Don't do it... Just don't. Please read everything below and these other reviews before making a decision to join. They aren't being dramatic and they aren't deranged former members. I lived it and am still living it now.

I was a member for 3 years. December 2025 is not the first time this "system" didn't work. They added an additional subscription to perform "long" trades or reverse Iron Condors and in early 2025 I lost a large deal of money through that program. Same system of 5 levels, but for an outside day with the 20 Delta. I followed the "risk calculator" to the T, but the response from David is that I over leveraged. The blamed was turned back on me immediately. Come to find out, the incorrect strikes had been sent out causing a wider range and in turn put our positions at a larger risk. The response, "we will have to take a look at the bot to see what went wrong." No follow-up or explanation for their mess up which caused thousands of dollars in personal losses. According to their strategy, I was following what was taught and instructed, but it was their system and alerts that I paid extra for that failed. When I would bring this up in the chats, I was threatened with removal from the program in total. So, I decided to allow them to sensor my voice and my judgment of them and remained quiet in the chats. My 1st mistake.

Fast forward to December 2025. Multiple people within the group had noticed that strikes were tighter and the premiums were lower. Inside days were becoming very hard to achieve and often closing within the last 5 minutes of the day. A VERY stressful situation most of the time. LOTS of complaints that the risk had been higher and the premiums had been lower. In previous experiences, adjustments were made and closing the trade early to book small profit or to mitigate loss was conducted. However, David stopped doing that and we were told to "trust the system" and that doing early closing is a "double edge sword". The system is to trade your account size and to plan for 6 levels. That level 6 landed on Christmas Eve 2025 and it failed in a so called "fail proof" system. During that day when people were requesting for guidance to possibly close out early, mitigate losses, etc. there was COMPLETE silence from leadership. No guidance. Not a single response back. About an hour after the trading day closed, majority of the group either blew up their accounts or lost a very large portion, there was finally a response from David. What was it you may ask? "The team is meeting to discuss our next steps." Okay I will wait to see if there is some sort of explanation or guidance from here. Once we finally hear back at 7pm at night, it isn't about refunding memberships, helping members who lost everything, guidance on "where to go from here", It was, "whoever still trusts the system and wants to continue in the group, we are taking a break until January and will reconvene to evaluate any adjustments that need to be made." In other words, the leadership who has made a ton of money off membership fees is going to go enjoy their holiday while those who lost everything are SOL.

Hindsight is 20-20 and I really wish I would have noticed and trusted the signs within the market in months prior and started moving my investment elsewhere. David's program changed my life in a very negative way and I know there are many others who feel the same. I can take responsibility for my own decisions and I admit that chose to trade his alerts. Anybody who is debating on joining this group, please do yourself a favor and keep moving along. It will save you a ton of stress and heartache in the future. Find your own style of trading and don't follow somebody like David with trust in a "system" unless you are willing to lose a lot of money and have a lot of sleepless nights.

I joined in the SPX program for a year and a half. It was an amazing experience to be able to earn 10% a month with just 10 minutes of daily work. But this approach is quite dangerous, and on December 24, 2025, everyone lost a lot of money. My entire account was gone, and the management team showed little concern for the users. David Chau did not even reply to my message when I contacted him.
After paying a $6000 annual subscription, I lost everything, making this one of the worst programs I have ever participated in. If you do not want to lose your entire AC, do not join this program.

InsideOptions uses a Martingale-based strategy — increasing exposure after losses to recover prior trades. That structure inevitably carries catastrophic risk, and on December 24, 2025, it wiped out the majority of members’ accounts.

During onboarding, David Chau presented expectations of 3–5% accumulated monthly gains with an extremely low chance of losing capital. The actual outcome speaks for itself.

Understand the structural risk before committing funds.

This platform was marketed to me as beginner-friendly and described during the onboarding call as “no-fail trading.” I was told it would only take 15 minutes a day, so as a beginner, I trusted them.
Trades were actively posted in Slack, and members were urged to follow the trades exactly as posted, adjusted only for account size. Whenever concerns were raised, the response was always: “Trust David.” That “trust” resulted in my entire account being wiped out. I lost all my savings !!
They also claimed the course fee would be refunded if losses were not recovered within a certain number of trades. I waited over a month before requesting the refund, acting in good faith.
At that point, the response changed. I was asked to provide ledgers and proof. As a beginner, this was unreasonable; if I already knew how to produce detailed trading documentation, I wouldn’t have needed a beginner platform. Moreover, they directed the trades and knew the account sizes, yet still refused to honor their own policy.
After many accounts were wiped, the platform began calling itself an “educational platform” and introduced a new way to trade ignoring the fact that many of us no longer had any money left to trade with.
I repeatedly requested the refund because I genuinely need that money, but instead of honoring what was promised, the process was denied and deflected.
I’m writing this to warn other beginners: be extremely cautious of platforms that use terms like “no-fail” and change definitions once real losses occur.

I am willing to update or remove this review if the originally stated refund policy is honored.

I paid $6,000 for an annual membership to David Chau's trading program and I am writing this so others don't make the same mistake.

The core issue is simple: there is no real, structured trading strategy. What is sold as a professional trading education is, in practice, a loosely run program with no consistent methodology, no risk management framework, and no accountability when trades go wrong. My account was blown as a direct result of following the guidance provided. I am not alone — multiple members I have spoken to experienced the same outcome.

What you actually get for $6,000:
• A heavy marketing operation designed to attract new members
• Vague trade ideas with no defined entry, stop-loss, or exit criteria
• An 'educator' who appears to spend more time traveling internationally than running the program
• A community of people slowly realizing they've been oversold

What you do NOT get:
• A repeatable, backtested trading strategy
• Any accountability for losses

The $6,000 fee is not the worst part — the account losses that followed the advice are far more painful.And Most importantly you get removed from the group without notice

If you are researching this program, please do your due diligence. Save your money. Protect your capital.

I was a member of InsideOptions for 18 months, and I am sharing this review to provide a realistic look at the journey from profits to a total account wipeout.

The Sales Pitch vs. The Reality
During the initial sales call, the program was marketed as having a strategy that "never failed" and had never seen a losing month. Based on these claims and past results, I joined in Oct 2024, paying hefty membership fees. For the first few months, the strategy performed as promised, showing decent gains through November 2025.

The Strategy: A Ticking Time Bomb
The reality of David’s "strategy" is that it relies heavily on a Martingale system. In this model, the strategy requires you to double down on your position the day after a loss to "recover." While this can create a smooth equity curve in calm markets, it effectively puts your entire account on the line to chase previous losses.

The December 2025 Wipeout
In December 2025, the "never fail" claim hit a wall. In a single series, the market didn't move in our favor, and the Martingale doubling resulted in a catastrophic loss. I lost all the profits I had made, plus my own capital. My account was almost entirely wiped out—a 43k loss in total.

Final Verdict & Business Ethics
This is an extremely "risk-on" strategy. When it fails, it doesn't just result in a "bad month"—it clears out entire accounts. Furthermore, despite being a long-term member who had just renewed in October 2025, my request for a refund was denied after trading only three series of the new subscription. They said I do not qualify for refund as I am past their 45 trading day refund window. I just traded 3 series after the renewal so not sure how they are calculating 45 trading days.

If you value capital preservation and want to avoid "win small, lose everything" gambling, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

David & his team are a scam, all they want is your money. Then they want you to invest in unproven system which you will lose lots of money. It’s already happened twice. A lot of people lost allot of money. Best to stay away cuz a big scam

David Chau and his team lack basic market understanding and lured more than 1000 people, abused their trust and misled them. Stole their money and do not honor the contract they signed and refuse members refunds they deserve. They have kept the members hostage in a fraudulent scheme…. Horrible stay away at all cost

This program worked in 2024, and based on that promise I joined in January 2025. During Christmas, the strategy failed at level 6, and a lot of people blew up their accounts and lost a lot of money. You can find more information in reddit. They promised a refund of the program fee, but when I sent the documents and asked for it, they removed me from their program even though my membership is valid until February 13, 2025. They are somehow managing with the existing group, and if you post anything about refunds or other questions, the Slack bot removes the message while they try to pretend everything is normal. You might make money for a few months, but in one shot you can lose everything.

David Chau sold his SPX strategy that level 6 will not lose and it did on Christmas Eve. Members lost a lot of capital and had their accounts blown up and asked for a subscription refund or even a subscription waived for prior years but all got ignored and denied. He tried to sound like he care for his members but he did not otherwise a refund will be offered. He also deleted any messages that ask for refunds or subscription waived. It is a red flag. Based on his latest annoucement, he is still charging the same subscription for the new year for those who want to stay. And, telling members he will adjust in September. If the strategy is not strong and will change, it makes no sense to charge the same fee. Buyers beware. Their Russell 2000 trades also just lost as well.

DO NOT DO IT IN RED. At best you can see average gains after taking huge risks and going through lot of crazy stress. You modify your daily schedule and keep an eye on the alerts. You cannot miss an alert or you lose and cannot recover for months. This was the best case scenario. Before I write what happened to me, here is the latest F*** U* that happened. On Christmas eve, the entire group which was around 1100 people were at a risk of entire account, which for some people was upto $1M and lowest $30K. They lost it all. The group collectively lost around $60M in that series. In a matter of 3 days, people lost all of the account. I personally lost $35K. In the follow up meeting, the Boss of group said, "I MISSED SOMETHING" .Now you can see what you are setting yourself up for. People who have been in it for 3 years and paid $5500 yearly lost all with the fees. The group admin charged all these members $5000 on average so you can imagine how much they had collected it in fees. If you are out of the refund window then you cant even get the fee back. I realized I made a huge mistake how this can blow entire account and I paid for it. This is how this same thing can happen again: You are selling iron condors at the edge of the expected move for 1DTE. Now market can move any time and any day. If you end up on level 6( which is the highest level and you are risking all of your account) and market moves only 10 points against you then you blow your account. Besides the account blow up, for me the 2nd worst part was the boss and his team's attitude. They did not say one time that " we will try to help the group with what we can" more or less they were like it happened and we missed something. The group wanted to get at the least free subscription for some time, ( personally I will not trade their system ever again) but they were so rude and indifferent, they did not even address it. I recently started trading and this blowup broke me really bad. I repeat again "DO NOT DO IT"

I joined InsideOptions.io in 2025, paying roughly $5,000 in membership fees. The promise was consistent income; the reality was a financial disaster.

1. The Financial Wipeout:
In December 2025, the strategy failed catastrophically. The community suffered an estimated $26 Million aggregate loss (over 1,000 members losing a minimum of $26,000 each). Most members lost entire trading capital following their rules.

2. The "Wealth Transfer" Business Model:
David Chau "took responsibility" verbally, but words are cheap. While members were wiped out, he and his company pocketed millions in subscription fees. This operates less like a partnership and more like a wealth transfer: the owners get rich on fees, while the members take 100% of the risk.

3. Censorship & The "Cult":
David employs a staff of roughly 20 people to manage the Slack community. Their primary role during this crisis has been suppression. They actively delete messages from members asking for accountability and silence anyone who questions the narrative. They solicit positive reviews when winning but censor honest feedback when losing.

Do not trust the "Past Results" marketing. Ask for the 2025 Performance Report. If they won't show it to you, it's because it is a graveyard. Stay away.

Blown account . Pure Martingale dressed in shiny signals. Felt confident till Christmas hit. Algos reacted weird, streaks turned endless... and boom, whole account vanished by evening. David Chang might sound smooth, but this system's a trap. Folks, stay clear—your wallet will thank you.

This is my second review for this program after a year (my first one was 3 month so in). SPX program is amazing!!!!, I had no prior trading experience before joining (let alone options trading), and I still have been very successful in it (learning as I go).

So far I am up about 70%, and I have made mistakes, have not follow the system to the letter at times because of greed or fear, if I had, I would be up 90% of so. Anyway, the program has its risks but definitely worth it if you are looking for high-yield returns, just make sure you only risk what you can afford, don't over leverage or try to get rich quick.

The IO team is amazing, they answer questions and provide assistance and information as requested (provided is not a proprietary secret of course ), and on top of that, other more experienced members are always willing to step up and help whenever they can.

I follow the directions, stay cool and make money. The system works.

Highly recommended! Been in it for half a year now. Been doing great. The advice in trading is always: invest only the amount that you are willing to risk.
