Replace CMOS Battery and Upgrade Graphics Card
My PC was loosing the time when it was starting. This affected updates, especially from Adobe. Suspecting it was the CMOS battery and I was going to replace it myself. However the Graphics card and other wires were in the way. I took the PC to IT Repair solutions and a new battery was installed and the case given a good clean.
I enquired about upgrading the graphics card (GPU)as some aspects of Lightroom was running slow. I was given a quote for installation half of what Amazon would have charged me to install the GPU (Plus the cost of the GPU from Amazon) It was fitted the same day and the machine is running much quicker.
I would certainly recommend IT repair solutions

Gave IT repair solutions my water damage laptop.
The following day told me I could collect it and it was working.
back to the office and it was not working having been charged £120
When to another repairer and he has opened up the laptop and said nothing has been removered from inside as the manufactures tape is still visable. Will never go back here

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience, but we’d like to clarify what was done. The laptop’s entire motherboard was removed, several capacitors replaced, and the board was professionally cleaned using an ultrasonic process to address the water damage.
It’s possible that the other technician from other shop may not have noticed this, as the manufacturer’s tape can sometimes remain intact even after careful disassembly — we always take extra care to preserve the internal layout whenever possible.
The laptop was returned in working condition, but as clearly stated, no warranty can be provided for water-damaged motherboards due to the unpredictable nature of such repairs.
We always aim to provide honest and thorough service, and we regret that your experience didn’t reflect that. Please feel free to contact us directly if you’d like to discuss this further.

Such a superb service
Such a superb service, from start to finish communications were prompt and responses were too. My touch screen laptop hinge broke, cracking the screen and affecting the touch screen in some areas. All repaired and in full working order very quickly. thank you.

Following on from a very good previous repair I enquired about servicing and upgrading our desktop PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The Microsoft notifications said that the PC was not suitable, but it was. It solutions gave the PC a good service, increased the capacity of the 'C' drive and replaced a non functioning CD drive. All completed quickly and at a very reasonable cost.
I would, without hesitation, recommend IT Repair Solutions.

I had a very good experience with IT Repair Solutions. He is very knowledgeable, especially about Apple products, a good communicator, and gave me good advice. I actually, in the end, did not need to have any repairs done, but I have every confidence that if they were necessary, they would be done quickly and effectively. Also, it was convenient not to have to go into Horsham town, but to his workshop close by to where I was staying. Highly Recommended.

DIsappointing
I would love to join the others in giving a great review but unfortunately this isn't my experience. Our laptop screen was knocked off the side and although the laptop still worked, the screen broke away from the base. We were told it could be repaired or have a new screen, the screen option obviously being more expensive. I asked if the fix would be good or is it better to get a new screen and was told that the fix could sort it no problem. A few days later we took it back as the screen was too loose and wouldn't stay up. We were told by the same person, that it's just a fix not a new screen which was totally different to what he had said as he had told us that a fix would be as good. He said he would see what he could do and we returned to collect it and it seemed ok. A week later, it was exactly back to the way it was when we took it in as all the glue used had just come out. Total waste of money and I'm really disappointed that I wasn't just told it would be better to replace the screen from the get go as we would have done that.
