I had shattered the footplate on my quickie carbon, I contacted Andrew their out and about salesman who advised me to ring Michelle at the office, to cut a long story short Michelle organised an appointment for me to meet up with Sean the engineer at Independence Mobility and 2 days later I had a new footplate fitted. Sean was waiting in the repair area when I arrived and told me to wait in the car while he took my chair and fitted the new one, 5 minutes later he was back with my chair, bringing it back and putting it back on the front seat for me.

I never go anywhere else for my mobility needs now because I don’t need to, these guys are always caring and so helpful, showing empathy all the way. If you need a new wheelchair or your current chair needs maintaining, just ring these guys, you won’t get better service anywhere I promise you.

Andrew, thank you for always being available. Michelle, thank you for listening and caring as always. Sean, you’re the rock star of wheelchair maintenance and always there when needed. Cheers Sean.

Absolutely shocking company to work for.
Treat staff who are not in the clique appalling. They cut corners to do jobs. They have no occupational health. Yet they make out they massive advocates for mental health they are not they pushed a member of staff out of a job.
Company appears to be managed by non management who bully new staff and then use them as a scapegoat.
Treat visitors very disrespectful have a dog on site no signs to say they have a dog and if you don't like dogs they don't ask if you like dogs or not.
Do not take a job with this company.

Scott (technician) came to mine a couple of weeks later to make small adjustments and to check all was ok! Such a knowledgeable, patient and calm guy - I'm SO not used to being treated like that! Such a credit to the company!!

A superb company. Amazing service. Extremely polite, pleasant & respectful. Nothing is an issue. Very knowledgeable about their products & painless service from order to delivery. Highly recommend this company. Absolutely loving our new wheelchair from them. They go above & beyond. We cannot thank them enough.

Absolutely fantastic, from first contact, they sent out an engineer to fix our rise and fall recliner, Danny arrived on our doorstep, extremely friendly very helpful, very professional explaining what the problem was, making sure that my husband could have use of his chair until a new part could be sourced, this was accomplished very quickly, Danny came back today and fixed the chair , we are extremely happy with the service that was provided.

Fantastic service received from everyone at independence Mobility! I would highly recommend to anyone who requires any mobility aids especially wheelchairs.
A special thanks to Andrew one their Rep’s a lovely guy who puts the persons needs first and the sale second. Always patient and friendly and very easy to work with. He was always on time and you could see his passion for what he does shine through.

Massive thanks to Kirby and Dan who went out of their way to get my wheelchair working again, they just didn't stop until it was done. I am so grateful and appreciative of all their hardwork and dedication. And it isn't only the engineers, all the receptionists are really lovely whenever I speak to them. Home Visit
Had a home visit to reprogram an over eager Sunrise medical Q300 mini powerchair. The two guys who turned up were polite, knowledgable and took time to do a thorough job.

Superb customer service backed with a fast efficient engineers visit. Independence Mobility have kept me independent

They need to update their website with the areas of the UK they are willing to help. Their e-mail reply to me was like a slap in the face. "we dont cover your area". Nothing more, no sorry, or maybe you could try this company, etc.... USELESS.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish, from speaking to the company and explaining what my needs were…. To Andrew the advisor visiting me at home, remaining vigilant with COVID and then brought out a wheelchair for me to try…. It was exactly what I needed, in the price range we had agreed and I’m so happy with my first ever wheelchair!!

Will recommend for anyone apprehensive and not sure about what’s out there, do not go for the best looking cheapest thing online, speak to these guys - they have years of experience and know what works and what doesn’t and what’s the best fit for your lifestyle!

I’m so happy!!

Excellent service, thoughtful staff who weren't happy until the chair was right. The item arrived on time and was perfect. Very happy customer. Great price for a great product and service in difficult COVID19 times, excellently carried out. Would highly recommend them.
