Saffron quality is the tricksters' minefield. Herbal Magic have supplied Sea & Sun saffron for years and it is always PURE (I did a soak test and all the strands keep their the colour, unlike fake saffron which is cut with up to 90% is dyed substitute that washes out and has no flavour). Only a small pinch is needed to give to a large paella its authentic flavour. For 100% pure top quality, it is also excellent value.
