Workr Accounting Limited Reviews 

It's early days, so far I have had a couple of problems. These were quickly solved, but I put it down to teething problems. The staff are good at what they do, and very helpful.

Dees was very helpful with resolving a concerning issue that I had around P45. He listened to my concerns and he managed to resolve them promptly.

Excellent service, and quick responses to all questions I had asked of them. I felt they were very helpful in providing customer satisfaction. Dees was a pleasure to deal with.

Adam has been very helpful and kind while guiding me through this new process. Having moved recently from another country and very unfamiliar with the processes, he's made the transition much easier to digest. Highly recommend his services.

I have had such a positive experience with workr accounting, they are quick to answer phone calls and always make me feel like whatever I was concerned about isn't a problem at all! (which is such a relief considering I know nothing about accounting for a limited company and am terribly disorganized)

They give very clear instructions and are very thorough, I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely terrible accountancy firm, completely incapable of answering simple queries let alone providing personalised taxation advice. Fees are forever increasing with no evidence of value-add and their 'express fast-track service' for the simplest of accounts comes at an additional fee of £150 + VAT for a two-week turn around. Look elsewhere.

Have always been extremely helpful and answered any question (no matter how silly it may be!) Really appreciate their constant assistance.

I have used IMS/Workr for the last 5 years and I couldn't have operated through my limited company without their support. They were always responsive and nothing was ever too much to ask. I knew I could rely on them and they gave me peace of mind when my personal and corporate tax returns were due and completed by them. They take away a lot of the stress I would have felt otherwise! Would highly recommend.

Being relatively new to working as a contractor, I was apprehensive and a little nervous about operating through a Ltd company. However, Workr staff made the whole process very straightforward and were always quick to respond to my numerous questions.

During this covid-19 situation we have all had some sort of issue and were we are all pulling together to help.....except workr/ims/walkers or whatever name they use, no not them if you are out of work they still want their pound of flesh no matter what, if you are not earning they still want the next 2 payments regardless and suspend your service with multiple threatening emails and only once you submit a form which when you read is totally against you but if you do not fill in all areas you cannot submit to reduce the payments, so doomed anyway then after that they want £50 + VAT every month even with you having no income, yep very helpful...... not. Look at other reviews (and other sites) they do not do well at all apart from the reviews their friends etc have put on for them. There are many good companies out there that are no way as expenses as these and you will get a much better service.

Beware. This firm is not regulated by any accountancy body. They are not bound by
Professional ethics or a code of conduct.

Unqualified and unsupervised staff are looking after your affairs. Negligence is rife and they will try to tell you it does not matter. All my statutory declarations are incorrect. It does matter.

Negligence admitted by Dees Govender and Stephen Mix but remedial work not done after several months of chasing, including forwarding instructions from HMRC.

You cannot trust a firm that fraudulently holds out unskilled staff as qualified accountants.

If you are already a client;

I. Ask whether payslips are being Internally generated but not issued to you. This does happen.

2. Check whether your salary is accurate on pay summaries and cross reference to payslips that are generated.

3. Check whether VAT inclusive expenses are included in your accounts (rather than net) if you have a standard VAT registration managed by them. I was told that this was common practice when I pointed out it was incorrect. It is TAX Evasion.

Great to deal with. i have used them since 2017 and happy to recommend. Always quick and informative responses to my questions.

Brian Russell came highly recommended from many people in my network. Very reliable and efficient.

Very overpriced for a basic service. Helpful and quick to sign you up to their service - only to be locked in for 12 weeks, with your 'account manager' suddenly very difficult to get hold of (for basic questions), and when they do reply, they are not actually providing you with the best advice.
Nearly double what the other leading companies offer. (I needed everything sorted ASAP which is why I went with them)
Your Company Portal is not very intuitive, and at best, basic. The provide a well summarised weekly overview, however, do not withdraw dividends on a weekly basis as this is not advisable by any one.
