Pippa is an excellent PT. In four months I’m stronger, more confident with weights, and my mindset around training has completely changed. She’s firm but fair, keeps sessions personal even in a group, and genuinely cares about your progress. Suitable for all levels.
Great small group PT sessions
Since starting group training sessions last November my confidence has grown enormously so much so that I can now go into any gym on my own and feel happy to do a workout, something that I’d never previously been able to do. The sessions are very well structured and varied and most importantly Pippa’s attention to detail with form and progression with each individual person in the group is excellent. I now look forward to exercise and can see the changes this has made to the way I look and feel about myself. Pippa always manages to make the sessions really varied, enjoyable and fun and I wholly recommend her to anyone considering PT or group sessions

At 65 I never imagined I’d look forward to circuit training- let alone enjoy lifting weights- but training with Pippa has completely changed my perspective. Her small- group sessions strike the perfect balance of challenge and support. Every workout is tailored to my abilities and I’m constantly surprised by what I can achieve.
What truly sets Pippa apart is her endless patience to keep reminding me about form that protects me from injury. She takes time to explain exercises and adjusts when needed. I feel stronger, more confident and healthier than I have in years.
Joining the small group training has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my well being. I can’t recommend Pippa highly enough plus it’s great fun!
Outstanding PT
I began my health and fitness journey with Pippa in April, and over the past few months, I've been on a transformative path. I have been losing weight slowly and steadily, and finally fitting back into clothes I haven’t worn in years. My confidence in the gym has grown tremendously, and I’ve experienced significant improvements in my strength and fitness levels.
I live with a long term health condition, and Pippa has skillfully tailored my workouts to accommodate my needs, allowing me to progress without worsening my condition.
Pippa’s knowledge of nutrition and weight training is outstanding, empowering me to make informed choices that fit my lifestyle and don’t make me feel restricted. She’s relatable and provides practical advice that has equipped me with essential skills to maintain my progress. Highly recommend Pippa’s classes whether you are new to training or a seasoned gym goer. There is infinite variety and friendly supportive challenge and encouragement which has meant I have massively increased my strength and improved my form since starting….And for me there is something magical about training outside whatever the season
I always leave Pippas classes with a smile on my face
I really enjoy Pippas classes - hard work but fun and I always leave with a smile on my face! The spirit of community is captured in the workouts, everybody is supportive of each other and friendly. The team warm ups and games are one of my favourite parts of Pippa’s classes - she does a great job at providing a safe space to work out and is a fabulous PT that really knows her stuff. 5 stars for sure ⭐
A Welcoming and Effective Fitness Class
I really enjoy attending Pippa’s classes each week. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, which makes it easy to settle in, and the sessions are always varied and fun. I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my fitness since starting, and it’s a great way to stay active in a supportive environment. Would definitely recommend giving it a try!
Supportive, Tailored, and Effective
I’ve been training with Pippa for a little over 5 months now, and I’m feeling so much more confident in my body. I wore shorts today for the first time in a couple of years and my arms are feeling much stronger and looking more toned - people have actually commented on them.
I enjoy my sessions – the environment is always friendly, and Pippa is great: really personable, non-judgemental, very supportive, and pushes me which I need! I do love that everything is tailored to suit me & personal fitness goals and that it goes at my pace.
Pippa offers helpful nutrition advice, especially around how much protein to be eating and easy ways to get more of it into your daily routine. It’s made a huge difference for me and I’m grateful to have Pippa in my life! Thank you. :-)
I started doing Pippa’s circuits…
I started doing Pippa’s circuits classes at the end of last summer and I now can’t imagine my week without them. I never ever thought I’d enjoy exercise like this and put off joining for many months (years…) convinced I would not be able to do it and would embarrass myself. I am now fully converted, will turn out rain or shine and love the feeling of success after each session. My strength and fitness have improved massively. The classes are fun and always different every session. Everyone who attends is welcoming and as you work at your own pace and level you don’t need to worry about “keeping up” with anyone. Pippa is really supportive and encouraging, pushing you to do more and ensuring you are working safely and correctly.

Pippa’s classes are the highlight of my week! I have a new found love for exercise that I didn’t have before, and can feel myself getting stronger and fitter each week. The group classes are so much fun and everyone is so friendly. Pippa made me feel so welcome the first session and is very knowledgeable in everything she does.

As a trainer she creates an inclusive friendly atmosphere with hardwork and encouragement at its core. Enjoyable and challenging workouts that I can do at my own pace whilst being coached to push myself further.
I have gained strength and body positivity from Pippa’s classes. They have become an integral part of my week. Now I don’t dread working out.

Such a positive return to exercise and health after having a baby
Having recently returned to exercise after the birth of my first child I was really apprehensive to join a group class. Whilst I have exercised before, I favoured going to a PT due to feeling embarrassed and worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up in a group setting. After reaching out to Pippa outlying my concerns, and having attended a trial, I am now loving it. You work at your own pace so you can challenge yourself without feeling out of place, fun and also cost effective! Really pleased I joined, the group of people who attend are lovely and Pippa is really supportive and knowledgable. I would recommend anyone to come along for a trial if they are on the fence!
Pippa's ImprovFit classes in Kimpton
I've been attending Pippa's ImprovFit classes for the over 60's for several months and love them! She is very encouraging, caring and makes the sessions fun. Before I joined the class she carried out a detailed assessment of my health and fitness and listened to my concerns. The classes are small, max 6, which allows her to tailor the exercises and intensity according to our individual ability and needs. She varies the sessions each week using different equipment, resistance bands and weights and works us hard encouraging us to push to the next level yet maintaining a careful and corrective eye on each of us. She follows any concerns up between sessions and is able to offer advice and signposting. She has a great sense of humour and gives me a great start to each week!
Fabulous circuit training with Pippa

Pippa made me feel so welcome and what a lovely group of people attend her circuits. Pippa has eased me back into fitness and within a couple of weeks I already feel better mentally and physically. Every session is varied, different and there's great comaraderie. Lots of encouragement and focus on good technique to avoid injury. Highly recommend !
I recommend ImprovFit’s Active class…
I recommend ImprovFit’s Active class for older adults 100% for anyone over 60. The weekly classes are very well run, everyone is carefully monitored with the focus on individuals different strengths/weaknesses and they are also fun! Pippa is an amazing teacher who clearly has a passion for her role and has just the right balance between motivating us and not being too ‘sergeant major’! The idea is we can get stronger and fitter and more flexible as we get older not weaker and I think it’s working for me, I feel a buzz of achievement after each session. Thanks Pippa!
Your mind smiles while your body works :)
I have always had fitness in my life and taken up different styles and classes. Pippa’s group class has to be the best one I have ever had the pleasure and opportunity to join! After being pregnant and my lifestyle changing I need a good boost - and wow did Pippa give this to me. Each evening has a different structure and works all parts of your body in different ways. Your body is always working but your mind is always smiling :) Pippa sets the perfect tone for each circuit session. She makes it fun and encouraging. The right amount of competitive teamwork, as well as personal goals. I was impressed how she explained everything and how she still picked up individual techniques that I decided to join one of her smaller PT classes. Pippa is fantastic at focusing on your personal goals and guiding you with the right techniques. In a few weeks doing these classes I have already gained in so much confidence.. gained muscle in the right places and starting to lose the weight in other right places too. I completely trust her decisions on weights to make sure I am doing the right technique and weights each week - which is personally tweaked. Advice on exercise balls/ rollers/ recipes are always available without any pushing at all. The personal sessions compliment the group sessions perfectly.
Pippa has a wonderful skill of introducing you to other people in the group as well. As a new person to the group and village - Pippa made me feel so welcome and she sets a friendly and encouraging yet fun atmosphere - for all!
Even during a period where I could not train so much - Pippa was always thoughtful. I am oddly very loyal and I could not rave about her enough!! One session and you will understand and be hooked!!
I love my small group training sessions
I started Pippa's circuit classes around 2 years ago and every single class has been different and imaginative. Pippa has a wonderfully energetic approach to her training and it is very clear that she puts as much energy into planning her classes as to teaching them in person! Every class is tailored to work each part of the body and she gives tailored options throughout the class to push you or to tweak the exercises if you are a new starter or have an injury. Pippa's enthusiasm is infectious and has recently inspired me to take up one of her small group PT weekly sessions, I am absolutely loving it! Pippa's plans are tailored to each of us and with such a small group she really focuses on our individual needs, my form has improved so much which in turn helps me stretch myself further in the classes too. I am currently on week 8 and I can't believe the progression i can see in my strength and confidence. Pippa gives great tips on fueling our bodies and nutritional advice. I honestly cannot recommend her classes and if you can , especially the small group training. It is a life changer . Thanks Pippa for brightening up my Friday lunch break!
I am about to finish my first four week…
I am about to finish my first four week course with Pippa on the imPRovfit Active senior adult exercise class. Having tried various other classes at gyms,I always end up stopping as I find the trainers do not take into consideration age and ability Pippa’s classes are challenging and each individual is encouraged to work hard at their own level and within their individual capabilities. She works all areas of the body with great warm ups and warm downs, and her guidance on nutrition is excellent.
Pippa has been a godsend!!!
Pippa has been a godsend. Menopause hit me hard. My diet was awful, I had no energy and was putting on weight. Pippa made me realise that I actually wasn’t eating enough and encouraged me to really think about my nutrition. I am now eating 3 proper meals a day focussing on including more protein, fruit and vegetables into my diet. Since having my PT sessions with Pippa and focussing on my nutrition my energy levels have improved and I am back to my pre menopause weight. I also feel so much stronger both mentally and physically. She really cares about her clients and works so hard to support them to succeed in their goals whatever they may be. Can’t recommend her enough.
Small Group Training
For the past few months I have been attending the small group training sessions with Pippa in her gym. Her professional and motivational approach have given me back my confidence and determination to push myself with my fitness. Pippa has patiently taught me correct and safe techniques when exercising and I have now the drive and better experience to push myself more in the classes and also at home. I cannot thank Pippa enough for all her help and guidance with fitness as well as diet, and so look forward to the friendly group sessions I take part in. Every session is tailored to individuals needs and I now feel so much stronger and determined to get myself fitter. I really recommend small group training to anyone who wishes to improve their fitness. It has taught me so much.
