I visited the Traralgon store were I returned a ROVIN portable power station now the stuff were totally unhelpful and made things very difficult they wouldn't accept the receipt from my bank account in order for them to replace this device, my issue is that when I need to use it for a power supply from the cigarette lighter port the whole socket comes out of the device, it seems that Jaycar's policy is to antagonize the paying customer they simply would not exchange the device regardless of the fact that it is faulty therefore be careful when you buy from Traralgon Jaycar.
Horrible experience - zero customer service
Horrible experience with the website, went to order a product online, website would not work, over and over… went into store early next morning and product was off sale, wouldn’t consider honouring it..and customer service was incredibly rude. Avoid this company as much as you can. I have spoken to customer services via chat, no luck.. Probably even worse customer service than in the store!!

Beautifull websites full of goodies and big words ,you order with a smile on your face and then....you wait like a moron for a delivery which it will never come because in your account it says delivered.And then you call them.and call them and call them.........but nothing,you get a message saying that if you leave your details they will get back to you.And you wait and you wait and you wait.........i think this spells it out for Jaycar ,HEY JAYCAR TALK TO ME

I purchased a 15L Brass Monkey car fridge and had an issue with the new style of lid deforming due to it being in a hot car. (The old style lid never did this)
The Booval store happily replaced the entire unit and advised me if it happens again, they will exchange it for something of equal value.
ALWAYS a pleasure to deal with the staff there and will happily continue to shop there when possible.

Shit website. I just got a $60 eGift card for my birthday and I've tried everything and it won't let me redeem it. It says to redeem it at digital checkout but when I got to that point there was no place where it showed me where to redeem the gift card. In conclusion this website never makes things easy, if there is a way to redeem this gift card it's the definition of not obvious. Like imagine some old person getting and egift card for Jaycar and then they don't even have a single clue as to what to do!

Tell me you policy has changed towards your customers. I arrived at a store no other customers at the counter and an overweight sales person with a grey beard asked me after some time being busy, what do you want. I said I was after some grommets and two other items. He said next to the screw drivers referring to the grommets and the cable is over there cut it yourself….the cable I was after was empty no grommets. The lack of any service left me bewildered as this guy was just sitting there. I don’t buy a lot of gear from Jaycar but supported the store over a good few decades. Not again. This store in the gateway shopping complex in Darwin was a disgrace to customer service. Again I ask, have you changed your policy towards your customers.
Do not buy from Jaycar
Do not buy online at Jaycar. They are happy to take your money but not provide the goods. Two weeks after paying for an item and still no goods. Communicating with them is horrible. All they say is "hopefully" someone will get back to me. Well NO they don't. Avoid Jaycar online! They advertise items that are out of stock.

Were very dismissive and unhelpful. Asked for help but didn’t want to bother too much. I heard such good things and that they had it all, but found more help at Coin Save. Don’t know what it was about me, middle aged Māori fella, but they weren’t interested. Won’t go back after that experience.

Bloody useless crap website appalling service
Useless but nah. Bought fridge online didn’t hear anything so emailed. No answer. Phoned to find no statement k but assured that stock was coming in and would be available 5 July. Email from them cancelling my order despite two emails from me saying not to do so. I can reorder - well not be brought l my refund shows up.

The North Lakes QLD is outstanding they have helped with my filament printers as well as the resin printer.

Needed some help with a fridge I purchased 3 days earlier in qland..a worker not the boss vince was boss he didn’t stop this maniac .from verbally abusing me.
I am going to lodge a formal complaint when i stop shaking..im 60 years old ..i ended up getting my money back.he wouldn’t stop screaming at me.

Click n collect item was dirty and used
Purchased item online via click and collect. Picked up in store ( Browns Plains QLD) box was open but didn't think anything of it.On opening next day found fan blades dirty with dust and fluff and 2 rubber bands inside fan frame piece you take out from battery removed already obviously been used probably behind counter my guess(It was not a display item) Emailed them as no phone reception due to storms in SE QLD received no response, emailed head office no response. Taking it back tomorrow they either give me one sealed in box or refund im not paying full price for a dirty second hand items Customer service is NON EXISTENT check boxes before you leave!!
