Efficient and effective Job Board

It helps me from having to search 100s of other job boards when it brings all the info to me

What a shady experience

What a shady experience: you see a listing on LinkedIn; then you apply (it's "Easy Apply", why not?); followed by a email prompting you to sign-up, to see Matching Score.
All of this within a single hour, which is nice, right?
Well — NOT AT ALL, since the first thing that pops up is that the listing has expired. Meaning, Jobgether has listed a "stale" position, just to attract people.

Gist of it is: beware Jobgether, bad experience altogether.

Job listings on Jobgether come directly from company career pages and partner sources. When a role is filled or closed on the employer's side, there can be a lag before that status is reflected on our end. That's a real gap in our process, and it's something we're actively working to close.

What you experienced, applying, receiving a match email, then landing on an expired listing, is a poor experience regardless of the reason. We get that.

I have been charged with Rs. 3300 even though subscription is cancelled before the renewal date. What's the point of cancelling the subscription then. Pure scam.

I've still to be convinced by this platform...

This seems to be a common issue as others have written similar reviews.

After applying for a job advertised on LinkedIn that could only be applied for via Jobgether I received an email the following day stating I could view my job match for this position by following a link. The link took me to Jobgether where I was required to sign up for the service, which I did. However, there was no matching report for the job I had applied for and further there was no record in the system that I had even applied for the job!!! To me, based on this experience, makes me feel it has the feel and smell of a bait and switch...

That said. The platform is clear and simple to use. Let's hope I'm proved wrong and Jobgether turns out to be a genuine user friendly platform. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I've also spotted a couple of interesting positions from my jobs match list.

This shouldn’t have happened, so your concern is valid.

Applications for these roles are processed directly through Jobgether. In some cases, we may not be able to link an application to your account if a different email address was used during sign-up. When that happens, the application won’t appear in your dashboard. However, we can easily merge it with your account.

I recommend contacting support@jobgether.com
with the email you used, and we’ll resolve this for you. Once fixed, your application will appear normally in your dashboard and you’ll be able to access your assessment.

In any case, there is no bait and switch. The goal is to provide additional insights and transparency, not to redirect you elsewhere.

No response to applications

Their adverts response ratio is even worse than Linkedin's, and that's something. Applied to a few jobs with over 90% affinity and didn't get a single answer. It's just another scavenger with some AI plaster on top that tries to sell their "improve your CV" services. But for job searching? Utterly hopeless, stick with free Linkedin.

What you’re describing is unfortunately a broader reality of today’s job market, especially for remote roles. Even highly relevant applications often don’t receive responses, regardless of the platform used. This is precisely one of the problems we are trying to address.

A couple of clarifications that may help:

Jobgether does not control recruiter responses. We aggregate and distribute opportunities, but hiring decisions and replies remain fully on the employer side.
The “match” score reflects match potential, not a guarantee of response. In a market where hundreds of candidates apply to the same role, even strong profiles can be overlooked.
Our goal is not to sell CV services, but to improve visibility and positioning so candidates have a higher chance of being considered, not ignored.

That said, your feedback is valid and useful. If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to review your profile and applications to understand what may have limited your results and see how we can improve your outcomes.

Bonjour,

Ce n’est pas une arnaque. L’offre était bien réelle mais elle n’accepte simplement plus de nouvelles candidatures. Cela arrive assez souvent, surtout sur des postes attractifs (notamment en remote) où l’entreprise reçoit un très grand nombre de candidatures en peu de temps et décide de désactiver l’annonce rapidement.

Nous comprenons que cela puisse être frustrant et nous en sommes désolés. Nous faisons de notre mieux pour maintenir les offres à jour, mais certaines peuvent se fermer très rapidement lorsque le volume de candidatures devient trop important.

This platform is a total scam designed for data mining rather than actual recruitment. I applied for a senior role, only to receive a generic automated email 24 hours later claiming a "Match Score" was ready.

The catch? You are forced to sign up and create a profile just to see this "assessment," which is a clear and unprofessional tactic to inflate their user database. This practice likely violates GDPR principles (Article 5 & 7), as personal data from a job application is being used as "bait" for forced service registration without genuine, freely given consent.

As confirmed by other users, their "algorithm" is lazy and ignores actual CV experience, serving only as a gateway for their marketing funnel. If you are a serious professional, stay away. They don't want to hire you; they just want your data.

First, Jobgether is not a data-mining platform. We support talents to find remote jobs, increasing their visibility, and bringing insights and clarity. Candidates apply to roles, and we provide additional matching insights to improve transparency around alignment with job requirements.

Regarding the email you received, this is an automated notification informing candidates that their profile can be analyzed in more detail (with a detailed assessment for transparency - this step is optional). Creating a profile is required because the analysis is tied to structured data and preferences, which cannot be processed securely without an account (to protect your personal data).

On GDPR: we are fully compliant with European data protection regulations. Data is processed only for recruitment and matching purposes, under lawful bases such as consent and legitimate interest. Users can request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time. We do not sell personal data.

Concerning the algorithm: it does not replace recruiters, nor does it independently decide who is hired. It evaluates explicit evidence found in a CV against the job description. If experience is described differently than expected, it may not be detected with full confidence. That is a limitation of automated systems, not an intentional disregard of experience.

I applied for a job on Linkedin and had to do it via jobgether. The application process was smooth. 1 day later however I got an automatic mail that I should check my assessment results, if I fit for the job or not. This result was very surprising, and stated I am missing evidence of experience for a couple of points. The surprising part was that out of 5 points, 4 were clearly stated in my CV, that I have experience with those. Based on the e-mail I also had the feeling this assessment will decide if I am selected to an interview or not. No information about how the assessment is done, and what was measured. Also, I have no clue how the clearly mentioned points in my CV were ignored and stated as no evidence of experience regarding those. All in all, seems very unprofessional and have the feeling that an automated filter is deciding who can have an interview and who does not, and if you are using wrong or different key words, you are out.

That said, you are raising an important point. Our system evaluates alignment based on explicit, structured evidence found in the CV. If experience is described in a more implicit way, or under different terminology than what the role requires, it may not always be recognized correctly. This does not mean the experience is not there. It means the system did not confidently detect it.

To clarify:
- The assessment does not automatically decide whether you are selected for an interview.
- Recruiters and hiring teams retain full discretion.
- The assessment is designed as a matching support layer, not a final decision-maker.
