I have been a member of Jericho Writers for a while and have watched many of the on-line courses, but have only recently taken advantage of the free query letter review. Imogen sent me incredibly detailed and relevant feedback, together with links to further information for me to explore. The review far surpassed my expectations - I would recommend that anyone about to query, to send their letter in for a review before they take the plunge!

I’m not yet a member but had a free 15 minute phone call with Rachel today about how they could help me find a literary agent. Rachel was very knowledgeable and helpful and suggested various ways they might help. I was not given the ‘heavy sell’ and was most impressed.

Recently returned from Jericho Writers Festival of Writing wknd in London.
In these tough, cost of living times we're all looking for value for money. Can whole-heartedly say that the Jericho wknd was well worth it - financially and in many other ways...
The Jericho staff could not have been more welcoming, helpful, patient, kind, flexible, efficient and extra mile... They go above and beyond in so many ways...
The talks, workshops and events were all well-thought out, informative, in touch with writing and publishing realities, realistic as to the toughness and challenges of writing, but still encouraging. I like that balance. It feels real. It encourages me as a yet to be published writer, but makes me feel grounded, in touch and safe.
There are many charlatans out there in the writing world and in general. Jericho, however are honest, principled and to be trusted.
I can give them no higher praise.
If you are a writer who is looking for a positive, honest, fair-minded writing community, I would seriously consider looking at becoming a Jericho member (monthly subscription is around 12- 15 pounds a month roughly). There are all kinds of videos, workshops and other resources you can access with them online. Festivals, weekends and live events you can think about later.
Highly recommend them.

This was my second year attending the festival, and it was even better than last year. We started a Fantasy Writers WhatsApp group last year, and this year it doubled in size! Was great to meet so many authors I chat with on Jericho! Keep up the great work...

An excellent weekend - well organised by the professional, helpful and always friendly Jericho Writers staff. A great selection of seminars and workshops, the opportunity for feedback from agents, and lots of networking. I left feeling motivated, and excited about my writing.

I just attended my first London Festival of Writing held by Jericho Writers and found it to be incredibly helpful and inspiring. What a brilliantly uplifting weekend. All of the organisers, the professional speakers and attendees were just lovely, intelligent, warm people. I received fantastic constructive critique alongside encouragement. I will be getting a membership pronto.
I was advised to join/come by a friend who has recently been published. She was emphatic that I join Jericho writers as it’s though them that she really started to hone her craft. I understand now, why her push. Thanks for a great weekend!

Really well organised and exciting event, get into training you will need stamina! I am still bouncing off the ceiling from making it to the long list on the first 500 words competition, and with manuscripts requests, for me it couldn't have gone better. Great experience, possibly a career high and possibly greater things, who knows?

I have been a member of Jericho Writers since 2021 and have been attending each edition of their writing festival since. I can’t begin to describe what a fabulous experience it is and the amazing value I get from attending. Jericho Writers have been a steady partner on my writing journey and have always delivered consistent value.

I've been a premium member of Jericho writers for several years. I see it as an investment in myself and in my passion for writing. I love their masterclasses and their agent one-to-ones and their directory of agents is invaluable. Jericho writers have helped me hone my craft...but they also help keep my spirits up. The weekly emails with a brief outline of upcoming talks and new blog posts always make me feel more positive about 'the writing life' (which can often be a depressing slog!). I always look forward to Harry's Friday emails - they're funny, warm, clever, encouraging and always contain good advice. Especially in these dark days where AI is gutting us, Harry's emails make me feel connected to humanity and human story-telling. Thank you so much, Jericho Writers. You really help us keep our dreams alive.

Having only recently starting writing, I find the professionalism, friendliness and genuine support from the team of everyone who is a member or who attends events incredible. The Jericho team are outstanding!

Jericho Writers are an excellent tool in the tool belt of all new writers. Their extensive archives full of videos and material on how to write, pitch and publish your book, and everything in-between, have been invaluable in helping me get as far as I have in my own process. The highlight of their services is the London Festival of Writing, where you get to speak to industry professionals, as well as network and meet agents in a 1-2-1 setting. I can highly recommend joining their premium membership and all their events online and in person.

I have belonged to Jericho Writers for nearly 2 years now and just attended their London Literary Festival (13/14 June 2026). As with all Jericho experiences, the Festival was vibrant and relevant. The speakers are engaged and impart their knowledge and experience, not only during the workshops, but at any time you approach them. The agent one-to-ones are a great bonus. Jericho know their stuff! The staff are excellent.

I just attended Jericho's London Festival of Writing 2026 and it has been such a valuable experience. From the workshops and agent 1 to 1s, to spending time in the company of so many other authors, has all been truly inspirational. I felt so welcomed by the Jericho team as soon as I arrived at the venue and someone was always on hand for any issues or queries. Everything was so well organised and the range of festival events meant there was something for everyone. I have come away with constructive feedback for my writing, new friends and a strong sense of community.

The London Festival of Writing is a great event. Filled with a whole host of different workshops, panels and talks there's something for every genre and standard of writer. I purchased an 'all access' ticket which also included two agent meetings. These were invaluable. They both provided constructive feedback of how to develop my rough draft and I returned home revitalised with more confidence. I will definitely do this again, it was a marvellous experience...but heads up, you are exhausted by the end of it! Take the Monday off!

Jericho writers are a fantastic team of dedicated authors who understand what it's like to put yourself out there the way authors do. They're so supportive and helpful, they don't try to push their products if they think they're inappropriate and they're friendly. The Festival of Writing event is one of my favourite events of the year - strongly recommend it for immersing yourself in your passion and networking with other authors in your genre. Find your tribe and join in!

Loved this year's festival, great agents and feedback, lovely organization and the food was amazing! Loved the books, the authors, the signing. The workshops were fun. A great experience overall!

This review is specific to their London Festival of Writing 2026. It’s not cheap but I thought it was completely worth it just for the networking and the opportunity you get to meet and pitch to agents, as well as to connect with other aspiring and published authors. If you have been writing for a while the workshops may be a bit too generic for you, but I think this is balanced out with the great networking set up. (and all of the staff is very lovely and approachable!). In addition it includes feedback from two agents on your querying package (who you get to meet in person in 1-1 for 15 minutes each) if you pay for the full weekend access. Recommended for aspiring authors who are looking to break into the industry.

I have been a premium member for 2 years, have done various courses and have attended their London festival of writing. I can honestly say everything they do is brilliant. Great advice and a lovely, supportive community of writers.

I had a technical issue with the site when I joined. It wasn't an easy fix by the sounds of it but the team was helpful, friendly and stayed with it until it was resolved. Very happy.
