Took 6 weeks to arrive, what arrived was completely different to what was on the website. The quality is awful, and they are refusing to give me a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The quality of the shawl I ordered was poor, I wanted to return it however, they don’t answer emails properly. I have been trying to return the shawl for more than 3 weeks. My last two emails have not been responded to. I don’t know how they are rated as excellent on Trustpilot

Lovely dress received but was way too small ! No sizing on the dress at all !!
I’ve been trying to get a refund for weeks now and the only reply I have from them is they need me to provide all the measurements of the dress and a picture of how it’s too small on me !!!!!!
I replied and now my e-mails are being ignored !!!!! Awful company !!!!

Extremely disappointing customer service – refund still outstanding

I purchased two dresses in July 2026 for £74 and requested a return on the very day they arrived because neither fitted.

The company initially offered me a 50% discount to keep the dresses, which I declined because I wanted a full refund.

There was then a considerable delay before the company provided the return instructions. I returned both dresses promptly once I received them.

Despite repeatedly following up, I was consistently told that the returned items were awaiting inspection. I was also assured that I would receive a refund.

Now, several months later, the company is refusing my refund, claiming the dresses were returned too late, despite the delays in providing the return instructions.

I have retained the entire email correspondence documenting what happened.

I have been extremely patient and followed the company’s instructions throughout. I am very disappointed by the way this has been handled and am now having to pursue the refund through my credit card provider.

Based on my experience, I would advise other customers to be very cautious about the returns and refund process.

Took ages to arrive, but looked good when it arrived……….. It just didnt look right on me for a wedding, and so i asked for a refund, as they had advertised that they did refunds. They refused to give a full refund, and would only give me 15% of the full price. Very poor, and i certainly wouldnt’t be trusting their ‘word’ again!!

Would of left a zero score if I could! Avoid this company like the plague. I ordered an halter neck dress and they sent me a one shouldered dress but in the same pattern and two sizes too small. I tried to return this item and I had to send them pictures of the dress. Their website states NO HASSLE RETURNS may I add. After around 6 weeks they finally came back to me saying that I had received the correct dress, How is a one shoulder dress the same as an halter neck? Also in the mean time I done a little research into them, which I wish I woulld have done first! The one dress said Reduced from £100+ to £39. I found that same dress on Shein for £18. I looked at a few more and the same again all on chinese websites for under £20 and near enough everything on their site. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I did receive the dress I ordered but in the wrong colour. They were never going to allow me to return it, despite exchanging numerous emails & photos. I eventually got my money back through a chargeback from my bank.

If I could give zero I would! Terrible! Ordered dress, meant to be half price, paid £35. Took 5 weeks to come, even though they said 2-3 days. Absolutely awful, and didn't fit, had to send in photos of measuring it with tape measure, photos of wearing it from 3 different angles, i also sent photos of inside, the exposed chunky stitching, no liner, so asked for a refund, didn't want another size as quality was so bad, and I mean really bad. They said I could have a refund of 15%, I refused, said I wanted to send it back as was no good to me. Then offered a refund of 25%, again said no, was so bad I couldn't resell it, then offered 50% discount, again I said no, didn't fit, no good to me. I emailed them for over 3 months, they eventually sent me a return label to print. It was an address in America, Went to post office and post would cost me £35, same as what the dress cost, so ended up throwing it in the bin, I couldn't keep stressing about the awful dress, should have took the 50%! Bet I wouldn't have got it though. Afterwards saw the same dress on temu for £9. Do not use this site, honestly an absolute scam.

It's a front for a Temu distribution. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Do not buy from this company, it is a scam. They offer a 50% discount if you post a good review before the order arrives, which is probably the only reason there are any good reviews. As stated by many other people, this is a Chinese company. The quality is very poor and the items I ordered did not fit. They refused to refund because they sent the size I ordered. After many emails insisting on a refund, they finally sent a returns form for the parcel to be posted to the USA. The total of my order was £95 and the postage was £45. I thought it was worth it to get some money back. I have a proof of delivery for the parcel, which I sent them, and over a month later still no refund, despite many more emails. This has now been going on since July.

**Disappointing experience – would not recommend**

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Jessica By Bee.

I ordered a dress for £34.95, believing I was buying from a UK boutique. The website uses the name “Jessica By Bee York”, displays a York address and advertises free UK delivery with Royal Mail. This gave me the impression that I was purchasing from a UK-based business.

The dress arrived on 30 October, and the quality was very disappointing. The material is extremely thin and see-through – so transparent that I can see cars outside through it when holding the dress up against a window. It also does not flare out as shown in the product photographs. The tag was not even attached to the dress; it was loose in the packaging.

I had already emailed the company on 27 October, before the dress arrived, asking to cancel the order and receive a full refund. Despite this, the dress was delivered and I have since had difficulty getting my money back.

I was particularly unhappy to discover that returns involve an overseas returns centre and that customers may have to pay international postage. This was not what I expected when ordering from a website presenting itself as a York-based boutique. If I had wanted to buy clothing from an overseas supplier, I could have chosen somewhere like SHEIN.

Rather than offering the full £34.95 refund I requested, the company offered me partial refunds or store credit. I do not consider a voucher an acceptable solution, especially when the product and overall experience have been so disappointing.

I would strongly advise other customers to read the returns policy carefully and look beyond the UK branding before placing an order. Based on my experience, I would not buy from this company again.

JessicaByBee.Store...This company is a disgrace and needs to be avoided like the plague.....complete fraudsters. Their 30 day money back guarantee and Customer Service are non existent. They do not arrange returns quickly, and when they do, it is to the USA costing around £30! They hide behind an email address, and ghost their customers. Their clothing comes from China, takes around 3 weeks to arrive. Mine did not fit, shoddy fabric. I reported them to Trading Standards....go elsewhere for your clothing!!!

I saw a lovely summer dress which came up on a Google search and stupidly ordered from this company without checking the reviews on here.
The dress took nearly six weeks to arrive and was made in awful fabric with a print that had obviously been copied from a sample photo online, as it was blurry and even had numbers dotted randomly in it.
Luckily I've been able to get my money back via PayPal, despite Jessica By Bee answering several complaints as if they were PayPal and only offering partial refunds (which were not accepted).
Do not use this company!

After 2 months they have responded asking for pictures of me in the dress and highlighting the issue. My repo se was sent as followed !!!

First of all may I say what absolute piece of garbage the dress was ! Secondly your response and customers service is no better!

Thirdly after waiting nearly two months I read trip advisor review and not one client has a good word to say about you. The whole set up looks fake from start to finish !

Fourthly, your reply has added to that insult by asking for pictures of me and scrutinising how I would look in the dress , in order for you to refund me! The dress is poorly made , cheap nasty material , with no support or structure.

Companies in Britain do not ask for these requirements in order for a customer to return the goods and you would know that if you were a British brand as you claim to be!

Fifthly, by doing all this you are taking away my consumer rights for a refund . I have every right to a refund and you need to send me the address so that I can return it immediately as you promise in the web site

As I will be taking legal action ,I await your immediate response!!!

Hi I found them on Google who we trust they was quick to answer had the shoes I am looking for orthopaedic I needed and look soft uppers. And black needed for outings with my son David yes happy with them I will come back to you if not all it seems Mary Farrow
