I came across jobtest.org because I’ve been feeling lost about my career and future plans for a while now. I’m a registered nurse and in addition to feeling burnt out, I’ve realized it’s just not a career I can tolerate for the rest of my life. I needed some guidance and with a google search found jobtest.org. I was skeptical about how informative it would be but when I received my results it read me like filth!! I was given information on my personality and work style and careers that match. Some of these careers are ones I have considered, but wondered if I really would be compatible. I needed some reassurance and confidence and happy to see that I was somewhat on the right track.

Jobtest gave me insight into roles that align with jobs I may actually want to do. I love that I got to put in the salary I'm looking for so the jobs aligned with real life.

About a year ago I was not happy in my career field. At the time I felt lost as to what I wanted to do, then I came across this test on IG and I’m glad I took it, because it gave me a goal to strive for. I now work in a career field that incorporates four of the recommended job fields.

I came to this website from a recommendation that it helps people in a more personalized way, especially those who are contemplating change or otherwise needing direction, and I am glad I did. I worked with Tom Chapman, who helped me feel seen, heard, and valued. His gentle guidance felt like a calm in the storm, and I appreciated that he went over all the details of not just the career test but how to interpret results and use that data to the fullest for next steps, rather than blindly follow its results. He was clear that ultimately the test itself is a tool, and coached me through how to use it well.

Though I have enjoyed my first session, I know it is not a magic bullet, and the road to refining my career goals and working my way to them is going to be a long and arduous one. But, I will feel better going through it when I'm not going through it alone.

I was matched with Elisha Austin, a phenomenal coach who truly listened to me and got to know who I was. She focused on helping me find a career I love instead of just "the next job." Elisha provided and taught me how to use various resources to advance my career search and how to stand out amongst other applicants. Her encouraging, inspiring, and positive outlook helped me through a difficult unemployment period and motivated me to continue the job search. I can't recommend her enough.

I recently discovered Jobtest.org while thinking about a career change. The experience thus far has been so encouraging, and very insightful. Right off the bat, seeing my skillset articulated in various forms (a visual chart, a bio, a summary of strengths, ideas for growth, etc.) has given me tools and vocabulary to take practical, active steps toward a more meaningful career. So many of the other career assessments churn out the same tiresome recommendations, but I was very pleased with the results and tools provided by JobTest.org. The jobtest.org site and career guidance based on test results have a very clear layout that is easy to navigate, with links to job openings based on your career test. I was fortunate to have had Mollie Hodl as my career coach: I was pleasantly surprised by how personal Mollie was; after a week, she emailed - to see how I was doing. Apart from providing solid professional guidance, she was very supportive & warm, although being a psychologist was not a part of her job description. Thank you!

I wasn’t sure about answering all the questions, but the results were an accurate reflection of my personality and work characteristics. I recommend this to anyone looking for an outside perspective.

I've been in the same industry for 20 years and wanted to see what else was out there. This was a fun way to get out of my head and into considering some different job markets. I'm glad I got the session with Nicole because she recommended an updated resume layout and connected me to online tools. There is just so much online these days, it can get overwhelming. Nicole also gave me ideas for industry recognized certificates I could pursue. I'm glad I did this to kickoff my career change.

Do not bother with this service. It asks how interested you are in certain roles and then recommends them based on your interest. It does not provide additional possibilities or fields that you could consider. In addition, they are continually trying to upsell you and then you will have coaches reaching out and trying to sell you their services. I feel like a sucker for paying for the results. I wish I could rewind and get my money back.

Highly recommend Jobtest.org especially if you are contemplating a career transition like I am, Queen Ofori is an exceptional career coach! She is very attentive and knowledgeable, she has helped me look at different careers to see what is a good fit and that aligns with my passion and core values.

When I bought this package following my JobTest assessment, I didn't know what to expect and was a little concerned it would be a one-size-fits-all consultation. However, it has exceeded my expectations. For roughly a month, I've been working with Christen Frank, who has kept me focused on achieving my goals.
