I bought a bungalow in Wistaston built around 50 years ago, and found it colder than my precious home which was built by the builder for himself. Suspecting it was not properly insulated I first contacted some companies, whose aggressive marketing meant I would not use them. Having got through to Spring I searched for another company and found Insul8 and rang for a quote.
I was visited by Matt who having inspected everywhere and testing for cavity wall insulation, told me I had sufficient insulation in my loft. He said the small amount he could add in a few spots would not make any noticeable difference, and that cavity wall insulation had been done. I was really impressed by the professional way business was conducted, and his honesty. I suggest anyone looking to have a warmer home cannot look any further than this company. Matt is very knowledgeable about insulating houses. He understands the issues such as potential condensation and thermal bridging. I have worked in the building world as a passivhaus consultant for years and he is one of the most thorough, well informed trade person I have met.

Matt and James were professional, polite, and answered all the questions I had. They were very courteous and made absolutely no mess, taking care to ensure all the holes were filled properly after installation.

The initial inspection was extremely smooth too, and the team were not pushy at all.

Excellent service from start to finish, matt did the initial survey and went through what was needed, giving a full comprehensive report with pictures. Competitive prices against other quotes we had and picked up and advised on other things.

Matt and James arrived on the day on time and began work, all completed in a respectful, tidy manner. They left the property clean and tidy inside and out.

Great communication from the start & the work was carried out promptly & efficiently. As I am renovating a property, it was key the work was done before the plasterer finished.

Matt & his team ensured the work was all done in time, even came back on a Saturday to finish off the loft hatch & replace some external bricks.

Insul8 added a new, thicker layer of loft insulation, plus they created a raised boarded section above the new, thicker insulation. They worked really hard, tidied up, and were very patient with making tweaks to get the loft hatch working to my liking. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

The guys who came out to carry out the work were thorough, professional, and very approachable — they took the time to explain everything and were completely transparent throughout.

The work was completed efficiently and to a high standard, and we also received the certificate and warranty promptly afterwards.

Matthew came out to assess our wall as we were considering cavity wall insulation. He assessed our wall and gave very good honest advice. I had another company come before he came and was not offered the same standard of advice and level of service. I thought there was no cavity insulation in our walls and he checked saw that there was cavity insulation. It probably wasn’t the best standard of insulation but I respect his honest and would recommend this company. Definitely give this company a try.

James and his team worked very hard and did an excellent job for us. Updated the loft with perfect insulation & new boards etc. A clean, professional work carried out. Very helpful & explained everything before starting the work. Once the work was done they cleaned up & put some items back into the loft for us. We only made the payment once we received the invoice from the office. I would highly recommend these guys from this firm 10 out of 10

A massive thank you to Matt, Lewis, James and all the team at Insul8 - It can be a daunting task looking for good tradesmen these days. I spent ages researching various insulation companies and went with Insul8 because they were competitively priced and professional throughout the consultation and quote (two companies quoted me over the phone) - It was also quite a complex job, as the team had to insulate around my disabled sons 'hoisting beam anchoring system' in the loft (its like a roadmap up there) - Matt, Lewis and James arrived bright and early and completed the task with no fuss - On inspection, its clear to see that every nook and cranny is completely covered.. Twice!! This is going to be super efficient now I reckon - The lads also cleaned up thoroughly after they had finished, Its like nobody had been in the house! Thank you once again to all at Insul8 and especially Matt, Lewis and James. Just wish I could give you all 6 stars!

On the whole very good service, from the office staff (very friendly) through to the installers.
We had Matt and his team installing cavity insulation for us. The weather was horrendous for them and they had a few problems (not their fault, just one of those jobs!) however they went above and beyond to get the work completed.
The insulation does seem to be working which is the main thing!

The advice given after inspection of the cavity wall was valuable to myself in diagnosing the internal damp issue.
Also the communication from the office regarding times and any delays due to the severe weather were much appreciated.
It makes the difference when you can actually speak to someone and get the help you need promptly.

Matt came round with his team and did an amazing job on the loft insulation. The team were professional, quick and tidy. From the quote to the job, communications has always been there. Looking forward to the loft hatch being installed.

I had had loft insulation work carried out in the loft on the recommendation of a surveyor.
The company did not do what I had asked them to, or carry out the work properly,
so I contacted Insul8 to discuss my concerns.
Matt came out and assessed the loft and offered a solution which I accepted
James and Matt arrived on time and completed the work, explaining what they were doing.
They did a great job, tidying up afterwards, Leaving no mess.

Insul8 came out and gave me a really comprehensive survey of the roof space and suitability for what needed to be done. I got an initial quote, but we went over a few options to find the most affordable route for me. On the day of the install they were very polite, efficient, and left the property clean and tidy. The new insulation is so tidy and helping to keep the house much warmer.
