I found a freelancer on this platform who promised to perform my task perfectly. However, when I saw the work he sent me for review, I was surprised and a bit disappointed. I just needed a few photos to be edited. And his editing turned out to be not as professional as I expected. It is nevertheless worth noting the quick response of the support team that advised me to send my task to disputes. After doing that my money was returned to my balance due to the Dispute department decision. And now I’m in doubt whether to find another freelancer on this platform to complete my task or to request a refund.

I would not use this website for the pure reason that I have been unable to withdraw my money from my account when deciding not to continue with a task and subsequently delete it.

It is unacceptable to ask people to deposit funds in order to access messages from potential customers and advertising it as though it is easy to withdraw the money should you not find a suitable candidate.

For something so promising, it ended up being undoubtedly disappointing.

Please send me my money back immediately.

Perhaps I caught the website on a bad day. After wasting money and time with other sites I happened to come across Insolvo. it looked to be hopefully something that I could use so I followed all of the little things I had to do, and I posted a job. I wanted to start out with a small initial order so that I could make sure that the person knew what they were doing. I offered $10 which was two dollars per meta description (approx 25 words each).
I expected hundreds of applicants or replies like on other sites, but I don’t know how many I ever had. You’re only allowed to see three at a time and despite numerous emails to support and replies from them and trying again, I never was able to figure out how to see more than a couple at a time or just in general. I have literally been trying this for almost 24 hours. I went ahead and hired another company and I paid the same amount.
I still have a lot of projects so I figured heck it had been 10 hours I’ll try it again. So I went and it said I had six replies, So I started with the first three. One of them had no reviews whatsoever in anything related so I rejected them thinking that that would bring up a new person but it didn’t. I sent a message to the other two. The first one responded and told me to send her the keywords and stuff. I asked her how many characters was in a meta description. No reply so I rejected her.
The third and last person had replied so I went in to see his reply and he said, yeah so I don’t really have any experience with that but I think theoretically I know what it is. So I told him thank you and have a good day. I sent an email to Support again asking to just be able to withdraw my $10 and be done with it.
I was told that I had seven people waiting for me to see. I didn’t have any. After I rejected the last guy, the third one, there’s nothing left for me to see. I kept sending screenshots all day showing them exactly the problems I was having and I keep being told that I’m not having a problem. So at this point I’m still just trying to get my $10 back. I had to pay $.50 to add a photo to my account, this is 24 hours after I added the $10.50 to begin with. So I paid $.50 to give them my picture. Then I have to fill out something called a “passport“ I had to verify my phone number, and then they want me to enter in all of my information. I didn’t have to do all of this for them to take the $10 out of my card, I don’t particularly want to give them any more of my information to get the $10 back. And yes let me repeat we are arguing over $10. Nobody is qualified to do SEO content obviously. I’m unable to use the site I’m having issues. And I have to pay $.50 for them to have my picture? I wouldn’t waste your time with the site if I were you.

Joined and verified my profile. I did not know what to expect as it was my first time using a freelance platform... I started accepting tasks I could do, completing them in the time specified, and gradually making money every day. My perfect job :-)

Waste of time.. I couldn't pass the test of rules that i did hundreds of times..
Its really silly to make money from us and dont less us pass the test

I have been working on Insolvo for about two months now and I am very happy with this platform. Different kind of tasks are available which helps many freelancers find tasks in their area of expertise. I also liked the fact that that the registration process and the instructions for using the website are quite easy. I highly recommend it!

Very bad experience. I've tried updating my profile a million times, but it doesn't save my information. And there i cannot proceed to perform tasks. Also, my 10dollars are now stuck in there forever. Waste of money time and energy

They ask you to pass a test and the first question is automatically guarantee to be wrong, I am a huge Formula 1 fan, I know the answer, I can even prove it with screen shot, but yet they keep telling me that I have incorrectly answered, I even tried all the numbers from 1 to 300 all of them are incorrect. This is bogus!!!!!!

I've been using Insolvo everyday for the past 2 weeks and I have had a great experience so far with just one minor one major complaint.

The sign up process is relatively simple and involves a short test to ensure you've read and understood the rules. Once you are signed up there are plenty of jobs to do do.

Insolvo has a great chat system. You can share attachments and there's blue tick to indicate a message has been read.

To guarantee payments Insolvo requires buyers to deposit the full amount before work can begin. The hold that amount in reserve until the work is done or if there's a dispute, they can review the communication in the chats and deal with payment or refund.

Starting out as newbie I thought it would be hard to get accepted for jobs but thankfully I was wrong. It seems like the best way to get a chance to be selected for a task at Insolvo is to bid on the task as soon as it is published.

Now biggest problem I've encountered is that the buyers aren't clear in their task descriptions as to what they want done. They often just write a sentence so you don't exactly know what needs to be done and therefore can't gauge if the offered price is right.

Insolvo should be more strict about posting a task, maybe requiring a minimum word count or have different sections to fill in such as description, deliverables, etc...

I would definitely recommend Insolvo to Freelancers, especially ones just starting out. There's plenty of tasks and as long as you are quick to respond, you will get jobs.

GREAT experience FOR BUYERS i deposited over 50 dollars with insolvo but not long after i was called away on an emergency and no longer needed their services to look for a freelancer and insolvo gave me my money back immediately with no questions asked i highly recommend this company for buyers you can trust these people and i will be using their services again in the future!

Insolvo is an amazing freelance platform that gives the best user experience especially for freelancer who are starting off. The site is well but to give the user the best experience for ease of understanding. The process of registering as a freelancer is well guided making it easy and straight forward. Tasks are in plenty and all you have to do is make a bid for the task you feel you’re best suited to execute. The follow up process to determine the success of your bid is eased and constant communication keeps one abreast. Information on the system of payment is made available from the beginning of registration and is easy to understand. Furthermore, the process of making inquiries is well detailed to ensure the best user experience.

I’ve been a freelancer with Insolvo for a little over a month now. The experience has been overall positive with some areas for improvement.

The positives:
-My first task through Insolvo was really interesting and helped enhance my portfolio.
-There have been several matching tasks that I have bid on.
-Insolvo customer service is fast to respond.

Areas for improvement:
-The buyers (people who post the task) often times don’t provide clear instructions or expectations so it is hard to know the full scope of the task before accepting it. It would be great to see clear deliverables before bidding on a job so I can ensure it’s a fair and competitive bid.

Overall good experience and I still use the platform regularly.

Freelancing with Insolvo has been a positive experience so far with some notable issues. The way they set up the payment system guarantees that you will be paid for completed work, as they reserve payment from buyers when the task is given.

As a freelancer, you have to apply for each task that you want and they expect a small blurb about why you should be the person for the job. I really enjoy the tasks that I have been doing so far and tasks may include logo making, proofreading, copyediting, website design, resume writing, SEO tasks, etc. Insolvo is a good place to make a little bit of cash.

One issue I have with being a freelancer on this site is that most buyers are not clear at all about what they want and either offer a very low price for the task or ask you to offer a price (which means they will probably choose the cheapest freelancer?). I think before having to apply for the task, buyers should have to explain their task in more detail so freelancers can be compensated fairly for their work. For example, a task with the two word detail "voiceover please" doesn't tell you how long is the voiceover, is there editing involved, is there a script already, etc. but the freelancer is expected to offer a price and it doesn't seem like you can change the price offer to reflect new information.

IDEAS: They need a forum for freelancers to chat with each other. There is no community here to discuss tasks and fair pay.

Insolvo is a great freelance platform, especially if you're starting off as a new freelancer. I've been on Insolvo for a month now, and I'm pleased with the experience. The tasks range from graphic design to website development. As far as I know, the payment system seems secure. I haven't seen any spam posts like those on other websites, so that has been a relief. I'm looking forward to getting more tasks.

Insolvo is an incredible freelance platform. No matter the level of your skill, there is always a task for everyone. The site is user friendly, well detailed policies and rules, low charges for freelancers and a platform without discrimination irrespective of where in the world you come from. I love it here.

Insolvo is a good freelance platform for entry level employees. There are not hard tasks. Interface is very pleasant and usage of the platform is very accessible and understandable. I didn't get payment yet, but i hope I'll find appropriate task.

I am newbie freelancer from Insolvo. The first impression from the platform is it really takes security, fairness, and procedures into account for both freelancer and client. Also, looking at the variation of the tasks, I can say it has a range of tiny project to a big one. This is really helpful for an artist like me to build a portfolio that suits my creative choice.

Insolvo was my first choice of a freelance platform when I decided to start off as a freelancer. I found it challenging that you have to pass the test to get access to the tasks. The tasks themselves are of a great variety from the easiest ones to more complicated, and paid accordingly. The rules and navigation are simple and intuitively understandable. The only downside is that there are no other wallets than PayPal.
