ISM Waste & Recycling Reviews

Excellent service from ISM. Ross our representative was fantastic, really helpful and very informative. Always on hand if there is anything we need. Thank you!

Skip and bins delivered and positioned where required, prompt collection as previously agreed. Fabulous company to work with.

We use ISM whenever we need to remove waste from larger jobs (we install windows and doors) and arrange on-site skips with them. They are by far the best waste company we have used, the knowledge, communication and service is second to none.

Best skip company in bury area always reliable and great service.

As a tradesman, I use ISM Ramsbottom for around 2–3 skips every month and wouldn’t use anyone else. They’re always reliable, turn up when they say they will, and collection is never a problem. Their prices are very competitive and the service is spot on every time. It’s great dealing with a company you can rely on to keep your jobs running smoothly. Highly recommended.

As a builder I need efficiency and ISM never let me down. Skip turns up on time, gets collected when I ask, and there’s never any messing about. Fair price, great service, and keeps the job running. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

ISM are wonderful!

They're a proper company, run by proper people who actually care about their service and about their customers and really go out of their way to help.

We had a series of skips and they deliver when they say they will, collect when they say they will, and go out of their way to position them exactly where you want them.

The staff on the phone and email are great, and the drivers are real characters.

The company and its management also really care about the community too, sponsoring local sports teams and events, and local charities and even defib boxes.

I can't recommend ISM enough. If only other companies were so down-to-earth, decent and honest.

Absolutely fantastic service!! Dropped off and picked up efficiently! Highly recommended 😁✨️ thank you 😊

Great company to work with. Ross Freedman ran through everything thoroughly from our first meet on site and checks in regularly to see if we are happy with everything. Communication throughout ISM is faultless.

Service provided is always professional and all paper work is completed correctly.

Fast efficient service, customer focused. Always willing to help. Provided expert advice during and after our recycling project, with cost effective solutions.
Would highly recommend ISM.

ISM helped our business move seamlessly from another provider to them whilst saving us money at the same time. Friendly and helpful staff which is a massive plus for us.

Great Service lovely staff.

I requested a site clearance on a Saturday morning as I run a busy pub opposite Turf Moor , Burnley FC. It was a matchday and given it being a weekend I didn’t expect anything to be done until the Monday. To my surprise Kim gave me a call within 10 minutes of reporting it and said they were on there way to collect which they did. Great service and THANKYOU to ALL the staff who helped me out at such short notice. That’s what I call excellent service, Regards Tony at The Park View. Burnley.

ISM took over the waste contract from a national company in October. It was seamless. It's a family business but with all the bells and whistles (and more) that you would expect from a nationwide contractor. Better still, they answer the phone and emails when you need them too!! The price is also VERY competitive!
They have the scope to cover all our needs and give me confidence every time I need help!

We previously used an alternative waste supplier who would charge us excessive amounts and were slow to react. Since moving to ISM 2 years ago, we have made considerable savings, service has improved and they regularly offer cost saving solutions.

We have dealt with ISM for many years now and have always found there service from the office staff and the drivers first class nothing is ever too much trouble

Michaela is really helpful and is on point with everything I ask of her. Old school customer service which is lost on a lot of people these days.

A renovation project at our home required a skip. We chose ISM because we wanted to support local business. The process was seamless and professional. Skip was delivered on time by a friendly, excellent driver who spent time positioning it perfectly. When we asked for it to be removed it was collected the very next day. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

After nearly a month of email exchanges, quote requests, contract signing, and even arranging a specific delivery date for a cardboard skip, I was only informed — after calling them myself — that the skip would not be delivered due to “missing references” and a supposedly “incorrectly filled” Direct Debit form.

No one had the courtesy to notify me of any issues earlier. I made time to be available for the signing in person, signed the paperwork, submitted everything as requested — only to later be told the documents were already shredded.

The complete lack of transparency, accountability, and basic communication is deeply unprofessional. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with ISM Waste & Recycling.
