Terrible booking experience and outcome.
In the process of searching for flights from SYD to CPT return, I came upon the booking site, Iwantthatflight.
After 4 days of researching flight options, I decided on a particular fare with Etihad and I went ahead to book. The fare was displayed, I completed the booking, money went off my credit card and seconds later I received a notification that the fare was no longer available. The service support agent told me that airline continuously updates the availability, and the seats are no longer available. The amount taken off my credit card had also increased with a $100 due to USD-AUD exchange rate bank fee. I had more than $4000 off my card, with no booking. The agent who I spoke to was abrupt and at no point did she acknowledge that this is not acceptable practice, collecting payment without being able to confirm the booking. I WILL STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE AS FAR AS POSSIBLE IN THE FUTURE. Still waiting for my money to be refunded!
