also good for a laugh. He will tell you what he thinks you want to hear. He seems charismatic at first but it's easy to lose respect for him after a few conversations. His eyes are brown. You know what I mean.
-There is nowhere to go if you're in IT. It doesn't matter what your background or job title is or what understanding you developed with the hiring manager; you will be a general purpose technician and will not be given the support or resources to do your actual job to your satisfaction. You will be micro-managed. There is no strategy, because there are no strategists. There is no leadership, because there are no leaders. There is no future for you here because there is no one who can envision the future of the department and execute a plan to get there, nor is there anyone who knows how to hire such a person, much less develop one. You can take that straight to the bank.
-Leadership skills appear to be optional for most roles that should require them. In any department, not just IT, you will in all likelihood become part of some new manager's "fake it until you make it" leadership experiment. This is the proximate cause for most of the constant turnover.
-If you are a high performer with a growth mindset, you will quickly burn out on boredom, frustration, and skill degradation, if you don't take action.
-Imagen will ultimately fail and be swallowed by a real DSO when Rezwan runs out of friends and family to borrow money from.
